Do you think that Laura and Marisha are deliberately making their relationship somewhat toxic and unsustainable or do you think they see the relationship as healthy? It is just so different from all of the other relationships they have been a part of and not really in a good way. Would love to get your perspective on it if you have one

I am honestly unsure. I would like to say it's deliberate. Prior to it becoming canon, in fact, I, and a lot of other people who were less than enthused by Imogen and Laudna's romance and weren't entirely sold from the start, made the case that we expected they would be talking to each other and would put together a compelling story, not the dull fluff so common in fanon. While whether it's compelling is a subjective judgment, we know for a fact they didn't talk to each other. We know for a fact Marisha was surprised by the question of "Can I kiss you," and Laura was surprised by the answer. We know from a 4SD not long after (4SD #16, Kiss and Tell) that several episodes later they still hadn't talked. We know that Marisha perceives Laudna as holding Imogen back (and that Laudna perceives herself as doing so) from the Rose City Q&A. We know that from 4SD #20 (Episode Twenty) that Laura doesn't like conflict in narrative and Marisha does, and that Laura was thrown by Laudna's regression following Ashton's attempt to absorb the shard (4SD #19, Shard Candy).

I don't know if it's deliberate or not; I don't have any extra insight that isn't public knowledge any fan can easily access. But man, it doesn't feel like these are two actors on the same page about what's going on.

I've touched on this before but mostly in tags or whisper posts but I've always felt ill at ease with a number of for lack of a better term "fandom-approved opinions" and one of the ones that has baffled me the most is this idea that Marisha and Laura have exceptional chemistry. I watched Campaign 1 knowing the endgame ships but deliberately avoiding the fandom, and Vex and Keyleth did not even once occur to me as a thing. I watched the first year of Campaign 2 without a ton of fandom interaction because I was avoiding additional C1 spoilers and it seemed crystal clear that the obvious ship was Beau and Yasha; it felt like Beau and Jester only even had enough potential for me to multiship it as my general "whomever Jester picks" for like, 30 episodes. And yet people - people who didn't even ship either of the above ships and in some cases disliked them- would just say "oh man I can't wait until we get to a campaign where we can finally explore Marisha and Laura's incredible chemistry!" and it's like. I feel like I'm the kid in the Emperor's New Clothes on this! I understand that chemistry is to an extent a matter of taste and subjectivity, but it just increasingly feels like people looked at two campaigns of tables where Ashley was frequently absent and said "well, if I want an F/F ship that's between two of the women in the cast, I guess this is what I have to work with" and repeated to themselves that a flat pamplemousse La Croix was a Piña Colada until they started to believe it. I mean if someone wants to explain it to me in good faith I suppose be my guest and I will try to take it in, but it feels like people just treat this as incontrovertible fact and if you doubt it they're like "don't you have eyes" and it's like, well, pretend I don't. Explain like I'm eyeless and five because I have never understood this. They both have more chemistry with every single other cast member; it's not all romantic but man, I didn't even buy Laudna and Imogen as platonic best friends of two years. I have never had this problem with any other pre-existing character relationships Marisha and Laura have played, platonic or otherwise. It's literally just them. I just never feel like they're quite on the same page.

Back to the relationship between Imogen and Laudna onscreen, this was easily the best conversation since the start of the gnarlrock fight, and it is my hope it doesn't fizzle out the way that did. You can't keep kissing Laudna whenever she fears she's lost forever to Delilah, Imogen. Or you can, but that won't fix the problem. Again: are you disgusted? Do you feel betrayed? If you're not, why did you say that? If you are, how will you move past it? Do you want to be with someone who never feels like they're good enough for you? Laudna, do you want to be with someone who, no matter what they say, you feel you're holding back?

Early in the campaign, my feeling was that of our current situation, switched - Imogen felt her powers were a burden and a curse and Laudna kept referring to them and to her glowingly. It's just...ships passing in the night, no pun intended here. I hope it's on purpose and whatever comes from it is a good story - and either a tragedy or a happy story could be a good one. But I have a nagging sensation that Laudna wants out but is afraid to say no, and Imogen is afraid to let go, and I honestly don't know if the actors have realized this impasse and how the characters might resolve it, one way or another, besides the insufficient bandaid of a kiss whenever the conversation gets too uncomfortable.

Crossovers, OC & Canon ships, most types of dynamics really, even toxic ones. Leona is not picky ( She loves who she loves. ) and neither am I. I don't think I'd venture into dynamics that are too abusive with Leona, just because I can't see her staying in abusive relationships very long and it would make me uncomfortable to write such long term.

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE?:

What a question. I tend to go on a case by case basis. Honestly it ranges and this universe has immortals and all that jazz. Age is an important factor when it comes to shipping for me though. I'd say in most cases, I prefer them to be no more than five years apart. I think, if they are not too far apart age wise, and are in similar phases of their lives, I can ship it. Sometimes ( I see this very much with younger muses tho. ) it gets really uncomfy because, well, someone might still be in school and figuring life out while the other has a job, has their shit together, etc. etc. and that is also a factor. The characters need common ground to build a relationship on. Then we have the whole shebang with immortal x mortal ships, or even immortal x immortal ships which... I won't bore you with right now tbh.

To a degree. But I promise I am not unreasonably picky, just be a decent person and if we vibe together we can ship no problems.

For me, I’m not really comfortable shipping Ignis with muses he has a LOT of respect for, either as a superior or as an older figure. This goes for King Regis, Cor, Clarus, etc. He grows up basically modeling himself after their leadership, and they all play a huge role in how he matures and handles himself. To ship Ignis with the people who are basically his role models ( especially Regis, who he views as a father figure ), it would be very weird.

I also do not ship him with Iris or Talcott, or any of the muses who are canonically much younger than him in the game. Even aged up, I just don’t see it working; they’re siblings to him, and that’s how it shall remain.

HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY ARE CONSIDERED NSFW?

I mean, anyone who has written smut with me knows I’ll write pretty much anything, but I know not everyone wants to see / read all that. At the point it starts getting graphic is when body parts are mentioned, clothes are starting to come off, and the more detailed, steamy stuff starts emerging from the darkest pits of the sin bucket. Tumblr is so bad with read mores, however, so most of my stuff is hashed out on Wire or Discord. That being said, I will still tag it appropriately and use read mores regardless, in the event I DO write something on Tumblr.

ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING?

I’ve gotten way more selective over the years, because I feel like sometimes, the way I portray Ignis is completely disregarded in favor of trying to appeal to a ship. He’s a workaholic who has, and will always, put work and Noctis first; that won’t change no matter how cute the ship is. I’m not gonna change the core of my Ignis just to keep something going, so I look for muses who are going to vibe well with how Ignis is as a person ( and I can usually determine pretty early on if it’s going to work or not ). There’s a difference between getting him to take a break every now and then, and trying to get him to prioritize something that might not even work out over what he was, literally, born and raised to do. Once we get past that hurdle, it’s steady sailing.

WHO ARE OTHER CHARACTERS YOU SHIP YOUR CHARACTER WITH?

Noctis and Gladio are the characters I feel work best with Ignis, but Fleurentia ( Ignis x Ravus ) is also a lowkey beloved ship of mine. Episode Ignis fed this a LOT, because of the chemisty the two of them had both in battle and through their interactions. If not lovers, I feel like, after setting their differences aside, Ignis and Ravus would get along extremely well, because it’s obvious they have a lot in common.

DOES ONE HAVE TO ASK TO SHIP WITH YOU?

I mean, you don’t have to get a signed permission slip or anything to ship with me, but we do need to vibe well both OOC and IC. Nothing worse than trying to ship, and one or both of us ends up not enjoying ourselves because we jumped right into it. WHAT’S YOUR OTP FOR YOUR MUSE?: I don’t typically tend to have OTPs that are not canon; I don’t spontaneously ship characters on a show that are not an actual canon pairing, even less so when there is no sign of them being the possibility of a pairing. I would say there are fandom-made ships whose aesthetics and possible dynamics I gravitate towards, or that I can see making sense, more than proper OTPs (because part of me also appreciates seeing platonic relationships, blame my lil aroace heart that doesn’t see enough well-developed, important friendships, for instance - doesn’t stop me from loving fanarts and pairings I stumble upon or am introduced to, like Mikasasha or Berusasha!). For Sasha specifically, Sasha & Niccolo is the main one, precisely because it is canon and makes complete sense - there really is no better match for Sasha than a cook, and the fact that he is a Marleyan doubles down on the Braus’ themes of tolerance and open-mindedness.  And of course, I have my ultimate BROTPs, namely the trio Sasha & Connie & Jean, and Mikasa & Sasha & Historia. Bffs and roommates Sasha & Mikasa. And since the train track episode, Sasha & Armin. 

WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO RP WHEN IT COMES TO SHIPPING?: Pretty much anything goes! Except non-consensual stuff, abuse, things such as incest, paedophilia etc - nobody can ever convince me to include that in any ship whatsoever. I rp to have a good time and be full of feels, I love me a good angst, but those things I would not consider good angst. What I’m willing to rp includes pretty much anything else: fluffy ships, angsty ships, soft ships, tragedy, fun stuff, evolution from friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, and all and any nuance that we can think of. I like variety in my ships! And I like to go deep into the development, so the upside is, if you choose to ship with me, you will always have a partner willing to discuss the relationship at length and imagine all the details of it all, and start ten different threads (note that this goes with platonic ships too - friendships, family, etc). The possible downside you may find, depending on your own preferences, is that it takes me a little while to find my footing, and I like to put in the time to find the right tone so that the ship doesn’t just... jump out of the blue, if that makes sense? And sometimes I wonder if it may deter people or make them think I’m not as enthusiastic or involved in the ship, when in reality it’s the opposite. Shipping on tumblr also feels very different from my experience of shipping on a forum, where it’s all about long-term development  and commitment, and where I’ve had the same three ship partners for three years now, so maybe I need to adjust to the more ephemeral format of tumblr too. (what do you mean I completely derailed from the original question?)

It just doesn’t sit right with me.

I’ve never shipped a lot (I’m pretty sure this blog is where I’ve shipped the most, ever), partly due to being selective, partly due to not necessarily being very good at understanding the tumblr shipping etiquette because I’m a wee bit of a simpleton. But basically, I will not ship unless I have talked ooc with the mun of the other muse, and we’ve had a few interactions pointing towards compatibility of writing styles and personalities. What’s your OTP for your Muse?

I usually have several OTPs because I’m notoriously indecisive and very bad at picking absolute favorites, but I’ll give you my current fave ships for all my muses :)

Zack x Cloud (but I also really love Zack x Aerith and Zack x Cissnei and Zack x Seph adfjksdf) Sephiroth x Cloud because sometimes I’m mainstream like that, and Seph x Aerith because you’re a gremlin, Pan Johnny x Common Sense Kadaj x Cloud Biggs x ??? I don’t really have a lot of ships for Biggs (yet) but I do enjoy shipping him with @hautevaux quite a lot! Rufus x Tseng or Rufus x Heidegger ( @dogof-war ), sue me Roche x Cloud but also Roche x @stingslikeabee because Mari/Mel is pure perfection and this ship hurts my soul Rude x Reno

What are you willing to RP when it comes to shipping?

I mean. Anything? Mostly anything? My favorite part about shippy rps is, hands down, when they’re not together yet. The pining phase and the getting-together. I live for that shit. I don’t mind established things but they’re less thrilling, imo. I also love angsty stuff. Enemies falling in love, lovers becoming enemies, betrayals, star-crossed lovers, all that jazz. My least favorite thing to write is established fluff especially if it involves family planning. Babies aren’t really my thing and to me these threads get boring fast. I’ll take an angsty love story during the zombie apocalypse over a positive preg/nancy test any day. I don’t hate these threads! But if I have a choice..

How large does the age gap have to be to make it uncomfortable?

I mean. I can handle some pretty big age gaps. I’m talking humans now, because vampires & co are a different story altogether. I don’t know. It more depends on how old they both are than how big the age gap is. Like, my Rufus and Han’s Heidegger are some 30 years apart and I don’t find it uncomfortable. (Heid seems to find it uncomfortable sometimes, Rufus doesn’t.) What I want is that everyone is over 18 and knowing what they’re getting into. After that it really more depends on how mentally & emotionally mature the characters are and how their story goes. But I guess an age gap of 50+ years would be a little odd. Idk, I’ve never written something so big outside of supernaturally aging characters.

Are you selective when shipping?

Yes. First of all, I don’t like all ships that exist. Secondly, I can only ship with people who see a ship roughly the same way as I do. And the characters. If someone writes a (canon) character in a way that isn’t at all compatible with the way I see this character then I won’t ship with them. Or if they want something from my character that I cannot provide, because my portrayal of my muse differs from their ideas about my characters.

I am pretty open to most ships, though. In the past I’ve been convinced of ships I never thought of before! Just ask me if you’d like to ship, I don’t judge ships. Worst case I’ll say no thank.

How far do steamy moments have to go before they’re considered NSFW?

I guess as soon as there’s a certain extent of nudity, or mentions of getting aroused. A clear intention of something leading to se/x. I wouldn’t tag nsfw if someone was just kissing, but if they’re groping or rolling around in bed, I probably would.

At the same time, like. Don’t be on tumblr at work if your boss is around 😂

Nygmobblepot - Edward Nygma and Oswald Cobblepot from Gotham. I don’t recall ever adoring a ship as much as these two, so they’re def my #1 ship. There’s just something about that “us against the rest of the world” vibe from many villain/villain ships that can be extremely compelling. Also given the both dark and goofy nature of Gotham, there’s just a lot that you can do with these characters. I also quite enjoy Riddlebird (aka Penguin/Riddler outside of Gotham), although I do know less about their dynamic in other Batman adaptations/universes.

Mantis and Nebula from GOTG/the MCU. Mhm honestly I’m not as much into these two as I used to be but thinking about them makes my seratonin levels RISE! There’s so much they could learn from eachother and I think their dynamic in general would make for some hilarious, domestic situations.

Riza Hawkeye/Roy Mustang from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (haven’t seen 2003 FMA yet, or read the manga). Probably my favourite straight ship hahha. I quite enjoy both of them as individual characters and, as a result, how their personalities work together. Especially the trust that these two have is admirable! I also quite enjoy the role that their relationship fulfills in FMAB. It’s not a slow-burn but instead pre-established with a long-running history. They don’t exude those vibes of a young romantic couple but instead have a very solid and stable relationship. They don’t display pda but you can tell by each of their interactions how fond they are for eachother.....I just think they’re neat :)

(To be honest there are quite a few ships I enjoy to the same extent as Mantis/Nebula and Riza/Roy.....I like them but Nygmobblepot is still by far my fave ship. With pretty much all of my other ships, I just tend to read fanfic abt them occasionally and would probably not create original content for them myself.

Also I tend to multiship most of my favourite characters? Scorpia from She-ra, Matsuda from Death Note (Sayu not as much), and Edward Nygma...Seems like I ship my faves with a bunch of people or nobody else at all.)

last movie: 

Crazy Rich Asians! They added it on Netflix a while ago so one of my friends and I decided to watch it via Netflix Party (which is a Chrome extension I can heavily recommend if you have Netflix and miss Rabb.it like I do). In my country we’re actually allowed to meet up with people again but sadly she’s abroad rn, so we’ve been watching quite a few movies via Netflix Party. Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, The Breakfast Club, and now Crazy Rich Asians.

Anyways, I loved the movie! I was actually pleasantly surprised by the emotional beats and character growth this movie had because back when it was released, I only really perceived it as a great comedy. It’s still pretty funny, but I definetely enjoyed the family and class conflict it was depicting. Also Singapore looks so amazing wtf!!

reading: 

I sadly started too many books at the same time and haven’t finished any of them yet lol. I tend to read small portions at a time these days and hardly ever finish books in one setting.

A friend gifted me Shadows of the Dark Crystal by J.M. Lee - it’s set in the Dark Crystal universe (taking place parallel to the Netflix prequel show). Said friend remembered me casually mentioning how much I love said prequel show and so she got it for me as a Secret Santa gift. It’s prob one of the most considerate gifts I’ve gotten in a while! The story is very conscise (honestly you really could compare it to a great fanfic) and it definitely made me more interested in the fantasy genre as a whole. I’m reading one or two chapters every now and then but I’m waiting to finish it until I’ve got the second entry of the book series.

Another book I started was The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Have neither seen the movie or read the book yet but it’s on our English BA’s reading list. Finished about the first quarter I believe? But I haven’t continued it ever since. However, it’s definitely been a good read thus far! Downloaded it on our tablet because it’s under Creative Commons and thus free!

The third text I’ve started reading (abt a week ago) is As You Like It by William Shakespeare. Never actually read a Shakespeare play in English thus far so I felt like it was about time (my previous literature courses at Uni: Am I a joke to you?). Can’t really say much about it yet because I’m still at the 2nd Act but I’m glad to have bought the bilingual version (English original on the left page, German translation on the right page) because Shakespearean English is still very new to me.

Arator x Jaina. I love slow burn, friends to lovers. I love that they’re each others oldest friend and confidant but they’ve spent so much time as friends that neither wants to risk ruining that by seeking more. I also love how, after Shadows Rising, the relationship Jaina has with Alleria and Turalyon might complicate things but I love complicated, too. They make family dinners very interesting.

 I love angst and fluff but am pretty receptive to all shipping subjects. I prefer healthy relationships though. So pretty much I’m willing to write anything it just depends on the characters and what they want to do.

Favorite? It’s hard for me to pick a favorite. Many I love for different reasons. Like I love Wrathion x Anduin x Arator because they are three men trying to prove their worth but also giving so much of themselves in the process. They all have a chip on their shoulder and I just want them to see that in one another and realize “Oh, you’re hurting yourself doing this...please stop and let me love you.” because then they realize “oh shit I do that too don’t I?” and so they become each others most vocal champion. I’m not a huge fan of Fairshaw (though Shadows Rising has me questioning that) but when it was declared canon I cried tears of joy. I still remember the censoring that happened to Sailor Moon so to have a LGBT+ ship confirmed c’: It’s great.

What’s your OTP for your Muse(s)? Peter / catching a break Haha, but really, Peter and MJ! I love love love them so much but I am definitely open to different relationships as well!

What are you willing to RP when it comes to shipping? Honestly? I will try anything but I tend to heavily gravitate toward angst and MAYBE some fluff.

How large does the age gap have to be to make it uncomfortable? For Peter, anyone 18+. I think once he is over 18 TECHNICALLY any age is good, this is all fiction and a hobby but I wouldn’t ship an 18 year old Peter with Tony Stark. I wouldn’t ship a 25 year old Peter with Tony Stark. Okay, this really has to do with their platonic relationship making it not okay for me so I would maybe say anything beyond 10 years? Honestly I don’t know, is that weird? Age gaps are common IRL and this is HONESTLY something I’ve never had to consider in my writing.

Are you selective when shipping? Kinda? I don’t ship right off the bat. I would much rather talk to a mun ooc and if we come up with a P L O T that we love that happens to ship then I am usually down. I think I am more selective when it comes to the quality of the writing. I’m not super drawn to shipping with someone that doesn’t seem like they put much into their writing or talking about the ship beforehand.

Who are other muses you ship your muse with? I am open to anything? BUT I do love me some Peter and MJ, and Peter and Gwen, I love Peter’s dynamic with Felicia Hardy. I never got into Peter and Harry Osborn, I know that is popular and maybe I just need to read the right fic/have the right conversation/write with the right mun but I don’t see it. I love an older Peter with Wade Wilson but that’s a whole separate Spidey from the one I write. I am hitting all the basic ones, huh? Haha, I am the worrrst.

Does one have to ask to ship with you? Asking is weird and I’ll probably feel awkward? I’ve been approached with plot ideas that are centered around story and emotion with a side of shipping, which is what I really enjoy. I also like when ships develop (platonic/romantic/etc.) on their own!

What’s your OTP for your Muse?

At the moment, my most developed ship is Rosie and (@osteum‘s) Eddie Brock. Its my deepest passion for that reason, with the kind of dynamics they share, and the amount of interactions that stem around their association to each other. They have a whole family of 6 kids together (including the new addition of Dylan from the current Venom run) and honestly the ups and downs are what I live for. Its the chance I get to explore Rosie’s life as a Mom and a Wife and how she deals with it, mixed in with the regular events of her canon. How she deals with this deep love she has for Eddie and their family beyond any sane reason, and that butters my bread.

What are you willing to RP when it comes to shipping?

Generally anything? As long as im comfortable with my partner, and how Rosie feels towards the said muse, its almost free range. Naturally im not gonna be too cozy with the extremes but If it serves plot purposes maybe I can budge. I can’t really say my own limitation mostly because half the time I don’t really know my limits until suddenly its in my face and too much, then I go “Woah alright, thats enough”

Naturally, anything shipping related needs to be something I can realistically see happening with Rosie. And she’s a hard bird to crack.

How large does the age gap have to be to make it uncomfortable?

Rosie really a grownass woman with kids, and she’s immortal so she’s more likely than not older than her partner. But Rosie is not gonna date not teenager that could be her kid. Im not gonna flip my shit over huge age gaps as long as there’s good chemistry but Rosie isnt gonna date someone who’s like.. under 25. It largely depends on the maturity of a person that will be the hit or miss with her.

She tends to be interested in older muses either way,  It all varies by what gets plotted in a verse, but Rosie is a little more open to the idea of an older partner than she is someone younger. Even if she’ll never look past 32

At this point in time, im a tired old lady that literally just wants people to care for Rosie beyond being a tool for romance, so yeah. Im selective( arent we all?), but im generally open minded if we already chatted out some interesting dynamics. In the end, Rosie may be a sick person, but im not gonna have her jump dick or look for some V to slay just because she’s not that desperate of a character. If you wanna love Rosie, there’s gonna be a lot of baggage that is involved from emotional trauma and her off personality, along with her having kids ,

but if you’re ready to explore that field, im open. I just dont want something half assed, ya know? Need a partner thats just as enthusiastic about the ship as me, not someone just collecting her as a angsty neko girl they can go to whenever they don’t get what they want from someone else. Im a hella go big or go home type of Gal. I dont wanna end up looking dumb or making a fool out of Rosie for caring about a ship my partner doesn’t feel the same passion for. Im too tired to get treated like that. And Rosie deserves better than that.

The moment dirty words start getting thrown in and the heavy petting turns into intentional acts of trying to turn her partner on, its nsfw and its going under read more. Who knows what the future holds.

Atm, Rosie’s partners all have their separate verses and I fucking love them all

@maxskulline has dragged me into the pokefandom with Max and Guzma, so Rosie and Max have that close BFF friendship with that touch of intimate passion thrown in there.

@fcllenstcr Rosie’s infamous relationship with the devil who’s nothing but trouble. There’s a lot of background history that goes into the relationship, but give em a few thousand years and suddenly Rosie finds herself the new Queen of Hell keeping the old snake in line.

 @Cecidesent is Rosie’s main apostle husband, Guts. Written by Will too, Guts and Rosie is probably one of the oldest ships I got and I love them.

Does one have to ask to ship with you?

I would think its common courtesy to ask and not just force your muse onto another. Rosie is not exactly an easy person to just throw in with and chances are if you try she’s gonna shy away because bitch doesn’t know how to handle someone being equally interested in her. I would like to have talked for a while before throwing in with shipping , make sure our muses have good standing because Im not here to have Rosie used as a sex doll right away. But if you see some chemistry there, feel free to ask! Highkey chance im probably into it as well and have been too shy to ask.

How often do you like to ship?

Not often at this point. Im more concerned with Rosie making meaninful friendships nire than I am shipping her off with every person that comes along. There’s a lot of things to accept when shipping with Rosie and many things about her that arent just gonna magically go away just because she’s with someone. I dont mind it but its certainly not my priority.

What’s your OTP for your Muse?

Strangely enough, being the shipper trash I am, I have none. I lowkey ship Charles with... 30% of all important Innocent characters, because... he has made out with them all, but I don’t have an OTP. Charles is just a character, who doesn’t have this one relationship, which turns his life upside down, and if a ship is not a life-changing experience to her muse, then Dara isn’t interested ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I love drama!  

What are you willing to RP when it comes to shipping?

Everything. Well, almost everything. I’m not down for physical abuse, rape, etc. I just don’t want such things happening to my muse. But aside from that, I’m pretty much down for toxic relationships, healthy relationships, fluff, angst, drama, jealousy, cheating, break-ups, one-night-stands, whatever you wish for.

How large does the age gap have to be to make it uncomfortable?

Honestly, I don’t think Charles is the kind of a muse to be interested in a younger than him person at all. If anything, the other muse has to be the older one... I’d say 10 years most though? He is in his early twenties in my main verse, so anyone 35+ would be too old for him in my eyes. Age gaps don’t make me feel uncomfortable, it’s just that I’m not interested in them, as they lack balance. (Immortal characters don’t count here, that’s a different scenario).

Hm... I’d say yes. I’m selective with romantic ships, because I haven’t really found many muses he’d actually fall for, the ones who would be his type, don’t seem to be common archetypes, especially not in the manga/anime fandoms.

Purely sexual ships are easier. He becomes rather lustful as he grows older (in my main verse he is still a virgin, but in canon he literally lost his virginity to a woman he had never seen before, so I guess he’s always been rather horny lmao? The hornyness and touch-starvation are always a factor with him. ).

Romantically - @princely-alucard - it’s the one relationship of Charles, which has gotten this far. We have been writing for almost half an year though.

I love the many HCs we develop, the NPCs, the many possibilities. I am determined to make them happy at some point xD

That ofc depends on the muse but I can say with certainty that none of them would date someone who’s much, much younger than them in a romantic ship. Abel and Lucille have a gap of at least 6 years I think, but the mental age gap still shows now and then, so... I think that’s something I focus on more than a physical age gap. It’s just logical that Davey’s priorities and mentality would never correspond with the ones of a person in their 30ies; they’re too different.

Chemistry is all I say. For some muses I am more picky just because they are difficult to ship with, that’s hardly due to the other muse we’re writing with but my idiots themselves.

Hit me with a brick! No, seriously. Just tag me in stuff that reminds you of our muses bc prepare for me to do so! If you get nice vibes just toss them at me, it’s super likely that I feel them, too. I feel more comfortable about ships with muns I also talk ooc to, it’s usually easier to find a common ground on things.

WHAT’S YOUR OTP FOR YOUR MUSE? : Betty & Jughead which not because of canon, more because of the chemistry and entire world/future built with @joneshead‘s Jughead. A lot of care and time have gone into these two and after writing them together for almost what, two years now they still seem to be absolutely obsessed with each other. 

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE? : If Betty is canon, she is a child so no one above the age of an adult. In other verses, generally 5-10 years? I just don’t feel like there’s a reason for her to be involved in a relationship beyond that relatively open guideline seeing as I don’t think they’d find anything in common. Also it just seems like an age gap based ship is just for the sake of being provocative and I’m not here for that. 

ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING? : chemistry is a must. I guess I’m more selective for certain ships because I’ve had experience with them being forced or implied and I wasn’t really made a part of that decision which was sucky and I wouldn’t want to do that to anyone else ever!

HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY’RE CONSIDERED NSFW? Clothing is usually a good guideline, but lewd actions being described as well. I’m super comfortable with NSFW but I respect my partner’s levels of comfortability and almost exclusively write said material in Discord or off-site with all the changes on Tumblr. 

WHO ARE OTHER MUSES YOU SHIP YOUR MUSE WITH? : Archie, Toni, Sweet Pea and sometimes Veronica (read as: selective). 

ANY NOTPS? : NOTHING in the family (Chic, Cheryl, etc.). No incest-y things and I’m not here for anything involving underage anyone with adults. 

DOES ONE HAVE TO ASK TO SHIP WITH YOU? : Preferably yes? We may not always be on the same page or feeling the same vibe from a meme or thread so I think it’s always best to check in!

WHAT’S YOUR OTP FOR YOUR MUSE? :  I don’t really have one!! Betty is pretty shippable with a lot of the characters and muses!! It really comes down to chemistry for me and I also love to do pairings that aren’t as common for her.

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE? :  If I play Betty as canon, which for the most part I do, I say no more than 2 years older than her. so, nothing over the age of 18..19 at the most. For older Betty, I would go as far as maybe 5 years. Nothing too crazy.

ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING? :  I think so. But its all based on chemistry, baby! I love discussing the possibility of shipping with people, but sometimes that doesn’t work out. And that’s okay. So I wouldn’t say I am intentionally selective, but it happens.

HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY’RE CONSIDERED NSFW? :   While I do really enjoy writing NSFW things, because I feel like it can help in some instances, to build character and headcanons on how they love the person they are with. I think it’s totally fun, but while that’s the case for me, I understand that a lot of people are uncomfortable with it. On tumblr, I will only go as far as making out and some clothes being removed before I fade to black. And the NSFW stays private on discord with people I am most comfortable writing that stuff with and when/if the thread can benefit from it.

WHO ARE OTHER MUSES YOU SHIP YOUR MUSE WITH? :  We haven’t had much time to flesh out a verse for them, but I simply already adore whatever me and @warcrashed​ will come up with for an older Betty verse!! Also, @srpntloyalty​ , is the best sweet pea and my Betty loves him so much.  oh, and of course, @forsytheslegacy​ , because my Betty (and myself, duh!) were instantly attracted to their muse! Honestly there are so many more muses I could ship my muse with that I would love to.

ANY NOTPS? :   I am pretty open to just about anything!! As long as there is no incest or shipping with the adults of the show. That will get an instant no from me.

DOES ONE HAVE TO ASK TO SHIP WITH YOU? :  Usually, it just happens? But of course if you see potential in a ship with me then all you have to do is ask and we can test the waters. Or send a shippy meme and see where it takes use from there!

HOW OFTEN DO YOU LIKE TO SHIP? :  I don’t try to seek out ships, if they happen, then they happen. Sometimes you just click with a person and their muse and a beautiful ship is formed. But I like slow burns, and friends to lovers plots a lot, and  a good healthy friendship are just as great as being in a romantic ship with someone!

ARE YOU MULTISHIP? :  Yes of course!! Sticking to just one ship can get boring. I like to explore different aspects and how Betty would act differently when she was put in a different situation with being with someone else.

ARE YOU SHIP-OBSESSED OR SHIP MORE-OR-LESS? :   I guess it really depends? if I love a ship with a certian person, I am totally ship obsessed with them! But it just depends on the circumstances.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE SHIP IN YOUR CURRENT FANDOM? : I honestly think I’d have to go for Ronnie and Reggie. They are cute, and it’s fun to see different ships on the show.
