#ehhh im still developing this thing but i think i accidentally ruined it at some point and then i was like eff it add some tiger stripes #fursona #uhhh i wanted to do like downy on the coat and feathery on the wing but i could not figure out how to render it properly #ill just have to get it next time buut the legs and tail look super cool to me #not perfect obvs but i feel like i hit the reptile chimera look i was going for really well #i think if i learn how to do feather texture and downy coat it could be very cool #this is still my fursona im kinda going every rough draft is a final copy so all wips are final products until theyre not #also i dont really think anyones looking so thats why im going a little ham #i did still just trace the outline from a pic of a wolf except the tail and wing but yeah hes cool! thats me that's my boy!!! lets gooooo!!#no lore just design

it's about time i officially shared my design for Clip from my hairdresser au! here's the silly boi himself!

a.k.a. the most complicated character i've ever designed...

close ups and additional comments under the cut!

that's my boi, despite his crazy design, i love him. his silly top knot hat, the horn-like points around his faceplate, his speckled colours, his four arms, and his funky pants. he's just soooooo fun.

Clip likes to play games and knit! he even made the patchwork pants he wears (he made Sun and Moon a pair too, but they're too precious for them to wear... also a little gaudy to wear in public—doesn't stop Clip tho!). He actually makes everything the boys wear, since there's not a lot of things in their size/shape.

instead of resting at night, he can be found in their living room, playing Kirby 64 for the nth time and/or knitting something. he's just too restless to stay still, he's always gotta be doing something and if it isn't gaming, knitting, or hairdressing, then he's up to No GoodTM.

Clip... likes popping balloons. he says "Goodnight!" with each popped balloon and once he's done, he tosses up the scraps like confetti all while giggling joyfully.

needless to say, he is not fun at parties. Sun and Moon don't let him near balloons for this reason.

and yes, he has sewing needles on hand at all times. for fashion emergencies... and for unsuspecting balloons.

Clip's not allowed to have a phone (just imagine all the in-app purchases Sun and Moon would have to deal with), but he likes to keep up with his customers and their games, even if he doesn't get their fixation over bluenets he'll never openly admit it but he prefers curly-haired blond hunks that look sweet in soft pastels but could also squash him like the spider he is

also, he's great at microbraiding! though i imagine if Sun and Moon are free, they'd come help to shorten the wait but also to compete and see who braids the most (Clip always wins of course—make anything into a game, and he's winning)

aaaaand there's this! i wanted to make sure Clip would be able to freely rotate his waist so his arms could have their full range of motion, and this was the solution i came up with: a crop top on top and a wrap around his waist. and Clip here is being a sneaky little scamp about it.

Hi!! I don't know if anyone has drawn this before (sorry if they have!! I couldn't find any evidence of it) but I have recently been plagued with the question of "what if Machete and Vasco were in Bluey?"

Well. Now we know.

To my knowledge, the only Bluey dogs who wear clothes are the ones in uniforms. TECHNICALLY Machete's outfit could count, but I left it out because it's not typical of a main character. He must be naked 😔

#oh GEEZ they're so cute uaugh #no you're the first to make this crossover!#once someone told me that my dogs and Bluey could exist in the same universe #and even though I'm getting my Bluey lore from second hand sources I think that might be correct and feasible #so you know #take that and eat it with your breakfast #it's great how it's almost justified to let Machete keep his outfit but in the end he must be naked 😔#while everyone is on board with Vasco wearing only a smile #like yeah that tracks he doesn't seem to mind #I like how you managed to translate Vasco's gradients to a form that works with the art style #including the lighter chest/abdomen #also maybe this is an odd thing to say but I suddenly realized how monochrome they are #like their designs have very little contrast and are essentially just different hues of a same color #weird moment to notice that #thank you! this was so sweet #they're adorable #gift art #stafell #own characters #Machete #Vasco #I had sort of a rough day so this cheered me up a lot #cw needles #I had to go get blood tests done and this specific lab person had been really heavyhanded with me before so I asked her to be gentle #and she jabbed the needle into a nerve and I full on screamed in pain and sweated and shook and passed out for a couple of seconds #worst medical experience this far I never knew routine stuff like that could potentially hurt so immensely #I've never been scared of needles before and that has been sort of a point of pride for me #like at least I can do this one unpleasant thing effortlessly #but now I'm just terrified of that happening again #been feeling really weird/exhausted/nauseous all day and the arm still feels weak and tingly so I'm going to bed early tonight

possible name for lad is Pan or Paktolos (just bc .. reference to midas legend even if this midas got nothing to do with it; oh yeah, a bonus midas sketch .. he needs a proper redesign too)

tentacle lad may look mean here (i genuinely dont know why i drew him like that) but hes a big sappy softie, even carries a picture of midas in a locket around- next to the demon teeth hes collected he doesnt leave the island much anymore and mostly manages everything on it, his people call him by royal titles sometimes bc hes been a very competent leadership figure but he doesnt put value in any titles-

he rescued midas from the demon hunters that kidnapped him years ago to bring one of the biggest and most influencial empires to collapse after his older sister, who was the empress, was unexpectedly dying- midas being the next in line the empire doesnt really exist anymore at this point, midas now leading missions around the island instead, or going around keeping up to date with politics and tensions since his husband (tentacle lad) and his people are of a kind that is largely being kept a secret and would be a target for demon hunters as well, despite them not being demons (they look monstrous but are more based on animals, are native to earth, cannot change form, age only somewhat slower than humans and have no control over any elemental magic more than a very skilled human can have- which is basically not even noticable and usually gets passed off as 'talent' in the way a skilled sailor can feel the approaching weather in the wind)

Some sketches of the cutest girl of hell V2!

I LOVE to think (take everything below as my headcanon) that V2 was designed in the after the war times and because of it was given more unnecessary things like a module for showing emotions with a eye hologram in her lens which although make her more human friendly ( I guess machine production at that point needed to show humans that machines can be used not only for war but altho for more daly tasks and for that kinda change direction for a little bit more cute and “soft” of some sort designs.) V1 on it’s occasion was made with more of "fighting and surviving long times in the battlefield" thoughts so it don’t have any extra parts like that and its lens only sometimes glitches when it get hit with an energy orb.
