The Morrish Idol's unusual name was given to it, because in some areas of south-east Asia fishermen have respect for these fishes, releasing them when caught and honouring them with a bow after their release. The genus name Zanclusis derived from zanklon, meaning "sickle", and is an allusion to the long curved dorsal fin.

it’s been... a long time since i last did tumblr bloggy things like talking about myself and not my game over here, so... thank you @yooniesim for tagging me! 💕💕💕

i don’t know if i’ll have enough people to tag back right now, since most of my old simblr friends are either inactive or probably don’t remember me since i’ve been sorta MIA... for about five years now lol but feel free to do it too (and link me so i can read it, i’m rusty and Bad At Tumblr sdfhgkjd)

1. Dogs or Cats? both! i’ve only had dogs so far, though.

2. YouTube celebrities or normal celebrities? man i live for parasocial relationships with youtube celebrities

3. If you could live anywhere where would that be? i’d love to live closer to the sea, some day. or in an island. the possibility of going out for an oceam swim every day fills me with joy, ahahhaha.

4. Disney or DreamWorks? didney is more of a fixture in my life

5. Favorite childhood TV show? difficult one! cartoons were a heavy part of my childhood, but i’d have to say the one that “hit me” the hardest was hey, arnold! i just related so much to arnold as a character (and had a huge crush on helga, haha...), every episode felt so different from everything else i was watching at the time. another nicktoon i really liked at the time was “as told by ginger”, and i was also a huge anime kid. my first favorites were sailor moon and yu yu hakusho, but digimon (adventure and tamers), along with sakura card captors and even dragon ball are among my all time favorites from that time, too.

6. The movie you’re looking forward to most in 2020? is black panther 2 coming out next year?

7. Favorite book you read in 2019? o beijo na parede, by jeferson tenório

8. Marvel or DC? wish i knew more about dc, but yeah, marvel

9. If you choose Marvel favorite member of the X-Men? If you choose DC favorite Justice League member? nightcrawler! and jean grey. i used to like cyclops a lot too as a kid but let’s pretend that never happened lol
