Turmeric tea - ¼ tsp turmeric powder, ¼ tsp ground ginger, 1 cup water. Bring to a boil and then simmer for 10 min. If you have a fine mesh strainer, run it through that and into a mug. Squeeze some lemon and add honey. Miracle tea.

That sounds perfect. I have a turmeric ginger tea (tea bag tea) that is quite good but I’m sure this is stronger. I will have to buy some turmeric tomorrow. Thanks! 

I've been considering a Bates Motel rewatch lately...have you done that yet? Also, have you ever tried Soapie Shoppe's bathbombs? I used to think Lush were my favorites, but don't know...Soapie Shoppe's are pretty amazing.

i did a rewatch right after the series ended, but couldn’t finish season 4 one and didn’t even approach season 5... its just too depressing from that point on. but maybe someday i’ll rewatch the rest.

I - Arguments.

Leslie and Ben rarely have big arguments, but when they do, it’s bad. Usually after a couple of minutes of shouting, Ben will say he needs to cool off, which, ironically, will result in him usually shutting himself in the bathroom and having a scalding hot bath (something he did a lot when he and Leslie weren’t together.) Leslie’s usually pretty stubborn, but when Ben does this she knows she’s gone too far, and will knock on the door after Ben’s been in the bath for thirty minutes and apologise. He’ll say sorry too, and then Leslie will get in the bath with him, and all will be forgotten.

Q - Nightmares.

Leslie had a lot of nightmares when she was pregnant, and they usually involved mutant vegetables taking over the world. They’d be so vivid that she’d move around in her sleep and, on more than one occasion, would accidentally hit Ben in the face. He’d have to wake her up and tell her it was all a dream.

In the morning, Leslie would always crave the vegetable she dreamt about.

omg - I made the best soup last night: chard, onion, garlic, stewed tomatoes, artichoke hearts, beef stock, and some balsamic vinegar. With a little olive oil and Parmesan on top.

Today for lunch, a little seared flank steak instead of the cheese - so awesome.

i have no fuckin idea. there are too many like, aesthetics i like, so nothing about me is cohesive. at the most basic, i’m just a tshirt and jeans person. i’m into jewelry lately? like necklaces with crystals. “witchy” is an aesthetic i would love to have but can’t commit to, so sometimes its just little bits. sometimes i love pastels and florals. right now my favorite shirt is this dark yellow plaid button up from target? i have no idea.

would you rather visit a zoo or an aquarium?      

i do honestly love both, but zoos are like, very special for me. i just really love animals. i could watch monkeys for HOURS. or bears. or fuckin birds. i just really love watching animals. and i do love aquariums, because fish are beautiful and i find them just calming spaces. but i guess i’m just in aquariums less often. also, to some degree, i find the ocean terrifying.  but usually what i find scary is not in aquariums lol.

9 - What movies would they cry at?

Other than Ben’s claymation.  The first film Ben ever cried at was ET. He was alone in his room watching it and locked the door so that Henry wouldn’t see him crying. He also cried at Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. But that was just crying over how terrible it was.

Leslie cries at most sad films. But one film that always gets her is The Wizard of Oz. It makes her cry so much that Ben’s had to ban her from watching it. 

11 - Do you think they would be good roommates?

With me? I feel like me and Leslie would not be good roommates. Partly because I’m kind of messy, and we all know she likes to hoard. So I’d say if we lived together we’d both be dead in a week.

Ben I’d say would be a good roommate. Since I’m pretty sure he’s a carbon copy of my boyfriend I think that we’d get along well!
