The skinny goat has been christened Genie Goaty McGoat Face! Her saviors are Joan Gibbons and Izzy Brooke!🥰 She’s eating very well on her own now, chewing cud, and passing more normal looking stools. She’s still too weak to stand so we are rotating her from hip to hip 3-4 times daily, standing her in a sling, and massaging her legs. Iceland 2016 Retrospective - day 11 We continued along the Ring road up into the mountains along the Eastern coast and then on to the Hùsey ranch. Here Marta finally got her wish to ride an Icelandic horse. Taking in the nature of the north east coastline of Iceland by horse is breathtaking. The weather that day was moody which only added to the starkness of the land and the power of the oceans. We also got checked out by the local seal and saw an amazing array of birds. So 3 days ago….we were brought a nearly dead goat. She (I thought I was a he but he is a she🤣) was stuck under a house? Not sure 🤷‍♀️ Emaciated, unable to stand, liquid stool, refusing to eat or drink. We are happy to say after 3 days of intensive care including fluids, medications, and force feeding that today she was eating and drinking on her own! Still unable to stand but she’s sitting up on her own. And Minky loves her 🥰 Sooo anyone want to help us buy her?
