Listen, maybe it’s just that I’ve done almost every slow burn route this game has ever thrown at us (Jake, Noah, Finn, now Ozzy, I also went for Oliver who was a last minute LI in S4), but I’m kind of… hopeful still? I won’t lie lmao, that hurt. It really hurt for a minute there. But at the end of the day, after you get a minute to sit back on it, it’s kind of understandable.
I seriously don’t get why people can do whatever they want in this game (MC included), but, if Ozzy does it, he’s the villain. Was what he did great? No. But was he hurt and confused and just made a mistake? Yeah. It’s actually not that different from what Grace did in CA, just less intentional. And I don’t know about you, but I don’t think Grace is a bad person. She’s not my favorite (I won’t lie), but she’s a good gal. So, I get it (I still have to get completely over it myself), but let’s not talk about Ozzy like he’s this bad person, please.
He’s no Suresh. More than anything, Ozzy gives Noah vibes with an even softer personality, more baggage AND more insecurities.
MC was absolutely right to be mad at Ozzy right about now, but personally I also defended him from Marshall and Grace, because what was that. The hypocrisy (Grace), the gall (Marshall).
Also, I see that a lot of people are forgetting this is Love Island and Ozzy had no obligation to anyone at the time in which CA happened. We have every right to be upset, of course, but he’s no snake or player. Personally, I kind of just want to hug him.
Again, MC is completely right to be mad at Ozzy now (though I’ll admit, I’m already dying for the two of them to sort things through), but the fact that Ozzy was spiralling so bad he went for a three-way kiss while skinny dipping (when we know how he feels about intimacy) absolutely broke my heart.
(Not to mention, when Ozzy said he immediately regretted that night and was beating himself up about it, I swear I felt his words down in my soul. Plus, he’s the only one who owned up to his own mistakes. That, in my opinion, is more important than not making them at all.)

Fact: As MC, you can make so many choices throughout the game (kissing, bits, lap dances, etc.) that you get away with
Fact: It stung, but I still love Ozzy
Maybe we are all just making excuses for him, but I really don’t think he’s a bad guy. He owned up to it and seemed so remorseful. Grace was unapologetic for kissing Hamish, which I don’t really care about, but then she’s livid about Ozzy. I like her but I’m over her antics.
At the end of the day, I’ve put up with much worse in this game- Cherrygate, Blake, S5 to name a few. We’ll get over this, too 💖💖

Honestly I’d rather be on Love Island.
The challenges look SO FUN and I love the whole idea of the show. It would be so bad for my anxiety but if I found someone lovely on there I wouldn’t hesitate to stick with them.
Also there is no way is be able to keep my pants on for THTH. Sorry not sorry. I’m old enough now to know that I CAN get to know someone without the physical aspect, but why in the ever living fuck would I want to do that 😂😂😂

Narration, witty asides, description & small details, world-building...? I find it difficult to answer this question.
What are your writing weaknesses?
Reading too many others fics instead of making myself sit down to write my own. 😳 I take too long between chapters. I need to write more about how my characters are feeling/sensing, etc., particularly in love scenes. Maybe showing some characters' bad traits?
Thoughts on dialogue in another language?
I enjoy it, even if there's not a translation. I don't mind looking it up. If it fits the character, this should be included. I think right now I only have one ESL, and I try to pepper his dialogue with Swedish words and phrases and nicknames. Sweet Henrik.

5. What is a song you associate with a specific character?
Oooh, that's interesting. I listen to songs on repeat while I write, so oftentimes the song is more tied to my personal interpretation of the character than to the canon one. So I guess I'd say Maybe by Lewis Capaldi for Bobby. It's about fear and self-destruction and perfectly captures Bobby in TSIME.

If you had to guess, how do you think theo and mc are gonna end up together? Bc the way things are going rn (with us never even being able to talk to him) I just don’t know how it’ll work out and it’d be so weird if he just came out and said “hey I really like you let’s couple up” when we haven’t had a single chat with him. And it seems like at this point he’s more invested than claudia is especially after today’s episodes where she straight up tells mc she thinks she’s exactly her type. So I can see how her route will open up but all theo does is talk about how committed to claudia he is. I just need to couple with him rn!!!!!!
Oh friend, I’m equally frustrated about the whole thing!! And the short answer is- I don’t know. They are keeping Theo away from us which I find very rude and unnecessary. Like calm down fb, we know what a slow burn is 🙄
The long answer has three parts (maybe more 😂):
What I would love to see happen- we develop a true friendship with Theo, maybe confiding in each other about our partners or challenges, and it blossoms into something more. FTL is my drug of choice and I would eat that. But fb cannot be trusted to deliver such things 😔 (Ooh, fic idea💡)
What I think will happen- some major event with him and Claudia that ultimately breaks them up. We’re starting to see cracks, especially this volume with their lifestyle differences. He likes to travel, she likes to put down roots. And she doesn’t like his dancing 😂 But I have a sneaking suspicion that he kissed the OG Rachel we keep hearing about and maybe that comes to light. Then he’ll have a moment where he’s like, I was holding back because I was trying to do right by Claudia, blah blah blah. How we interact with him up to that point though, I’m hoping they’ll open his route with this Tyler guy coming in. Maybe he’s Claudia’s type and that makes Theo reconsider being so closed off.
What will probably happen- out of the blue, even if you haven’t flirted with him, he’ll confess his feelings. And then I will cry 😭 And it will probably be after Casa, like he realized it while we were gone.
I just want to interact with Theo, have a cheeky flirt. That’s the whole point of the show and should also be front and center in the game. Fb is just lazy and can’t be bothered to branch their stories properly anymore. We had more interaction with Noah for goodness sakes, or even Seb and Nicky, even though we were just friends. So we’re left with Theo crumbs for now 😢🤲

Seeing you go from a Theo girlie or a Kyle girlie is amazing because I love when you go expecting to romance someone only for your plans to be derailed by another LI. Ahaha who doesn't love a good surprise, eh😂?
Also, I am living for your Kyle appreciation posts. Everyone is so into Max (nothing against him. I just like Kyle more) Sometimes I feel lonely because Kyle is cute, even when he makes me reset the volume to lie to Jin so I can stay with him👉👈.
Aaahhh nonny, the struggle is real!! 😂 I was dead set on doing a Theo route, and then Kyle swept me off my feet 🥰🫠 I can honestly say, this season has been FULL of pleasant surprises, my head turning being the biggest one. Anyway, so obviously wtf was movie night AS A WHOLE I'm proud of fusebox for finally for once giving us chaos, drama etc we deserved it.
Anyway regarding the Ozzy situation, I don't get why everyone is so pressed over the 3 way kiss and skinny dipping scenario... I stayed loyal in my casa playthrough BUT I know from reading other posts that there was the option for us to skinny dip on the beach date, plus n2 to do bits with Andy or go all the way in the hideaway I'm sure, now if you weren't loyal and were a bit of a cheeky minx how can we all be mad at Oz?
Now we know Oz doesn't do meaningless relationships/connections if you're on an Ozzy route all the convos with islanders who've left etc will reiterate that actually Ozzy does have a lot of feelings for MC BUT now hear me out here, we never got told WHAT our postcard showed US doing, so if you were a devil 😉 in casa and got your groove on at all that could've been in the postcard and that may be why his head was a bit screwed for one of a better word?
I honestly can't gripe it tbh, he owned it, he didn't lie and told us what happened, now had he have lied I'd have been pretty pissed, but I genuinely have faith that Ozzy will be the most damn loyal person to mc when we eventually get to couple up he doesn't strike me as a man whore, he never tried it on with any bombshells at all, until casa and at that point they had no clue we were waiting on him

I’m right there with you. Honestly, it was a bit of a shock to hear about Ozzy’s shenanigans HOWEVER I’m not too pressed about it. We weren’t in a couple and MC had so many chances to be naughty in a Casa. I am curious if MC messed around more if they show that on Movie Night, cuz I can’t even remember my clip it was so boring 😪
I’m sure the postcard was made to look like the girls were having just as much fun as we were led to believe the boys were. And I think Grace and Ozzy needed some big dramatic moment to finally break up because fb has been dragging their “relationship” out for so long.
And I agree with you- when he and MC finally chat about the incident after needlessly talking to the other boys (I hate that they keep making us do that), Ozzy 💯 owns up to it. If we had found out about it on Movie Night I would have been pissed, but he confessed and apologized.
I still love him. We’re in this together 🤝🙌💗💗

hii 🥺👉🏽👈🏽 I'm curious on your opinion on something from the Ozzy route.
I'm doing a research run right now, and I was wondering what you thought about him rekindling Grace's hope after MC's fake dumping, then not calling things off with Grace as soon as he could've? (I've shared my thoughts on it here)
I've just found it hard to wrap my head around on my own, and it's been difficult because I do like his character otherwise 🥺
Oof, yeah, that was brutal 😭 I have my own headcanon for why Ozzy behaved the way he did, but ultimately the reason is poor, lazy writing with no branching. Unfortunately, fb wrote a lot of his actions/dialogue so it would be the same if you romance him or not. There’s variation, sure, but you didn’t have to unlock his route and it has become abundantly clear in recent seasons that our choices don’t matter. So whether you plant a big smooch on him when you get “dumped” or you turned him down flat, his immediate reaction post Casa is basically the same, with maybe an extra meaningful look. Boo.
My headcanon is this- we know Ozzy is indecisive and takes things slow. And he’s driven by doing what’s right or respectful of his partner, which is Grace. So his head is turning to MC pre-Casa; they’re vibing, and he’s definitely shown that he’s more into MC than his partner, but Grace hasn’t given up. Ozzy is torn between what he thinks is the right thing to do and his heart. Then MC gets fake dumped and he’s devastated. He and Grace chat about continuing but his heart’s not in it. Then Casa happens and he’s left with a rocky partnership and a broken heart. So the infamous threeway kiss happens, which pushes him further into a guilt spiral. But he still thinks he needs to do the right thing and stick with Grace so she isn’t dumped. He’s finally made a decision and then MC is back. But he can’t put it in reverse, so he follows through with Grace, until he can properly chat with MC and see where her head’s at.
Fb blew it with MC’s reveal, too. Saying the boys saw her on the postcard was so anticlimactic. So let’s say that did happen- they probably showed MC kissing or flirting with one of the boys, causing Ozzy to doubt if what they had was real. Another reason for him to stick with Grace so he doesn’t look like a fool if MC returns with a Casa boy.
So that’s my excuses for his behavior 😅 But I’m an Ozzy apologist through and through. Even if his actions don’t make sense, I believe at his core he desperately wants to do the right thing, if he can figure out what that is. And ultimately he does, it just takes him a while to get there.
