The Heartha Family
After peace is achieved, Lolopechka and Gadjah finally marry and start a family. Their children are Maris, Neave, and Petrus.
..........
Maris Heartha
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Maris' name name comes from Latin and means "of the sea."
Age: 19
Birthday: October 28
Magic Attribute: Water
Appearance: Maris has a darker complexion which gives her a resemblance to her father. Her hair is black and she grows it out long. She only ever styles it when making formal appearances, otherwise leaving it loose. Her eyes are blue like the sea.
Personality: A stern and discerning individual. Maris is very thoughtful when it comes to matters concerning her family and the well-being of Heart Kingdom. She's cautious and dislikes acting before taking time to consider her options. She has trouble relaxing, as she's almost always thinking about taking care of others. Maris has a strong sense of loyalty and duty. Her word is her oath and will see things through to the end, even if her actions were to have negative consequences for her.
As fellow heirs to their respective kingdoms, Maris is familiar with Harmonia Helheim (@lyranova's oc) and believes she has a good head on her shoulders. She considers Libra (oc of a different friend) a good friend and admires her decisiveness and intelligence. She has a slight rivalry with Aecor Silva though it dies down as they get older. Despite the difference in age, Maris is very friendly with Asta and Noelle's children, as Lolopechka and Noelle are good friends.
As the firstborn of the Heartha family, Maris is to become the Queen of Heart. She also inherits a partnership with Undine from Lolopechka.
In great contrast to her mother, Maris' magic developed to specialize in attack spells. Once partnered with Undine, Maris unlocks Saint Stage within a day.
Neave Heartha
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Her name is the anglicized version of the Irish name Niamh which means "bright" or "radiant."
Age: 17
Birthday: May 30
Magic Attribute: Lightning
Appearance: While not as much as Maris, Neave does have a slightly darker complexion compared to her mother and brother. She has black hair which she grows out. In her youth, she wore her hair in high pigtails, much like Lady Noelle. As she grew up, she opted to wear low pigtails instead. Her eyes are bright blue.
Personality: Neave is a girl known for her gentleness. She's open and inviting to most people. Smiling more often than not, she has high hopes for herself and those around her. She chose the path of becoming a diplomat in order to help Heart Kingdom and their neighbors grow closer and help as many people as possible. She's studious as well, with her favorite topics being law and history. "The past has mistakes and virtues from which we can learn," she believes. A deeply sentimental and romantic individual, she loves grand tales of romance and gushes a great deal about her parents' love story. She eagerly joins in on schemes to create romantic situations between people she knows.
Neave's dearest friends include Fleuriana and Cynthia, even though they largely communicate by letter alone. She is dearly beloved by the people of Heart Kingdom and she considers the citizenry as her friends. She develops a romance with Aecor (the reason why Maris' rivalry with him died down) after Aecor helps fight off invaders.
Neave eventually becomes Heart Kingdom's international emissary, meeting in foreign nations on behalf of her sister.
While not true healing magic, Neave learns a spell that utilizes electricity to reinvigorate a target.
Petrus Heartha
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Petrus' name comes from the Ancient Greek word meaning "stone" and is the Latin form of the name Peter.
Age: 14
Birthday: September 16
Magic Attribute: Earth
Appearance: Petrus is fair-skinned like his mother. His hair is black and, much like his father's, isn't easily smoothed down. His eyes are a deep blue.
Personality: A strong-willed boy, Petrus has high aims for himself. Being blessed with his position and power, he wants to use them for the betterment of as many lives as possible. He knows he's not as composed as his older sisters, but he does his best to "pull his weight" in the family. Petrus is scatterbrained which leads to him being a serious klutz like his mother. But he picks himself up easily and doesn't get hung up on his mistakes, thanks to his family's support. Enthusiastic and sociable, he's made a lot of friends/allies among the nobles of Heart and other neighboring countries. While he can come across as a people pleaser, he's no push-over.
Petrus gets along very well with Aimee, Naru, and Filomina. He especially enjoys training alongside Aimee because of her high energy. He finds Chalivas' strict attitude disagreeable but Soleil is someone he likes hanging out with. He tries to be friends with Miku (@lyranova's oc) but finds it hard to connect as she's quiet and withdrawn.
In the future, Petrus is able to become a Spirit Guardian and even forms a pact with the Earth Spirit Gnome.
Often destroys his glasses with his own magic. Earth Magic hits hard and his glasses are fragile unfortunately.

Not!Yuletide Voting
‘Tis the season for not!Yuletide!
This year I decided not to participate in Yuletide. It’s fun, but I’d signed up to another exchange that finished just as yuletide started, and I was ‘making stuff for other people’s sort-of randomly assigned prompts’-ed out for this year. But I like the idea of writings fics for small fandoms, so I decided I’d do not!Yuletide this year. Unlike Yuletide, you get to pick exactly what prompts you do, but it has the same deadlines (roughly), length fandoms rules as Yuletide.
And because I thought it would be fun, I added a twist. I’ve written up 5 different prompts, and you the audience (both my followers and anyone who finds these in the tags) get to pick which prompt I do. Voting is preference voting, so even if your first choice doesn’t get picked, there’s good chance your second or third might. I don’t know why the poll wants your email address, but I’m fairly sure you can put a fake one in there.
The Prompts:
Neave Blacktalon/Angharad Brightshield, Age of Sigmar: She’s an ax wielding assassin. She’s a blacksmith who knows how to beat Sigmar’s foes into shape. Together, they fight crime Chaos! and kiss. ( aka An excuse for AoS femslash, basically.)
Book!Naomi Nagata/TV Series!Naomi Nagata, The Expanse: A portal between universes opens (probably the protomolecule’s fault. Somehow) and Naomi falls through (aka an excuse to ship Naomi with herself)
Bobbie Draper/Naomi Nagata, The Expanse: Mars didn’t realise she lived, and Bobbie ends up being rescued by Team Roci. She and Naomi bond over fixing up her armour. Bobbie might pull a Holden. (aka an excuse for the unlikely ship)
The Merry Band, Warhammer 40000: The Merry Band attempts space piracy. It doesn’t go great. (aka an excuse to write about my fan ocs)
Shiroe & Minori, Log Horizon: Shiroe has no idea how to be a teacher or surrogate father figure, but heck damnit he is going to try. (Most likely ignoring the whole crush plotline, because no.)
The poll is here! Have fun voting!

Some quick Mother's Day thoughts involving my next gen ocs...
Lolopechka with Maris, Neave, and Petrus
Maris spends the most time with Lolopechka as she's the future queen of Heart. Lots of their time is spent with lessons on magic and ruling.
On Mother's Day, Maris and Lolo simply sit down and picnic together. No talk of queenly duties or magic.
Neave gushes about her friends abroad and Lolopechka remarks on them with her memories of befriending Noelle, Mimosa, and Nero.
Petrus and Lolopechka actually have a garden together since Earth and Water Magic work well for growing plants.
Mother's Day is when they pick a bunch of flowers and put together bouquets for the citizens. Petrus always keeps some extra to make fill a vase for Lolopechka.
Dorothy with Winifred
Winifred is Dorothy's adopted daughter. Dorothy never really cared to figure out where Winifred came from and just loves her kid.
On Mother's Day, Dorothy and Winifred play a fun game of tag while using their magic.
Dorothy is the undefeated Magic Tag champion.
Winifred puts on a one-woman play using her Illusion Magic, retelling stories she's heard from Dorothy, but with the worst accuracy possible.
Dorothy has a magic tool to record the performances and she's shared some with her friends.
Dorothy's favorite performance is Winifred's retelling of Nozel and Helia's wedding. It's so inaccurate (in the sense that Winifred depicts it going much more smoothly) that Nozel is frankly offended.
Mereoleona with Leoray
Mereo and Ray go on a hunting trip together!
Ray still can't kill as many beasts as Mereo can but she doesn't get discouraged because Mereo's encouragement is always in her ear.
"You've got more fire than that!" "Knock another one down! You have it in you!" "You've got this! You've got it right!"
Mereo's favorite hunting trip was the year Ray tried to eat raw meat the way Mereo did. And Mereo had to perform the Heimlich since Mereo could use her magic to cook the meat as she swallowed but Ray had no such ability.
Mother's Day is the only day Leoray gets a chance to brush her mom's hair. Mereo is usually fine as it is, but she admits that the hair brushing is a nice way to bond. Even if it doesn't take that long with Mereo's short cut.
Holly (oc) with Eirlys and Ferro
Eirlys and Holly read a book of poems dedicated to motherhood together.
Eirlys's favorite poem from the book describes motherhood like an embrace, warm and inviting and so comfortable. But something that will have to let go eventually.
Holly's favorite poem is a mother's perspective seeing her daughter become different from the mother herself.
Ferro gives Holly ice figurines each year. They become more refined and detailed with each year. Holly keeps all the figures in a magic cabinet so they don't melt.
After many years, Ferro recreates the cake topper used at Holly and Solid's wedding and it becomes Holly's favorite. Solid would see it and wonder where Ferro learned of the cake topper.
Holly thinks Ferro would make for a lovely sculptor if he wasn't so dead set on becoming a Magic Knight like Solid.
Nebra with Skylar and Elana
Once they're old enough, Skylar and Elana research and scout cities throughout the kingdom to take their mom out for a day out on Mother's Day.
They book an appointment with a masseuse. Reserve a spot for lunch or dinner. Find a local play or music performance.
The twins will dote on their momma as thanks for her efforts to raise them as a singe mother (with resources she got as a royal... regardless).
Skylar also presents Nebra with a series of fake suitor profiles. He remembered Nebra trying to date back in the day before deciding to focus on herself and her twins. The fake suitors give Nebra a laugh.
Elana tells Nebra about the crazy Magic Knight missions she hears from working in the Magic Investigation Bureau. Nebra forever claims that Elana still hasn't found a story more interesting than what she's experienced.
Kathline (oc) with Daniel and Jill
Simply put, Daniel and Jill help Kathline chop down trees and cut wood in preparation for Kathline to turn it all into furniture.
Their attributes are well suited to that job after all.
Daniel shows some of his creative flair by using his Steel Magic to make wood carvings (which aren't as good as his metal sculptures).
Jill shows off how many trees she can cut through at once.
"Still not as impressive as your dad carving a new canyon into the landmass," Kathline teases.
Jill goes to bite her mom's head off but is put in her place very quickly.
Ichika with Kai'ichi, Shigehiro, and Moriko
Ichika doesn't expect the kids to do much on Mother's Day. It was a recent cultural trend borrowed from Clover Kingdom.
And usually, the kids don't treat it like anything special. Until the year when Shigehiro is fifteen. The kids come together and present Ichika with a box.
Inside in a beautiful kimono ensemble. Hair accessory, matching fan and parasol, the works.
Apparently, the kids found the photo that Ichika had hidden away which showed her wearing a similar ensemble alongside her husband. Her wedding photo.
The kids wanted her to have something that would make her feel as beautiful as she did when she got married. And remind her of the happiness she felt with her husband.
Ichika didn't shed tears. Not in front of the kids. She hugged them real tight before sending them on their way. And she cried over the kimono on her lonesome.
Finesse with Caelum and Raphael
Because Cal and Raph don't live with Finesse, Mother's Day is basically sacred time with their bio mom.
Caelum will bring his mom a gift basket of all sort of trinkets and goodies that she'd enjoy.
Leaves from far off lands that he's visited. Recipe cards to give to Finesse's kitchen staff. New bookmarks and books to use them with.
I'm gonna say Raphael plays an instrument. Perhaps a harp. And he plays Finesse whatever song he's learned recently.
The boys argue over who gets to brush their mom's hair before the three of them take a stroll through town.
Finesse would tell them that one can brush her hair while the other picks out the hair accessory she wears.
Vanessa with Cynthia
Vanessa wasn't comfortable with Mother's Day at first, given her own maternal relationship.
But she came around to it after all her friends reassured her that it was okay to celebrate her motherhood because she was a good parent.
Cynthia is an artist. She tries every kind of art and craft. So Vanessa has a collection of different crafted items from many Mother's Days (and other occasions).
Vanessa loves each and every gift she's been given. She knows it's not the point, but she feels like she's deservedly earned the things Cynth gives her.
One year, Cynthia held Vanessa's face between her hands, locked eyes with her, and said "you're the best mom I could've ever hoped for. I love the mom that you are for me."
It made Vanessa happy cry for well over an hour.
Charlotte with Saki, Ann, and Kenzou
Saki would of course gift Charlotte a bouquet made from the flowers she grows in her garden/at her flower shop.
She avoids including roses since Charlotte grows the most beautiful roses in the kingdom, according to Saki.
Ann isn't good with physical gifts. She collects memorabilia from her adventures (later missions when she's a MK) and then brings them to Char to tell the stories behind each trinket.
When Ann gets her grimoire, she asks to battle Char each Mother's day so she can improve her magic in hopes that her Briar Magic becomes just as strong as her mom's
Kenzou (once he's grown enough to do so) takes Charlotte on a little mother-son outing.
They go to a cafe and catch up on life events. They go social dancing and Charlotte has to lead Kenzou along since he has two left feet.
Grey with Silver and Clara
Silver and Clara become Grey's happy little helpers on Mother's Day.
Clara asks if there's any nooks and crannies that she can clean for Grey.
Silver carries the bags on a grocery/general shopping run.
He'll help push furniture if Grey wants to rearrange a room. He reaches high shelves for her (even when Grey points out she could transform into someone taller to reach).
When they were younger, they were pretty clumsy and something always broke!
As they grow older, they get better and learn to do more to help. Cleaning the bathroom. Washing dishes. Making breakfast and bringing it to Grey in bed.
Silver isn't as tall or strong as his dad but he'd also carry Grey if she's feeling particularly exhausted.
Noelle with Aimee, Naru, and Filomina
Beach day with Mama Noelle!
Naru is showing off how well he can swim! He's a born natural and the girls joke that Naru isn't just a Water Mage but water itself!
Naru and Noelle like to have swimming races. Naru says that he always lets Mama win because it's Mother's Day. But really, he just can't compete with Noelle's grown up speed.
Aimee and Filomina can swim too, but they like what they can do on the shore a little more.
Aimee builds (very lumpy) sandcastles and Noelle helps with the moat and getting water in there.
She also tries to draw Noelle's portrait in the sand and as ugly as Aimee draws every time, Noelle adores it and says she's never been drawn so beautifully.
Filomina is a beach comber. She finds shells and sea glass and crabs and coins. She brings her spoils to her family and Noelle gets first pick of treasure.
Filomina once tried digging for buries treasure and stumbled upon a sea turtle nest instead. Noelle found it very cute but also helped Filomina hide the nest again to protect the unhatched eggs.
Helia (oc) with Aecor, Fleuriana, Chalivas, and Soleil
While Fleur and Soleil are the main performers of the family, all four kids participate in putting on a special Mother's Day show.
Soleil plans everything out, given he's always been fascinated by showmanship. Their older siblings follow his lead.
Fleur likes to improvise, to her siblings' frustration and Helia's delight.
Chalivas tends to steal the show, using his Mercury Magic to make mercury puppets to convey a story more easily.
The siblings' attributes synergize well and as much as they argue at times, they always put on a successful performance on Mother's Day.
Helia runs up to her babies and kisses them all over their faces. She's so proud and every year exclaims that the current year's show was the best.
Josele (oc) with Sterling, Dawn, Dusk, Sirius, Merel, and Vivian
Sterling does a divination session for Josele as a Mother's Day gift. Thanks to Josele's life becoming more stable later in life, Sterling's divinations mostly reaffirm the happy and peaceful life Josele has achieved.
Sterling has also used her Remnant Magic to help Josele recover some memories that she lost or became faded over time.
Dawn and Dusk put their musical skills together to perform a song for Josele.
One year, Dawn wanted to perform the love song that Nacht tends to sing to Josele only for Dusk to scold her and say that stays between their parents.
Sirius, once he has his grimoire and is better trained in his magic, brings Josele into his Dreamscape spell and lets her spend a bit of time with a Dream Magic recreation of Morgen.
Sirius disappears into the edges of his spell and lets his mother have a moment. He feels conflicted about it but still does it because Josele looks so renewed when it happens.
Merel and Josele tend to go on nature hikes, picking wild flowers and foraging for wild fruits and greens.
Vivian returns home from her far off journeys for Mother's Day and recounts her adventures to Josele. Vivian also shows Josele her new spells, the emotions and elements that have become connected to her.
The day concludes with Josele and the children all working together to make a grand feast.
Josele with Albert, Varg, Iris, Valerian, Friedrich, Sable, Blanche, and Isolde (AU)
Similar to Silver and Grey, the Morgsele kids are extra helpful on Mother's Day. Josele deserves to take it easy one day after spending the majority of her days raising eight children.
Albert leads the team and is the one to assign each sibling their tasks of the day.
Albert tends to give himself the task of bringing Josele breakfast in bed. He is the best cook of the siblings and he wants mom's day to start well. This means he also oversees lunch and dinner.
Once Varg tried to lock Josele in her room so she couldn't even try to be something other than relax. I say "try" because Josele kicked down the door to get out.
Varg is usually stuck with dusting down the house because his attitude makes it hard for his siblings to trust him with other tasks.
Iris has the best taste in gifts and so he is the one to procure a physical gift. His gifts have ranged from a personally compiled book of poems and short stories about mothers to a magnificent painted portrait depicting Josele in a heroic pose.
Valerian goes to get Josele's weapons tuned up at her preferred shop. And he's the one to do the grocery run for lunch and dinner.
Friedrich has an eye for aesthetics so he refreshes decorations around the house. New flowers are put in vases. Curtains and tablecloths and curtains are changed out. He even moves around any statuettes or paintings to keep the interior looking a little fresh.
Sable polishes every possible surface in the household. From the windows to stone surfaces to varnished wood. She brings everything to a shine.
Blanche is the team's time manager while also doing the more undesirable cleaning, like the bathroom, and trash collecting. Heaven forbid she actually touch anything though. She uses appendages made of magic to handle most of it.
Isolde, as the baby of the family, doesn't get to do much at first. At first, she has to tag along with someone else and help them. But when she picks up sewing, she takes up the task of mending clothes in addition to doing laundry.
Josele gets to sit down with each kid at some point throughout the day to chat with them about what's going on in their lives. She wants to hear all about what her kids are up to after all, and give any advice that they might need.

Meet the Trans Woman Running for Pete Sessions’ Seat in Congress
The election of Donald Trump has brought out a great many people interested in trying to take the country back from the Republicans starting in the 2018 mid-term elections. They’ll need all the help they can get as here in Texas the Democrats have a rather deplorable history of turning up at the polls when there’s no president on the ballot. One of the hopefuls is Danielle J Pellett, who will be challenging Pete Sessions of Texas’ 32nd District. We sat down with her on opposite sides of the Internet to get to know the woman who would unseat Sessions, who is well-known as a tough opponent.
Free Press Houston: What made you decide to run for Congress?
Danielle J Pellett: For far too long, I have been standing in a voting booth and my options were simply a Republican or Libertarian. I wondered where the Democrats were running for office. I kept thinking “someone should do something about that.” This past year, I finally decided that I needed to be the person who stood up to do something about it.
FPH: More specifically, are you opposing Pete Sessions because of anything he specifically stands for or just because of the direction the Republican Party has taken?
Pellett: As a former conservative, I disagree with the direction that their party has taken. Most notably, some of Sessions’ votes betray core conservative Republican values: shutting down the government repeatedly, refusing to get clean water to Flint, and opposing a raise to minimum wage to get families off of food stamps. We should be fiscally responsible and stop subsidizing Big Oil and make Wall Street answer to why we had to bail them out in 2008.
FPH: You’ve talked about growing up with Republican/Libertarian ideals, and rather than throwing those by the wayside you feel that some aspects of that simply feel more at home in the Democratic Party than in the GOP. What of your original stances do you find mesh the best with the DNC?
Pellett: I believe in a small government, which means not getting involved in family matters like they did with Terri Schaivo, or overturning the fracking ban they did in Denton. When I was young, I was on the Federal free lunch system and at one point we were on food stamps in order to make ends meet. My parents were not lazy, and their hard-working ethic put the lie to the welfare queen narrative. Despite what Paul Ryan says, those meals didn’t leave me with an empty soul. It fed a child and made them able to study and succeed in life.
What feels like a lifetime ago, I wound up not going to OCS [Officer Candidate School] and getting a commission with the Air Force due to the Air Force core value of Integrity first because of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell. As I studied the oath of office and realized that to protect the Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic, they were some horrific domestic policies that need to change.
We were firing gay military translators as we invaded Iraq and Afghanistan, while not putting those wars in the budget and kept asking for “emergency funding” as if it were a surprise that we were still there. We’re supposed to support our troops, but where was the support there?
Finally, I believe in provable facts over political dogma. Pollution is bad, and climate change is real. Drug testing is more expensive to the government than welfare is, and poor people can’t afford drugs. It’s even cheaper to rehabilitate addicts rather than locking them up in jail.
FPH: You credit Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) with a political awakening in 2001. What about Sen. Sanders’ and your own ideology would be most beneficial to Texans?
Pellett: Bernie Sanders has always been an independent who refuses to be bought out. He likes to tell it as it is, and refuses to let others get away with selling lies such as “Clean Coal” or that massive corporations just like to donate thousands of dollars to candidates and expect nothing in return.
His speech at Liberty University reminds us of our Texas values of working hard and paying our fair share. So when I see the ultra-rich getting away with squirreling away their money in illegal overseas tax shelters, I know that they are not paying their fair share. Instead, they are paying politicians to distract us with these supposed culture wars over abortion, gay marriage, and which bathroom we can pee in.
We used to have our roads and bridges paid for by tax dollars, now you see toll roads being built all over the place. We even have toll roads that are paid off that are still getting government subsidies while the companies that maintain them are collecting toll money.
FPH: Why do you think so many Representatives end up running unopposed?
Pellett: Just like doing taxes, a lot of things are designed look harder in order to make people feel like they are unable to comprehend or do it. We also have rampant gerrymandering that makes districts nearly impossible to win.
My district right now vaguely looks like a donkey. This was done with regard to the historically low voter turnout in Garland. Due to the tenacity of Victoria Neave and her get-out-the-vote efforts, she won in a district that everyone had assumed was impossible.
FPH: Texas, particularly Dallas and Houston, is a place where large corporations hold significant sway, and provide a living for many, many people and their families. Is your message in opposition to them, or is there a place where people and corporations come together for the greater good?
Pellett: The economy has been faltering for the past decade. For anyone who has ever played Monopoly, you realize that income inequality will ruin people. Once we have a winner in Monopoly, the game comes to an end. But how does that work in real life?
If a few corporations have all the money and all the resources while the majority of the middle and worker class doesn’t have enough money to make ends meet… then these corporations are now unable to sell their wares to the public. In short, who will be left to buy stuff when everyone is barely scrounging by to have shelter and food?
So what I would say to business interests is this: you have to look at a five-year profit plan rather than just the next quarter. In the short run, shutting down your factories and sending jobs overseas for lower pay seems to do great, but this has happened on a macro scale and has ruined Michigan.
For the greater good, businesses must want to increase their pay to match inflation. Businesses must realize that government should work as a check and balance in order to protect the people. We must remember the lessons from the Deepwater Horizon, West Texas, and the Magnablend plant in Waxahachie that prove we must have and enforce regulations for the safety of the people.
There has to be a balance between helping businesses thrive and making certain that we don’t have poisonous chemicals in our water like they had in Corpus Christi.
FPH: If you had to pick one issue that was most dire in need of addressing in Texas, what would it be and how would you address it?
Pellett: Education is the linchpin for all of this. We need to teach science without religious bias, we need to teach history without politically-motivated revisionism, and we need to fully explain where babies come from and how to avoid that in order to reduce our teen pregnancy rate.
FPH: Do you anticipate support from the DNC in your candidacy?
Pellett: I expect that the DNC will support me once I win the primary. I have already reached out to multiple candidate sponsorship programs and political action committees that are dedicated to promoting science and Progressive values that will not cost me my morals and ethics.
There is a way to work from within the system where you can get $27 donations from regular people and you do not have to rely on the backing of the fracking industry in order to compete in a political race.
FPH: What do you think will be the biggest challenge in your race?
Pellett: I’m up against one of the most powerful people in the Texas Republican Party, who is well known and is instrumental in getting lots of money from wealthy out-of-state donors and from political action committees. In the past two years, Pete Sessions has raised over $2 million. Only 1 percent of that came from small dollar donations, so we know exactly who he answers to.
All I can hope to do is call him out on this while proving that I am the better candidate that understands the values of Texans today and for our next generation.
FPH: You’re one of a number of trans women nationwide I know are running for office in 2018, including some prominent ones like Brianna Wu. What empowers you the most against the almost-inevitable transphobic backlash?
Pellett: I’m not running because I’m transgender, I’m running because I believe in helping middle and working-class Texans. I just happened to be transgender, and I honestly expect more push back from the fact that I’m an ex-conservative and I know how they think, how they speak, and I know how to destroy their talking points.
FPH: Being the biased, lamestream media, I probably fucked some of this up, so here’s a small bit where you can say anything you want.
Pellett: My mother, Maria del Rosario, was born with cerebral palsy. It was misdiagnosed as polio when she grew up, and she had the Forrest Gump leg braces and walked with a noticeable limp. She was told all her life that she was an invalid and a cripple, and she couldn’t do the same things that her sisters could.
Naturally, she went ahead and did the thing anyways. She defied my grandfather by walking to Mass every morning before going to Catholic School. She defied my grandfather by going to college and getting a degree in teaching English as a second language to special-needs students.
She defied her family by falling in love with and marrying a gringo, my father David Ellsworth. Her doctor said it would be impossible for her to have a child. I am the product of one stubborn Latina and the man who supported her.
When I started supporting Bernie Sanders at the Texas Democratic Party and wanted to engage in direct democracy through a petition process at the State Convention, everyone told me it was impossible. I defied the naysayers and did three of them.

Erika's Next Generation OCs
So I've been having brainrot about next gen ocs. This is partially thanks to @lyranova's Children of the Future series. But also I like to imagine the BC characters having a happy and stable future where building families is possible.
I've shared about the future Nacht x Josele and Nozel x Helia children before but i've got more to share.
I haven't been thinking about the next gen for too long so details are sparse but I hope to build upon the foundations as time goes on. (Maybe if my school work lightens up...)
The children are grouped up by family.
The Faust Family (parents Nacht Faust and Josele Canty [oc]): Sterling, Dawn, Dusk, Sirius, Merel, and Vivian
The Roulacase Family (parents Finral Roulacase and Finesse Calmreich): Caelum and Rapahel
The Adlai Family (parents Gauche Adlai and Grey): Silver and Clara
The Yami Family, Part 1 (parents Yami Sukehiro and Charlotte Roselei): Saki, Ann, and Kenzou
The Yami Family, Part 2 (parents Yami Ichika and ???): Kai'ichi and Shigehiro
The Enoteca Family (parents Vanessa Enoteca and Selen Nymvire [oc]): Cynthia
The Voltia-Swing Family (parents Luck Voltia and Magna Swing): Jesse
The Silva Family, Part 1 (parents Nozel Silva and Helia Nymvire [oc]): Aecor, Fleuriana, Chalivas, and Soleil
The Silva Family, Part 2 (parents Nebra Silva and ???): Skylar and Elana
The Silva Family, Part 3 (parents Solid Silva and Holly Whitmore [oc]): Eirlys and Ferro
The Silva Family, Part 4 (parents Asta and Noelle Silva): Aimee, Naru, and Filomina
The elves (parent Patry): Avery, Elfrieda, and Alfred
The Cresswell Family (parents Jack the Ripper and Kathline Cresswell [oc]): Daniel and Jill
