sorry it took a bit to answer this, we were caught up with school and stuff, but we just use ibispaint to slap our icons together. also, if you want some good places to get rips (specifically homestuck related) there are a few blogs with some good rips i know of. @mspatransparents, @mspaintripventure, @hsrips and @riphiveswap all have a lot of rips saved from homestuck and homestuck adjacent media, such as pesterquest, hiveswap, hiveswap friendsim and some fan works!
