OC Zine accepting submissions!
Hello! I am hosting a little zine with the theme that puts our very own lovely stories and OCs at the center :)
Submission forms for your entries will open March 16th, submission deadline is May 15th 11:59 PM [EST] There is no approval step, everyone will make it in!
Theme – Worlds in Progress
This particular zine is dedicated to stories and settings that are yet to be finished [or that are indeed intended to be perpetually added to] and the work that goes into them!
The zine will take entries of some art and accompanying text about some specific focused element of your story or setting!
This will be a free, digitally distributed zine, though formatted in a way that you’d be able to print your own copy if you’d like :)

We got three different Queer OC Zine bundles to chose from ranging from 5€ to 25€. Over 60 pages of OC goodness by over 40 different artists. 👀
All proceeds will be donated to our charity of choice queerbasevienna as well as go towards a free copy of the zine for all our contributors (given we reach a high enough number of pre-orders).

FREEFALL is my contribution to the Worm OC Fanzine run by @parahumanzine with art by @artistatthedisco
Make sure to check out the full size art, because it has *details* and I should be locked up for the crime of reducing it to a teeny tiny thing in the corner. Seriously, @artistatthedisco did a great job on very little notice.
Freefall has been knocking around in my head for a while now, and it was lovely to exorcise them onto paper. Antigravity is fun, and so is imagining deeply traumatised people who may or may not be doing their best!

oc zine looking for artists!

hello friends!!! i'm in the process of putting together pals for DEAD OR ALIVE, which is going to be a digital zine featuring wanted posters of ocs!!! design a wanted poster for whichever oc brings you joy and/or is a nasty terrible criminal, and we're going to compile them all into a digital zine free to download!
despite being free, the zine will be posted with a suggested donation link encouraging folks who enjoy it to donate to The Bail Project, which posts bail for low-income folks while also fighting against the structure of the u.s.'s "justice" system. we're hoping to have small digital merch options in exchange for donations, too.
the zine will be completely digital, but with an option for contributors to get a physical zine at the end at-cost—we'll manufacture some books and everyone who wants one will split the cost of doing so evenly, and you'll pay shipping from massachusetts in the u.s.. the books probably won't be more than like $10 a pop if EVEN, but shipping can get PRICEY internationally, so keep that in mind!!
but!!! you don't have to commit to that just yet!!!!! YOU just have to worry about GETTING IN THE ZINE!!!! i'm not doing a formal applications process due to the kind of casual nature of this. please send me an ask with some of your art (you can't put links in ask but you can replace the periods with exclamation points OR just tell me your art blog) and i'll get you the discord we're organizing in!!! you do NOT have to pick an oc right away; i just want some samples of your art.
particularly encouraged to apply include folks with non-basic-humanoid ocs (object heads, furries, monsters of all sorts, etc.)! also, because money is not exchanging hands in this zine unless you get a physical copy, this zine is open to minors who are comfortable being in a mixed-age space!
recruitment is open uhhhhhhh until i say it isn't any more, but pieces aren't due 'til the end of february so there's time!!!!
