What are your head-canons for Ori as a character? Who they are? What they believe? General personality, and all that.
I'm curious. I've been in this fandom since the games first released, but I just now realized that I've never actually thought about Ori as a character. As depicted in game, I mean. I genuinely never got any more than "Ori is curious, playful, and protective" out of what the games have shown.
I've sort of side-stepped this question for as long as I have largely because my own head-canons regarding Ori all have the context of being centuries after Will of the Wisps. After centuries of being the parent of hundreds, being the de-facto leader of multiple peoples, navigating the diplomacy and politics between them all, all the while trying to grow the forest without making the same mistakes of the Spirit Tree and Willow... needless to say, the Ori that I've been thinking about for years is basically an OC at this point.

I’ve never actually posted about this franchise until now but I’m a giant fan of the Ori series
These games are so beautiful and sweet and play so incredibly well, love ‘em so so SO much I don’t know how Moon Studios does it
That said, I just finished Omori last night and have now started Ori 2. Wish me luck

So I'm rewatching 3rd life from all perspectives with my friend @georgieporgiepuddininpie and they just made a brilliant comment:
The funniest part about 3rd life that didn't carry into other seasons was that up until a certain point, everyone was playing a different game
Grian and Scar were playing Catan until Scar got to red and then they started playing 3rd life
Impulse and Etho were playing Among Us
Scott , Jimmy and BigB were playing just vanilla Minecraft
Joel was playing hardcore
Skizz was playing naked & afraid
Cleo and Bdubs were playing Hermitcraft
Ren & Martyn were playing DnD
Tango was the only one actually playing 3rd life skdnskdnsd

"It'd be cool to get a sequel but it sucks that we couldn't play as Ori in it because of the ending to WotW :("
You can if you're not a coward. Ori as the non-entity general of Real Time Strategy. Ori as the abstract POV character of a 4X/Grand Strategy. Ori as the Frostpunk-style centerpiece of a City Builder.
