made up a group of edwardian-era hockey girls, Heavily inspired by the many wintery late 19th/early 20th century photos i processed in an archive over the summer. at some point, i decided their team would be called "the hail raisers".

i would truly like to thank my brain for latching onto miss katya because it has inspired so many more familial convos and interest than taylor ever has. and i think that's beautiful (not to pit two successful women against each other but)

as of today, if i wanna see a post with filtered tags (bc occasionally i do peek depending on the tag and why im filtering it) and im on mobile

it won't show me the post in the app anymore. i click to see it and it opens it in firefox, but logs me out in the process which means it then won't let me view the post anyway

i hate it, and i want it changed back.

round one of impulse decluttering my closet finished. turns out i have a lot of really cool clothes i kind of haven’t worn because i had not yet adapted my new (and favorite) mentality of “you don’t need an occasion to dress fancy you can just wear whatever the fuck you want always, actually” (something that my girlfriend taught me but i won’t mention to her because sappy but. <3)

devastatingly though i have a lot of clothes that are kind of fucking ugly but my mother has informed me are “practical”. which. is like, literally so true mother (i got her to say ‘so true’ btw). but like. :((((

she has agreed that we should go out and buy me short skirts though (with her modesty parameters which i accept in this case) which is kind of a massive win for me. i might wanna buy clothes with my friends too but at this point i think i’m only going to buy what i (1) REALLY love and think i will wear Frequently or (2) something that is needed as a vacancy or (3) something that i need in order to get another piece of clothing to match (like i have some brightly colored clothes that necessitate other plain brightly colored clothes to match)

but yeah :D

#i was trying to figure out why i wasn't super excited about the goncharov thing in the first couple days #(other than memes needing a bit of time to sink in for me/lack of mental energy)#bc normally this kinda tumblr thing is TOTALLY MY SHIT #but i think it's at least partly bc i'm the type that likes to know what's going on!!! all the time!#i wanna know what references are based on and what everyone's talking about etc #so when i saw the shoe pic make the rounds before i'd be like 'but what is that movie??? why did they put it on a clothing tag?'#i wanted to know. i think i Wanted the movie to be real #so when i saw everybody just pretending the movie was real part of me was remembering all those times i felt like i was missing #out on some info and part of me was going 'wait why are we doing this *now*'#but i've gotten to process everything going on on tumble i think and now i'm into it #or. i will be more fully into it. once i get done with work and everything today
