I finally know why I feel iffy looking at the S3 manhwa cover for LCF. Its because all my life of reading the movel, I envision Cale as a fucking twink because he's thin because he coughs blood on almost a daily basis. Seeing his fingers so thick, and seeing just him so buff has made feel so wrong LOL XD. Cale being thin has actually changed me perception of him so much. Anw, atlesst he's healthy according to Super Rock XD

Ughhhh, and Dokja once again thinking that it should have been him to sacrifice himself. Dokja, you have such a "sacrificing yourself for other people" thing going on, and I know that cannot be healthy mindset as noble as it may be.

Not that Joonghyuk's plan was stellar in comparison. Joonghyuk, my guy, you are hundreds of years old and Dokja is like...thirty. And completely and utterly softhearted. As you well know. I love horror games they are high key a core part of my existence and artistic inspiration. And as such it does mean I an unsettled by werid things not really average stuff. It's kind of hard to be scared of many normal things working customer service and also having the habit of breaking stuff down cause Ohoho lore moment.

Grotesque doesn't mean scary, features or startlement doesn't equate to scary. It's association for one person a thing can be terrifying while another well boring.

It's I think a reason why Japanese visual horror novels work so well is that they don't rely on purely apperence of things to make someone scared. There's more to it. It's not just jumpscares but a slow or quick imposing dread and stakes placed and given to you the player. That being said that is probably the reason beside ohoho story and design that I adore Shiin/Death mark. Yep always comes back to this series.

Like I do not equate scary monsters with fear but the designs and love of details and story written and designed is a bit to good that I have to make sure to not be in a can have psychosis go nuts cause the game is a bit to good at design my brain goes ah here let's do this in real life. There's a level of skill to making designs so fearful that they stick in your brain long after you play a game. It has to stand out and man Death Mark actually nails that.

I might be using the wrong websites to look at the public libraries near me but I know there's at least one copy of Nimona but someone has it checked out, but I don't have a library card for that place. I only have one card and it works for one library, and that's like half an hour away from where I live.

It's not too bad but y'know it's more two two buses and a train to get there, that's the actual annoyance.

Thank you!! As soon as I saw that book on the shelf my brain just went all whited out with happiness like!! Yes!! The day is finally here!! I've wanted the official illustrated twilight saga guide for a while, but my local bookstore hasn't had it and I didn't wanna order a new copy because I'm not the biggest fan of the new/current covers.

Maybe these (linked) are someone's preference, but not mine! And the bookstore does let people place orders for books they don't have, but if I'd done that it would've had the new, less appealing cover design.

However...the bookstore is a new and used bookstore! Which means that people can donate books they own and don't want anymore, and then people can buy those at a cheaper price! So I've just been waiting for the day when someone donated their old illustrated guide so I could get it...and that day was today!!

I went to the bookstore to pick up a bunch of books for this other series I really love and got an extra bonus on top of that!! Day made!! This is excellent because I was kinda in a not-quite-stressed but also not at ease mode because I've got a bit of homework due on Sunday I gotta get through (more than usual), but I am no longer worried!

But yeah, your frame of reference seems about right! This is a special interest thing I've really wanted for a while and now I've got it! So I'm ecstatic! Stimming about it as I type, actually!

And I'm glad you feel the same way!! I see you as a very valued and cherished friend and love talking to you! And helping when I can with whatever I can! We are in agreement and are buddies! Knowing we're on the same page here is like. Like if a fist pump was an emotion, if that makes sense. I don't know how else to describe it that's what it is!
