Kunsten er død, short film written by Tarjei, will be part of BIFF - Bergen internasjonale filmfestival that will be held from 18-23. October 2023.
Kunsten er død will compete for the title Best Norwegian Short Film 2023. The winner will be announced at BIFF's awards ceremony and receive a prize of NOK 10,000. The films are shown with English subtitles.

Storyline
Hilde is a dying performance artist. She is doing her final preparations before leaving her apartment and laying down on top of a park. She swallows a pill and dies. She leaves behind a demand to stay like that as an art installation. The next morning, a man stumbles across her body. Suddenly the police, some lawyers, her parents and a group of activists are discussing whether she should be allowed to stay.

This is so exciting! I have seen he joined the team at TEN but now we get the scope and the explanation.

- Men så kan vi jo tale om, at jeg glæder mig til at se "Kvinden i buret" som tv-serie. Den kommer formentlig på Netflix om et års tid, siger han.
Det er den amerikanske filminstruktør Scott Frank, som for syv år siden købte tv-serie-rettighederne til alle 10 historier fra Afdeling Q-serien.
- Serien bliver nu tilrettelagt til 10 sæsoner med otte episoder i hver sæson. Og lige nu er forberedelserne i gang i Edinburgh, fortæller Jussi.
Scott Frank er manden bag så forskellige film som "Little Man Tate", "Marley & Me", "Logan" og "No Exit". Og tv-serier som "Queens Gambit" og "Godless",
Hvem spiller Carl Mørck?
- Det ved jeg ikke. Det kan være, at han skal være skotte, lyder det kryptiske svar.
- Men Scott Frank vil personligt instruere de to første afsnit.
Jussi Adler-Olsen kunne ikke have ønsket sig en bedre person i front for en tv-serie, siger han og kalder instruktøren for en ven.
Samme begejstring gav han ikke udtryk for ved Zentropas film baseret på de fire første bøger. Heller ikke selv om nogle anmeldere og en del af biografpublikummet er glade for dem. Han var mere positiv i forhold til samarbejdet omkring "Marco Effekten", der er produceret af Nordisk Film, som har filmrettighederne til resten af serien. Men her har hverken publikum eller anmeldere til gengæld vist sig særlig begejstrede.
Nu ser forfatteren frem til den kommende filmatisering af "Den grænseløse".
Alle film er formentlig for længst færdige, inden Netflix-serien når til de sidste bøger i serien.
- Og når det sker, så er jeg gammel og forhåbentlig i live, siger Jussi tørt.
Men Skotland?
- Det er Scott Franks valg. Jeg ved det ikke. Måske handler det om, at han synes, at produktionsforholdene i Danmark er blevet for vanskelige.

FilmNation sells out on ‘The Crow’ reboot in Cannes (exclusive)

The Crow reboot package lived up to pre-market expectations and proved to be a standout from FilmNation’s packed Cannes slate as heavyweight international buyers snapped up rights to the upcoming revenge thriller.
Bill Skarsgård from the It franchise and Deadpool 2 will star alongside British singer-songwriter FKA twigs for Rupert Sanders, whose directing credits include Snow White And The Huntsman, Ghost In The Shell and Foundation. Sanders will direct from a screenplay by Zach Baylin, the Oscar-nominated writer of King Rchard and the upcoming Creed III.
Closed deals include Entertainment Film for the UK, Leonine for Germany, Roadshow Films for Australia and New Zealand, Eagle for Italy, Nordisk for Scandinavia, California Filmes for Latin America, Tri Pictures for Spain, and Moviecloud for Taiwan.
In further trading, rights have gone for Middle East (Italia), Eastern Europe (Vertical), Benelux (WWE), Thailand (M Pictures), Malaysia (Square Box), Singapore (Shaw), Portugal (Pris), Switzerland (Ascot Elite), Greece (Tanweer), South Africa (Empire), India (PVR), Turkey (Yeni Bir), and Baltics (Acme).
Production is anticipated to begin in Europe this summer on the reimagining of the cult character based on James O’Barr’s graphic novel. Alex Proyas directed the 1994 feature version about a man who returns from the dead to avenge his murder and that of his fiancée.
Producers are Molly Hassell, Victor Hadida – whose Metropolitan will distribute The Crow in France – as well as John Jencks, and Edward R. Pressman, who produced the 1994 original. CAA Media Finance represents US rights.
Sanders is represented by CAA, Grandview and Independent Talent Group. Skarsgard is represented by WME, Magnolia Entertainment and Hirsch Wallerstein. FKA twigs is represented by UTA.
FilmNation’s Cannes slate includes Vatican conspiracy thriller Conclave to star Ralph Fiennes, John Lithgow and Isabella Rossellini; Woody Harrelson, Simu Liu and Djimon Hounsou in diver thriller Last Breath; Michael Keaton starring in and directing the noir Knox Goes Away; and Paul Greengrass-Benedict Cumberbatch peasant revolt drama The Hood.
As previously reported Apple snapped up worldwide rights during the market to sci-fi romance package Fingernails starring Riz Ahmed and Jessie Buckley.

I think I'm one of the few people out there who has seen "Help! I'm A Fish" and even briefly remembers Alan Rickman as a Joker Fish.
Here I drew Joe (the Main Antagonist of The Film) as a Human (in my own way), along with his own counterpart (who is actually a Pilot Fish based on his species. From what I've looked up, Pilot Fishes are not actually Purple, just Black and White).
