If I had a nickel for every song that is a abt a wallet being a metaphor for lost/dead people in our lives that I also associate with Henry and I bawl my eyes too, I would have two nickels, which isn't a lot but its weird it happend twice
Here is sad Henry doodle to represent how I feel when I listen to the two

Was in a particularly musical mood the other night and had Noderum Records on my mind. I started musing over what I'd consider each speaker's "signature" song, so I present those thoughts!
Signature Song of Noderum Records Speakers
[Kordelia]
This song is especially fitting for some of her earlier audios, but I've always loved this song for Kordelia. She hides a lot of her emotions, usually for the sake of not drawing attention to herself. She doesn't enjoy the thought of masking it as anything else, even if it feels like people will leave her for being authentic.
[Dominique]
Not gonna lie, a lot of Dominique's playlist has this vibe of music, and I think that's incredibly fitting for them. This song encompasses that complex space their relationship with Sweetness exists in. Clear chemistry but blurred lines/boundaries.
[Romeo]
For those who have heard his confession audio, this song is fully in reference to that. That plus the general proximity to sun imagery makes this the perfect song for someone like Romeo.
[Solstice]
Fun fact: Came very close to choosing Dynasties and Dystopias from Arcane. But I think this better represents Sol's internal desires and motivations as a cupid. She is a being who sees love in everything and enjoys being able to witness it, even if she hasn't had much experience herself.
[Eritus]
This song went into Eri's playlist the first day I ever heard it. Y'all don't know all the ins and outs of Eri's backstory just yet, but let me tell you: This song right here? Embodies everything I adore and associate with him /pos
[Nova]
I can't even articulate the reaction I have whenever I hear this song. It always comes back to Nova. For reasons that I cannot full share. Just know it is angsty and it hurts and it's what I associate with Nova more than anything. /lh
[Jessalyn]
To anyone who knows this song: Of course it would be Jessalyn's signature song. Everything she does screams this song. Like let's be so real here— It's also no coincidence that she has Price of Perfection in her playlist as well.
[Emerson]
Settling on a song for Emerson was tough, but I think this one comes to mind first when I think about them. I associate them with academia a lot and the overall vibes of this song feels reflective of them.
[Valora]
This song was one of the first I added to Val's playlist, and the line of thinking was "This is a vibe and also definitely fits her specific style of anxiety at times". It fits even more given the recent developments with her as a Crown, and I can't help but think it's her signature song. (Denim Jacket by Sammy Rae & The Friends was a close runner-up though)
[Harley]
What better song than something that sums up the playful intimacy that Harley and Gorgeous share? Tell me this isn't their song. I'll wait. /lh
Part 2 of this post will be going up shortly!

🎭 and 🎵 for the oc ask game!!!
Answering these with Wes for funsies
🎭 MASKS - do they act differently around certain people? what's different between the way they act around friends, family, strangers, etc.?
The difference between how it acts around strangers and how he acts around family or the few friends it still has is like night and day. With strangers, he's anxious, standoffish, and it always gets snappy whenever he gets asked too many questions. As a result, it comes off as a somewhat rude, irritable person who is simultaneously an anxious wreck. If you're not one of the lucky few who he trusts, you'd be hard-pressed to even get a proper smile out of him.
With family or friends, however, it acts almost completely different. He's still an anxious wreck, of course, but it's much more clear just how exhausted he is, and most (if not all) of that snappiness is gone. It'll make jokes, laugh along to the ones he's told, and even manage a small smile from time to time. Some are even lucky enough to get a name out of it.
🎵 MUSIC NOTE - what is their playlist like? their favourite artists? do you associate a particular song with them?
I think most of his playlist is composed of Jack Stauber and Will Wood songs, which it listens to on repeat, ESPECIALLY when the anxiety induced intrusive thoughts get to be too loud. Thoughts about Ridley, thoughts about whether or not he's even still alive, thoughts about if he could be dying right now, or if he'd died the moment the letters stopped coming, and it'd quest to find him was pointless from the start...
Naturally, he finds itself listening to this playlist to fall asleep, trying to drown out the thoughts that grow even louder in the silence.
I think the song "Just Take My Wallet" by Jack Stauber in particular is so fucking Wescore that it's making me unwell.

okay i know you said "Love will" is one of your favorite Jack Stauber songs but what about the rest? 👁👁
Aye good question!! They are all awesome
huh, let’s see, imma pick 10
Love Will - Okay, this is a very short one but I think that’s what so great about it! A little comfort song. Even if things (relationships, work, life-) are difficult, we always gonna have some kind of love helping us to get better again (the song itself is about a messy relationship and how the pair works things out but this is what it means to me ;w;)
Two Time - This was my first Jack Stauber song, so yep i might be biased dbhshb but yeah Two Time slaps, it made me fall in love with Jack’s style and i still vibe to it often (even tho it’s about cheating oop-)
Buttercup - Yeah this is one of- hell maybe the most well known Stauber song with Oh Klahoma and Just Take My Wallet but GODDAMN it deserves it, it’s just wonderful!! Another important comfort song for me, it helped me through so damn much and it’s just so sooooo perfect as oc inspiration. The vocals, the instrumental and the 80′ vibes are such a beautiful mix and the outro always ends up tugging at my heart strings for some reason.. so yep it’s great!!
Dead Weight - i believe in HiLo supremacy, sorry Pop Food stans /j no no but really this is a masterpiece and so relatable it kinda hurts (like it’s probably definitely about someone who wants to be sociable and meet people, but doesn’t know how to- same chief same). It’s just so weirdly nostalgic and yea whenever the chorus comes up i wail “dead weight” along with my guy, truly an experience
John and Nancy - this is just *chef’s kiss* perfection. The story behind it is actually so interesting but the song itself.. man i can’t describe it, it reminds me of the times when i used to ride the bus back home and it was already dark, but i was still kinda able to see the last traces of the sunset. This is the “i’m remembering parts of the past and i don’t want to think of them, why does my mind hate me so?” song. And i love it very much
It’s alright - don’t know what to tell you about this one tbh, i think it’s pretty obvious why i adore it. It simply tells me that “it’s alright” and “i’m here” and hearing it again and again during sleepless nights and difficult times helps more than yall can imagine. The vocals are just so full of emotion, the screeching during the chorus sounds like a breakdown which is such a genius move and the outro is simply beautiful and gives me chills
October -  is painfully underrated smh, when it’s so haunting and peaceful!! Captures the feeling and vibes of a quiet, nostalgic october day, when it’s getting cold outside and you want to get cozy and warm inside while watching the world slowly changing...
New Normal - oof New Normal is like a punch to the gut, seriously. it’s terrifying, haunting and just gives me a crisis every now and then (no i’m not joking) especially since it’s about the lock down and its effects. The screeching noises in the background, along with “Goodbye to those who cannot join us. Their voices are still heard in every word that we say” and “You've donned yesterday's smile. Decorate your new face (Miss you, I'll miss you)”- AND THAT OUTRO, CHIEF IT HURTS MEEEEEE
Whisper - Whisper is chilling, but in a very familiar, melancholic way and i really don’t know why i like it so much, i just do i guess (sorry i really don’t know why, i just end up going back to it)
The Diverge - Finite Form doesn’t get enough love and it makes me upset, go and listen to it peeps oh my god- The Diverge is pretty close to my heart, it reminds me of old forgotten folks songs. Jack just simply comforts someone over the destruction of their “nest”, that they can find other ways to be together and that everything will be okay and i’m a mess bc of course i am
Pizza Boy - if existential dread and anticipatory anxiety was a song and it slapped (affectionate), probably one of Jack’s saddest and most beautiful songs and the one i listen to the most. Sending good vibes and love to Anthony, life is hard and growing up is scary but you’re never alone. I’m proud of him and everyone and me, for still moving forward
man i need a hug-
