Y/N and Rafe were seated across from each other in a warm and inviting coffee shop. Their faces showed signs of frustration as their argument had escalated rapidly, filling the air with their raised voices.

"I'm finding it hard to believe that you went out with your friends without informing me beforehand. It feels like you don't take our plans seriously." I stated, eyeing the boy in front of me.

"That's not the point, Rafe!" I exclaimed, shaking my head in frustration. "We had a conversation about spending the evening together, and it feels like you completely disregarded our plans!"

Rafe's expression turned defensive. "I understand that you're upset, but I can't be at your beck and call all the time," he argued, as if my words hadn't quite gotten through to him.

I paused for a moment, gathering my thoughts. It was important for both of us to have a clear understanding of each other's perspectives. "I'm not asking you to be at my beck and call," I explained calmly. "But when we make plans, it's important to communicate and respect them. It's about showing consideration and valuing our time together."

Rafe looked contemplative, his frustration subsiding slightly. "I guess I didn't realize how important it was to you," he admitted with a hint of remorse.

Taking a deep breath, I continued, "It's not about that, It's about communication and respect."

"Well, maybe you should learn to be more flexible and understanding!" Rafe retorted, rolling his eyes in exasperation.

Their voices grew louder, and the intensity of their emotions seemed to fill the air. People around them couldn't help but steal glances, but Y/N and Rafe were too engrossed in the heat of the moment to notice.

Caught up in the intensity of the argument, I blurted out, "I can't be with someone who doesn't prioritize our relationship!" The weight of my words hung in the air as a heavy silence settled between us, thick with tension.

Realizing the impact of my statement, I took a deep breath and looked into Rafe's eyes. "I didn't mean that," I whispered, my voice filled with regret. "I'm sorry, Rafe.“

Rafe's gaze softened, his initial defensiveness giving way to a hint of understanding. "I’m sorry too," he exhaled with a sigh.

They extended their hands across the table, their palms meeting in a symbol of reconciliation.

Rafe gently whispered, his lips grazing the back of my hand, "I love you."

"I love you too, Rafey," I responded tenderly.
