i get why you lot like good omens now. and it was exactly what i needed after broachurch s1 which wounded me deeply in my soul. it is lighthearted, and there is a sense of comfort you get when you are like me and refuse to believe anything this lighthearted actually has stakes. which it does, im sure. but its just much easier to ignore them and watch the silly angel and goofy demon do things. and yes i am currently in denial of s2 ending if it wasnt obvious. my headcanon is actually that everything was well and everyone was happy. so look at that, this is such a sweet show. nothing soul crushing here :)

i have come to talk about The Perfect Game(2009). the baseball movie.

first of all to confirm what no one was wondering: no, i hadnt seen the movie before, so that means i didn't regocnise Jake T. Austin from it.

second. the movie made me so happy the fuck? like very obviously the movie called The Perfect Game, is gonna have someone play a perfect game, but I was still so nervous about it!! in a good way! it was so fun to root for the team honestly, the boys were so kind and just,, they were good kids. it made me so happy honestly. and the real photographs of the team in the credits were so nice, they breathed life into me i think. seeing people come together to celebrate makes me so happy. and also the workers unionizing was great.

but yeah.

also Clifton Collins Jr. looks a lot like Joseph Gordon-Levitt. the facial expressions and also kinda his voice remind me of G-L so much.

but also I just had the horrible realisation that he looks a lot more like another actor. and that is Matthew Morrison, also known as Will Schuester. i apologise to Morrison but that face is just so punchable oh my god. and its purely because of how shitty Mr. Schuester is. i wish i could trap Schuester into a dark alley in the dead of night, and no one would hear his screams as i hold him up by his hair and put all my pent up rage and anger into my punches.

and i didnt realise this until i looked up the cast but one of the kids was Tony Revolori, as in spider-man's Flash Thompson?? and also I feel kinda stupid for not recognising him at all when i watched The Grand Budapest Hotel.

oh and coach Cesar was really hot before the haircut + before the church trip. why'd he cut his hair and shave, he looks so naked without the fluff!!
