2020 vs. 2022: PROGRESS
(Traditional: Ohuhu Liners/Alcohol Markers. Digital: OC7/PS.)
While the past few years have been a complete shitshow for pretty much everybody, I did manage to find a silver lining in my own life: rekindling my artistic hobbies & re-birthing my creative soul.
The 2020 version was drawn traditionally (good ole' paper, pencils, pens, and markers) and the background/effects were done with Photoshop.
The 2022 version is all digital, using Opencanvas 7 & Photoshop.

New Class 7 is so much more interesting, fun and soulful compared to the original Class 7 it's not even funny. It actually feels like they have opinions and perspectives infomed by their childhood, families and even locale where they grew up in and it's backed up by their dialogues and the way they react to things rather than with OC7 where you can be like "Oh yeah, they knew so and so and grew up in this place with this culture" but it's just not there in the things they say and how they act with other characters.

Challenge 4
MERRY CRISIS!!!
Jk, no crises.......yet. Just a Christmas Eve Ball
Important Stuff First: In the OC, this challenge covers December 15, 2121 - December 28, 2121. Queen Peggy’s extended family begins arriving on the 20th, and the Chadricks arrive on the 23rd.
On the 16th, Princess Ainsley's only son, @spencer-lovett, arrives from Allens for a one-month visit.
OOC, this challenge covers January 30, 2021 - February 13, 2021.
The Christmas Eve Ball takes place on December 24, 2121. It consists of a full meal, dancing (to instrumental Christmas carols), and hopefully just a lot of fun and merriment. The selected have the option of attending a Christmas Eve church service if they want to. This private event is meant for the Royal family and their guests only.
There are no required RPs this challenge. All Side RPs are being done upon request.
There will be ONE (1) elimination at the end of this challenge, accompanied by a ficlet.

Welcome to the Selection OC Net (Part 7)! This network is all about creating our own Selection. Elise (@readwritevibe) and Myriam (@maxericaruleillea) are continuing the OC tradition and have created their own OC Prince (whose information will be announced on December 6th), and associated characters to be the royal family.
Now, you’ll all get to create your own characters and compete for the prince’s hand through challenges and role plays.

Don’t worry, if you’re “eliminated” you can still remain in the net and have fun chatting with us!!
However, given the past Selections, if you would like to submit a second character, please feel free to and make sure to indicate on your second application that she is your second character. This is important for the hosts to know.

Challenge 3
Howdy howdy, and welcome to Challenge 3, yeehaw! Okay, this really isn’t yeehaw... or maybe that’s a fact that’s up to debate 👀
Yep, that’s right! Challenge 3 is debates, moderated by Queen Peggy and Princess Ainsley themselves!
The debates will unfold like this: on December 1st, the girls will find out about the debates, their opponent(s) and their topics, for which they will have 12 days to prepare. On December 13, they will be taken to the studio where the Report is recorded. These debates will be broadcast live across Illéa, like weekly reports are. The day will be divided into two parts - the morning with Ainsley, and the afternoon with Peggy. Ainsley and Peggy's presence is required in order to make sure that debates all stay around the same length, and to maintain order if tensions arise (or simply to keep the debate on track).

OOC this challenge takes place from 16 January 2021 - 30 January 2021. This challenge covers 1 December 2121 - 14 December 2121 in the OC. As mentioned earlier, the girls find out about the debates and their topics on 1 December 2121. The actual debates occur on 13 December 2121. All characters are open for 2 Side RPs each by request during this challenge.
Important note: None of the host characters are allowed to provide help to the selected, whether it be for their research or to practice for the debate. In the OC timeline, side rps can occur both before and after the debate takes place. OOC, we would rather first complete your character's debate before starting a side (meaning if group 1 is done, characters from group 1 can do side rps. We won't wait for all group rps to be completed to allow all sides to start).
