NEW MYDAYS, OLD MYDAYS WHO WANT TO REWATCH INTERVIEWS: this ones for you

when i first started listening to day6, i was looking for interviews, songs, covers, just places to start looking for information about them. i messaged a lot of mydays, asking them if they knew where i could find some of that stuff (and most of them were really helpful and sent me a few links or something to help me!! mydays are gREAT) but obviously, some didn’t have that information, so for any new mydays or any people who are interested in becoming a myday, here’s some sTUFF that can help you. it includes info, links to songs, mvs, interviews, compilations, covers, and a VERY special channel!! i hope it helps!! enjoy becoming a fan :)

INTRODUCTION

DAY6 is a south korean rock band (they prefer not to be called idols) that debuted in 2015. it has 5 members:

sungjin- leader + vocalist:

jae- vocalist + guitarist:

youngk- vocalist + rapper (you’ll come to realise that he actually can do a lot of stuff he’s insanely talented):

wonpil- keyboardist + vocalist:

dowoon- drummer:

they’re all incredibly sweet boys who are really passionate about what they do :) they are known to be amazing live (i would know, their concert was aMAZING) and you can always depend on them to sing well. it always surprises me how perfect they sound live, or a capella, they sound almost exactly like the track in most lives they do!!

they’re called day6 cos of this ^

their fans are known as MyDays 💕 lmk if you want some more info about them!!

SONGS

i wait: this is my FAVOURITE song of all time and a lot of people love it too

i smile: a cute as heck song, i fell in love the first time i heard it

i need somebody: they pretty much yell “why am i alone” in the chorus and it’s a solid mood (okay but this song is actually incredible i love it so much)

congratulations: their debut song!! they wrote this at the beginning of their career and tbh it’s still such a bop

you were beautiful: (this song is actually so amazing get ready for one of the most beautiful songs in existence)

shoot me: the end part gets me so hype like i always jump around and scream the lyrics it’s very fun

after these, you should also listen to: how can i say, i’m serious, still, i like you, man in a movie, and blood!!

JAESIX

jae is the guitarist/vocalist/hyung-est of the group and he’s my bias :) he did some videos on this channel and they’re hILARIOUS we stan 😂💓

i watched them before i even got into day6 and i loved them!! now, i’ve watched all of them multiple times and have them saved offline

these are the some of the best ones in my opinion (but tbh all of them are really good if you like them you should watch all of them):

the reaction of the streets (i wait-day6 edition): jae interviews people about day6 (ITS FUNNIER THAN THIS EXPLANATION MAKES IT OUT TO BE) this just has some really iconic moments

the popular dance tutorials of 90s-current w/ BM of KARD: basically jae can’t dance but he tries to learn and its,,, hilarious sORRY JAE

day6 tomfoolery in NY and japan: this ones really cute if you wanna get to know day6 better

DAY6 ON ASC (ep. 323): they’ve been on asc a few times but the episodes are pretty long so you should start with this one ITS MY FAVOURITE 😂😂 (just click on episode 323)

DAY6 on weekly idol w/ n. flying: this one’s pretty iconic, i definitely recommend it

this is a playlist of DAY6 SOUNDTRACK, which was this really cool thing that day6 did where each member chose a korean song and they translated it into an english cover, and they’re really good :) they’re only short, and if you watch the epilogues of each episode, you can learn a lot about the members as well!

COVERS

last category (aww we’re so close to the end, sorry to say) this is a playlist of day6 covers that are QUALITY, there’s some from concerts, some radio, and some live acoustic :) i just played these in the background while i was doing stuff for a few days (there’s a lot LMAO) and just,,, appreciated their voices i suggest you do the same

oKAY i feel like this is enough for now, but come to me when (notice that i used WHEN and not IF) you want more!! don’t forget subtitles, i’m pretty sure all of these videos i’ve suggested have them (except maybe the covers)

you can find a lot more content by just looking up day6, but these are a good place to start 💖💖
