But, the real fun of Wonton Soup is Wor Wonton, aka Everything Wonton soup, with additions of baby corn, slivered carrot, baby bok choy, peas, mushrooms, tofu, cloud ear, and whatever else might be in the fridge. • •'The word Wonton is Cantonese and comes from 'wahn tan,' it translates as 'swallowing clouds,' a reference to how wontons look floating in a bowl of broth.
