society has ingrained in all of us that bugs are bad and evil and scary and they Bite You for no reason and Sting You For Fun and I would like to challenge every single person that reads this to try to step back and challenge those thoughts. CHALLENGE that knee-jerk reaction to kill every bug you see. REALIZE that killing it doesn't have to be the answer. it's fine to not want bugs in your home. but I see so many people whose FIRST choice is to kill it, even though it'd be easy to just cup it and toss it outside. why?
one of the greatest things that got me over my extremely intense arachnophobia was knowledge. learning more about the thing I was afraid of made me realize, "oh, they're just little guys trying to get by too" and I stopped killing every spider I saw.
and it's like. no, that wasp didn't sting you for fun. it stung you because it felt scared or defensive. no, the spider in your shower isn't trying to kill you. spiders need water to live too.
you don't deem a scared dog/cat evil for biting you, do you? then why are we demonizing insects and spiders for feeling scared? they are so, so small and we are so large. they don't know anything about us, they're just trying to live life. they didn't know they built their web in a bad spot. they didn't know they built their nest next to your door. please, show some kindness to these tiny creatures. I understand you can't let infestations happen or wasps build in your walls, but whenever possible, try to put bugs in a cup and take them outside. yes, even wasps. even black widows. if you want tips for safely capturing bugs, I'm always around to ask.
also, to those who say things like, "x bug eats other pest bug, so they're okay" why? why does something have to benefit you to deserve to live? shouldn't all creatures have a chance at life, even if they're ugly, even if they don't benefit you, even if they do something you don't like? what gives you the right to decide to take the life of any animal just because ahhh it looked scary? please. all I ask is you try to be kinder. it's okay to be scared, it's not okay to pointlessly kill things.

OH. okay so normally i dont touch discourse with a 20 ft pole, but this has been niggling at my brain tonight and i finally realized why
the people who are mad at qbbh for the memory loss and “dodging consequences” dont understand that he doesnt want to dodge consequences. Like they cant know that, they werent focused on him when he was literally feeding himself to the soul vultures and planning his eventual imprisonment and also. The Many Many Many hints he made towards suicide/sacrifice/Just Fucking Dying.
ccbbh is a subtle roleplayer, he’s been building this shit up for two whole months- it was day FIVE of the eggs going missing that he resolved to do whatever it took (hurting his friends) to get the eggs back. It was day three that he followed in dapper’s footsteps and started feeding himself to the soul vultures (and gaining a Massive headwound beneath his hood in the process- you can only see it if you go on namemc and remove the layers). He’s got impaired judgement. Even the memory issues arent a new thing- i cant remember exactly when they started, but one of the first big moments i remmeber was september 30th where he spent an hour falling into a delusional frenzy searching his base for cameras that he forgot he asked aypierre to plant.
The super murder of purgatory and the memory loss afterwards probably all feels very sudden for people who havent been following his story, but as someone who has been- all of this has been true to character. The only cheap swings he’s made have been combat-based in purgatory, and even the motive for those was built up in rp.
People are calling for consequences, but he has alrwady been experiencing self-inflicted consequences for months. The blue on his usual outfit is blood. This recent memory loss isnt a restart to get away with the atrocities - it is yet another consequence of his egg-protecting complexes and the ways he punishes himself for failing them.
he is NOT a moral character. he’s a demon hiding in plain site. he has eaten people. he has killed people. he understands the cruelty of his actions, and the consequences of them for the loved ones of his victims. but it matters when that harm is being done to his loved ones. he’ll still do it, because he will do anything for the eggs, but it matters, and that means that he has already started the process of self-inflicting those much-demanded consequences

Hey y’all! I am once again attempting to help my dad identify an animal he saw on a walk (the last one turned out to be a woodchuck despite him describing it exactly like a pine marten lol)
What kind of duck has a bright red head and a mostly white body? He described it as “bright red where a mallard is green”

i am SAD today because pinhead keeps hissing at fathead (who is normally his best friend)… i think it’s misdirected aggression because he got stung by a wasp a few days ago and fell backwards off a windowsill (he’s fine) and realistically speaking that was probably the scariest thing that has ever happened to him. so i can understand why he’s still wary but also oh my god fathead is so sad. it is breaking my heart how sad he is. i need a third cat just so he has someone to hang out with

You heard about the incident in the Hybrid dorms.
About one of the students picking a fight with each other in some weird dick-measuring contest... you've heard rumors that it was about a girl they liked, though you weren't too sure on that one; all you knew is that the bull boy that was in the fight, barreled through the walls and into one of the student's rooms his face red with rage—trying to fight the fox hybrid who provoked him.
That student was now your current roommate.
A Wasp hybrid who was quiet for his species. As soon as you saw him when the manager of your dorm building opened your door, his eyes seemed to have sparkled and were trained on you.
"Zero will be staying with you until we can get his room fixed. I apologize that we have to push this on you but no other person wanted to take him." The managers that apologetically Zero seem to fidget with that statement.
Zero was not the tallest member of his species and was not the strongest or aggressive than his fellow cousins. Who were very active in the college sports teams. But despite that he still towered over most of his human peers and non wasp hybrid peers.
The hybrid was quiet, only speaking when he needed to. Or to ask you questions. Your roommate was a good listener every time you found yourself either ranting to him or answering his questions spiraling into a long story he would only lean against the wall, nodding his head and humming as you continued. It was nice that he kept his place tidy; you appreciated his willingness to listen to your angry ramblings.
In his eyes, coming from a hybrid that shows to take classes and study in human anatomy, and creature Behavioral Studies, he couldn't stop sneaking little glances at you here and there. His innate curiosity drawing him closer. Though he couldn't bring himself to talk to you it's not that he didn't want to it's just he finds it very hard to talk to people he doesn't quite know.
But one day much to his embarrassment, while he was skimming through one of his textbooks his antennas twitch solely focused on the scratches on your pencil until they ceased. That was when he turned his head to glance at you only for your eyes to meet his for Split Second.
Now you weren't stupid you knew of how often he'd look at you. He was a wasp hybrid, but he didn't seem scary, mainly having just kept doing himself or just happened to be in front of you when the frustrations of a broke college life began to overflow you. And that Split Second Glance was just enough for you to take that chance finally. For everyday casual conversation. "So... Zero, was it?" Zero whom has attention back on the book his there wasn't in his usual ponytail it was down black hair streaming down to his back from the angle you're looking at him and his less human face, it was hard to tell what he was thinking. But despite your anxieties of being the first to start a conversation his just answering relieved you slightly. "Yes?" So many questions to ask your curiosity for this silent mysterious studious hybrid stranger that was now your roommate finally peaked
"Sooo... what are you majoring in?" you ask. And he answers flipping a page in his textbook.
" human anatomy."
" well should be easy now that your roommate is a human." Your ability to crack jokes as a means to defend yourself from social threats should really be in check.
" yes, I suppose you're right... you don't mind if I study you? do you? for work, of course." The way he said that made heat rush to your cheeks. You really don't mean for this talk to be so awkward you don't know why you're acting this way. You were curious about him, and you wanted to talk to him. But now that you were you suddenly have cold feet. "I dont mind."
Zero's mood seem to have lightened a little bit as he puts a bookmark in between the pages but before standing up before you. "good, pictures are nice, but I'd rather have a better representation of where certain human organs and bones are." He rambles to himself as he steps closer until he is face to face, taking your hand and opening your palm before pressing i, gently. it was the first time he touched you like this. " apologies if this is strange, but I always found it fascinating that despite humans and hybrids being so different to, our hands are the same." Zero continued pressing his palm flat against your own. His hand was huge compared to yours, and yours, compared to his, was much softer. His eyes drifted to your face, taking in every tiny feature.
" thank you for taking me in by the way."
You are a big help on Anatomy assignments especially. You were eager to help but you hoped none of your friends walked in your dorm room to see you covered in labels and sticky notes with the names of every bone and muscle in your body. But hey, your roommate passed his test and bought you dinner after that.
You learned that Zero wasn't really into discussing his private life, especially his family colony. The first time you brought it up was when you happened to meet up with him on campus after classes. While the two of you were walking back to your dorm room, you heard voices yell out your roommate's name when you with your heads around to see more wasp hybrids about three of them—trying to get his attention, which Zero was hiding his face and walking faster, as they teased him about finally getting out of his room and getting the sunlight and if you were his new partner. "It's complicated" was all Zero responded to when you asked about his relationship with his colony. He didn't like how his cousin treated him most of the time, but sometimes they do care about their own... Weird way. They did help to get him to college with his other siblings.
The day he fell for you was when you lost it on his cousins when you saw them tear apart the paper that he was working on. You were acting on pure instincts when you smacked one of the wasp hybrids across the face; you are glad that the coach came in to reprimand you before things got really ugly. Zero never really had anyone stand up for him before. Everyone on campus was either too scared of him because of who he was or thought his hyper-fixation of the human body was strange. Zero was never one for confrontation. He was more quiet and analytical, though conniving when the situation benefited him. He just couldn't understand why you helped him. And he got his answer that night when you finally returned from your talk with the principal. He earned his response.
" don't listen to what they say. I may not know many things about you, your family, or the things you study, but I know that you're genuinely talented, extremely smart, and an amazing person. I genuinely like being around you, and seeing them treat you like that was not okay. Sorry for slapping your cousin across the face."

Hey, what do you mean by Perfect Cell? This has so many possible implications. Can he spawn mini hims? Can he fucking absorb people? EXPLODE?! There is a few things this could mean
On reflection, it's actually more of a Piccolo thing, since Perfect Cell has the trait from Piccolo's DNA, just turned up to 11, and Lamarr cannot regenerate from total obliteration the way Cell can.
