So! It's the time for some personal art!

Me and a bunch of Rise fans got together and just had fun with our Turtle Kinsonas. And it's been a year since we started that little journey of ours.

Each and every one of them is so different, so charming in their own way, just like the people who made them. Through the year, these are people I have cherished and smiled daily because of them. Every time we'd draw something for these little guys, or write stories, angst or fluff- it didn't matter. Talking hours on end, waking up to 1000+ messages just with ideas- It was an absolute highlight of the year and a feeling I will take with me for the rest of my life I think. Even if our hype has died down a little, we are still here for each other, and draw these folks to show affection. Through a hard time in my life, they were a guiding star on my journey in just- in life. At a point where I was scared I'd lost a lot of things that matter to me- They showed up, and gave me hope that no matter what, I'll find people. People who will be there for me, who I can love, who I can laugh with and smile at the simple truth that they are out there living, breathing, and that I know them. Thank you all for being here with me. No matter what, I will always remember this, and I hope that lets you rest easy.

Words can't do justice to the admiration and love I hold, but I hope images can.

this is just a general appreciation post for all of you that i’ve crossed paths with in the last few months on here. i’m new to actively posting & writing on tumblr, (literally like fresh out the womb, i just started learning the ropes about 5-6 months ago after dipping at around 16, tho i’ve lurked on and off over the last two years lmao) but i’ve been in the pedro fandom for almost three years now and the tlou fandom on and off for a bit longer. some of you i met over on twitter and then we kinda bumped into one another over here and some of you i’ve only just met on this app but the amount of time doesn’t really matter to me. you’ve all been so lovely, warm, kind and supportive and i’m forever grateful for that.

i think the most wonderful thing about death shroud (besides the whole charity part) is that its given the fandom something new to all be excited about together. we dont really get that very often.

I don't know if you'll ever see this, but i just binge reblogged almost your whole tumblr and i thought i should leave a little something before i go again. I already came and went, seeing your art around so many times that it didn't feel right to just close the door behind me once more. I've followed you around ever since i was 11 years old, from Deviantart and across the internet. I'm 24 now. Your art inspired me to draw. There were times when i forgort about your art and was suddenly reunited with it again through pinterest, through tumblr, through a post on Twitter and went "oh it's CanisAlbus again!" You may never know me. We may never talk or get to know each other, but isn't it so amazing that even without knowing, something so simple as a guy sketching silly dogs on the internet can influence other people's lifes across the globe? Never doubt yourself.

Thank you for taking the time to leave me a little note, I'm very moved by your words! It's always very sobering to hear that you or your creations have been a significant part of someone's life. I guess I've been posting art for a long-ish time now so it shouldn't be that big of a surprise that there are people that have known my work for a good while, but it's still hard to conceptualize.

What's your favourite saiki headcannon / fun fact?

im not really a headcannons person (i am not very creative unfortunately T_T) but i a head canon i have is that if (hopefully its more of a when for me at least) he reveals his powers he takes his friends cool places that he wouldnt otherwise like in space and stuff.(letting kaido live out his chunnibiyou dreams lol) i just think it'd be neat ya know? I'm not sure how his powers would make it work out but i think it'd be fun for them to go on sci-fi field trips and stuff

I also think that if he ever did decide to do a power reveal about it too i think he'd have the psy kickers help him out too. Before he was all alone and didnt have anyone else to talk to about his powers (besides his family). and its just like hey you dont have to do this alone? you dont have to be so worried about it? because they already know and try not to make a big deal of it so its like oh yeah. and of course the guys that dont know accept him for that but i think the fact that he has other people supporting him to make that decision is just. really important to me ya know?

Even as the person who has been living and breathing this series and only this series for six straight weeks, I could never have imagined how much other people would come to enjoy it. It’s only really just starting to hit me that the series has ended, which is silly as the person who wrote and posted the conclusion, but emotions in this corner of the internet void are high here, so I’m sorry if this response is like, WAY sappier than you were anticipating.

This universe, and the iterations of Alex and Henry within it, are so tangled up in the vessels of my heart-that the fact the story has resonated with you and stuck with you means so incredibly much to me. I never expected it to reach the audience that it has, or for it to have inspired all the lovely things that people have had to say about it. I’ve loved all the comments and encouragement you’ve left me along the way, so thank you for that 🤍

(I did reply to your comment on The First and the Last, I’m still making my way through all of them, but words have been harder than usual because of the aforementioned high emotions, so it’s a work in progress.)

oh man. i picked up the sidestory to @just-a-carrot's five-arc horror epic a couple days ago and i'm so glad i did. i'll probably be talking nonstop and/or drawing about it for days
