"why does adding butter to coffee make you have more energy for longer as opposed to black" you added nutritional value that's why. the human body NEEDS fat, it's why we can survive off of mostly-meat diets way better than meatless (look up rabbit starvation). Fat is fuel, and like most fats, butter provides more than just fat - it has vitamins, protein, electrolytes, cholesterol - regular coffee just doesn't have those things. (and yes, cholesterol IS good for you! Much like everything else, it's all about dosage in relation to your body's individual factors!)
Butter is probably one of the more 'palette friendly' fats you can add to coffee but mind the quality of the butter you add - coconut oil is also very nice in my personal experience. anyway yeah it doesn't give you a crash because you're actually fucking eating something and not just shoving stimulants in your brain to tell it you ate something

the old couple loved pecharunt like their own son because they straight up didnt have any kids
pecharunt being like. a runt. a child. thought "wow this is great lemme get more of this" because it's literally a child with crazy powers who definitely doesn't understand the consequences of its actions yet, poor thing
the old couple didnt tell it to do ANY of that until the mochi and i quote "draw out the greed of anyone who ate them". thats literally what it does.
"they were just like that on the inside" no i dont think so, who DOESNT have greed within them? you are not free from greed. you literally see in the beginning how much they truly loved this lil guy
and you then literally see pecharunt doesnt "make friends" it obtained allies to use through the poison, it LITERALLY says that.
Theres a big BIG emphasis on the chains that are on all three of them !! it's the chains that come OUT of pecharunt!! it's ability isn't "Poison Puppeteer" for no reason. It's signature move isn't MALIGNANT chain for no reason either!!
I mean. Let's look at the other facts about the Loyal three such as the Scarlet Dex entries:
"After all its muscles were stimulated by the toxic chain around its neck, Okidogi transformed and gained a powerful physique."
"The chain is made from toxins that enhance capabilities. It stimulated Munkidori's brain and caused the Pokémon's psychic powers to bloom."
"Fezandipiti owes its beautiful looks and lovely voice to the toxic stimulants emanating from the chain wrapped around its body."
In the in game lore it tells you that they didn't always look like this, and the chains changed them AND, you guessed it, brought out their inner desires. Their greedy desires. So do you see how the old couple literally were never greedy, they didn't demand this as they were under pecharunts influence? there was no abuse??? and they did NOT get its friends killed either!! They didn't even know!!
Look how at the end of the DLC everyone is no longer under the effects and they have no idea how they got there. They only remember the moments before the mochi. So the real kicker isn't "oh how tragic pecharunt was in an abusive family and its friends were killed cus of their greed", oh no the kicker is:
Pecharunt was nothing but a child with an evil power that it clearly didn't know how to use, or didn't even intend for it to be used for such evil. It did what it thought was right, for the love of the only two people that it had known, only for it to lead to it's own downfall and the downfall of three other Pokemon who succumbed to the poison. Furthermore, Pecharunt never came home. Those old couple woke up not having a clue where Pecharunt, the pokemon they loved as a son, had gone off to and they died not knowing (this is an ancient tale after all). Hell, Pecharunt probably doesn't even know they're dead either. Nobody wins.

when shadow is given a gun it's like. his whole tragic backstory is that he lost a loved one to gun violence and he's traumatized from watching her get shot so seeing him running around using realistic guns just feels kinda strange even though it does look cool. when tails is given a gun im like YES !!!!!!!!! 🌜Dijon Part 2🌛- WIP
I was having a really hard time finding a middle ground for Jonathan’s and Dio’s fashion, both seemed to prioritize different things and accent in vastly opposite ways. But turning away from panels for a sec and focusing on official art provided a whole new pool of inspiration!
It was way more fun then on dressing them like a paper doll until I found this kind of in between.
Dijon is their own person most of the time, but they’re the cumulation of a kind of deal passed between two warring enemies stuck in the same body to survive - ever couple of months Dijon becomes ‘mostly Jonathan’ and goes to spend his time with Erina and friends, and they spends the weekends as ‘mostly Dio’. A very precarious balance mostly maintained out of spite, pride and (unfortunately and bafflingly) respect.
#this is literally the result of me not liking that Jonathan dies#so I made an AU where he lives#but it’s also EXTREMELY important to me that Giorno remains the way he is because he’s one of my favs#so I was like ok how the fuck does Dio end up fucking someone with Jojo’s dick anyways#and then the solution was just like#OH why not just have them merge and become one person with way more issues and internal conflict than any known being on planet earth#also it’s fun and that’s MY AU!!#dijon uses they/he depending on how much of a singular side they are that day#also inspired by that one scene where dio goues back together two sides of himself#dijon joestar#jjba#jojo oc#jojos bizarre adventure#jjba oc#dio brando#jonathan joestar#NOT whatever their ship name is called#this is one person made of two ppl#ain’t nothing romantic happening here#except the banging ‘mostly Dio’ gets up to on the weekend I guess#or ‘mostly jojo’s time with his family
