I feel like I’m constantly being held responsible for the actions of random shitty transmascs just by having the commonalities of being transmasculine & talking abt the oppression I face as a result. Like I’m sorry you’ve run into a handful of shitty people. I’ve also run into shitty people but that doesn’t mean I stereotyped the entire group they came from about it.

OMEGA SATORU????????????? RAAAAAAAHHHHWOLF ON HIS KNEES RIPPING OFF CLOTHES im normal about it please elaborate please
chuckles evilly…. satoru’s the kind of omega that knows that other people want him, knows that he could date or sleep with pretty much anybody he wants, but there’s only one person he wants and it’s you, and he’s stubborn and insufferable about it. you seem to be the only alpha in his life that’s immune to him and it drives him crazy—it doesn’t matter how much he flirts, how good he smells, how many times he pouts and blinks and calls you alpha, you just smile and ruffle his hair and it kills him. he doesn’t get it. even nanami has had to take a step away from him when he’s close his heat, but you’re not phased by him at all.
it’s bordering on pathetic bc you’re not even mates, not even dating, not even close to being anything really—you’re friends and have been for a while, but that doesn’t stop satoru from throwing himself onto you, from pouting, and from proudly declaring that you’re His alpha. he brags and brags and brags to anyone who will listen about how he’s in the best pack in the world, how you’re the best alpha of them all, how he’s the luckiest omega ever, but every time he’s hit with the reality that he’s not yours, he gets unreasonably upset. sometimes, he even tries to take it out on you, gets himself sick or drunk or lets his pheromones run wild while he clings to you and slurs about how you’re supposed to be a good alpha, and take care of him. gets himself all worked up, pacing the floor and pouting and ranting incoherently about how he’s always been yours and it’s not fair that you’re not his and he’s being irrational and he’s definitely not sober, but still, all you have to do is call his name and barely nip at his wrist and it’s like his entire body resets. he freezes and goes slack and he’s scolding himself internally because he’s so weak to you and he can’t do anything to make you succumb to him.
it’s not like he’d change that tho. it bothers him that he has no sway over you, but, truthfully, he loves the control that you have over him. he likes you can tame him, he likes belonging to you like that. he just wants to have you like that, too. and so yes he’s desperate, yes he’s pathetic, yes he’ll do anything for your attention, but he doesn’t care, satoru wants you and he will do whatever it takes to have you

really and truly unless it's a discussion about why peggy/steggy fans shouldn't like endgame, at this point idk why people feel the need to continually make the argument about her having a family as if that's the biggest problem about the ending especially when i figure most people are of the belief that it was another timeline or whatever idk what the current consensus on that is in the mcu and i don't care
but what about the fact that it destroyed steve's family? does that not matter because it's not the standard spouse and children but is instead a family he built for himself with sam and nat and bucky? because it's easier to decide steve is a selfish asshole and always has been instead of acknowledging that that storyline did more of a disservice to him than to anyone else? like oh maybe peggy's family was erased and that's horrible but it doesn't matter that steve's family was abandoned in the midst of the kind of trauma he knows very well?
i've said it before but it makes me so sad that so many people just turned on steve and decided a decade of movies don't matter in the face of one shitty desperate attempt of a movie to make him look like a pathetic creep just so they could justify their heterosexual nonsense ending

I do have on thing to say about the fact that "one of the passengers is a 19 year old" for the Titan.
A 19 year old is still a "teenager" but that is a whole ass adult. That is an adult who has been an adult for a year and acting like he has no self agency to not make the choices he did is just ridiculous and I'm seeing *way* to many people on this site pretty much just infantalize him. 18 is *also* an adult. A new adult, but still an *adult*. If you are seriously in the mindset of "but that's a child still!" You need to step away from Tumblr and just think about how you view the various human stages of development.
19 year olds aren't kids. That man made that choice to go down there.
(also as a trans man who's rights are under attack and that people are using the argument of "kids can't consent" to get their foot in the door and then further take them away from literal adults, some under the argument of "well a lot of y'all are autistic and Don't Really Understand what's happening even though you're adults!!" This shit infuriates me. Stop infantilizing people!!! This may not be about my rights as a trans person but the issue of infantilizing literal adults is still the same!!!)

leaving this here just bc I've seen a LOT of awesome takes lately (im looking directly at all of my mutuals while saying this btw🙏) but can we all admit the whole 'mike "confessing" to will that he's not the heart but will is' thing was like. . . completely wrong?
no offense, but every character has a role in every story, and will's role is NOT the heart, it's mike no matter what you think. has will ever been in a position of leadership like that?? no, right? he hasn't. not to say he isn't important, he very much is! but throughout the seasons, we've literally been SHOWN how the party thrives under mike's leadership I mean come on.
s1: mike getting everyone together to find will in the first place, coming up with plans, making mistakes but ultimately still being the lead, not giving up and doing his best to protect who he can even though he's literally still a kid
s2: once again, making plans to save will, getting everyone together and pulling their heads out of their asses, paying attention to will and lending an ear, maintaining that role of someone 'steady' even though he himself is very much suffering. once again, he makes mistakes, and unfair assumptions, but that's bc he's human, and obviously we all have biases (and he's also barely even a teen like... come on)
s3: now we get to where things start getting rocky, but STILL even after everything he still manages to pull himself together (also bc of will calling him out in the garage yessir) and even with el being a big focus, he's still shown to lead and direct the party (while once again making mistakes, and yes that still doesn't mean he isn't a good leader)
s4: this is the season where he's unfortunately removed a lot from the action (coincidence? I think not) but it's still obvious in certain scenes, how he steps up after the whole thing with el, etc.
anyways, small note too, but it would also go against will's character to feed into mike's insecurities btw. like.. can u imagine that kid looking at mike after mike says he's not the heart/ the leader, and will going "yes ur so right king!!" haha. . . no. will constantly and consistently builds mike back up and stands with him, so why would he agree with something like that??
basically what I'm trying to say is that no matter what changes, mike IS the heart of the party, even though he does fuck up and make mistakes, he is undoubtedly in that role 100% and everyone knows it. as I said before, every character has their role in the story, so if not the heart or the leader, what would mike's role be? genuinely asking bc honestly I can't see anything else, but let me know if I'm wrong or got something wrong ig🤷‍♂️

my advice for anyone whos growing more and more frustrated with the state of aftg and fandom at large is that arguing is fun but you need to be happy. ok. you need to. its hard when bad faith takes are dropped to your doorstep but you need to be happy and enjoy yourself and have fun or there's no point in anything at all ever. ok. fandom is not real and nothing is worth more than your enjoyment. i love you please make sure to have fun and reach out to a friend today. for me

its so interesting mycroft narrates the “it was richters fault but it wasnt on purpose” ending. its the ending that has them on the worst terms after imo but after spending the whole game in sherlocks POV its really interesting getting a glimpse into mycroft’s side. “I saved my brother. He will never forgive me.”

I agree with you completely.
In my opinion, I don't see Suguru being willing to share his partner with anyone, not even Satoru.
This may be a controversial opinion, but for me, despite Suguru and Satoru being 'best friends', their relationship was actually, in my eyes, strained and laden with a certain sense of antagonism. In my opinion, it almost seems as though Satoru was the epicentre of comparisons for Suguru. Indeed, I feel as though one could go even as far as to argue that Suguru's constant internal comparisons with Satoru led to the disintegration of his self-esteem and, in part, identity.
Personally, I feel as though this subtle undercurrent of antagonism in their relationship almost led to Suguru's realisation that he could not match up to the potency of Satoru and his potential, which led to him wanting to realise himself in other ways. As such, in his downfall and disillusionment, I feel like he almost found his new path to be a way of opening a new avenue wherein he could unleash and express his power. Hence, he ended up carving a different path for himself in order to find a way to prove to himself that he could match up to and perhaps leave a bigger impact on the world than the strongest sorcerer (or his competition of sorts), i.e., Satoru.
This, I'm afraid, was a very long-winded way of saying that I can't envision a relationship wherein Suguru and Satoru share a partner as being particularly sustainable for any of the parties.
Both are extremely competitive and possessive, and both, I feel, would feel the need to fully dive into their partner and consume them whole, if that makes sense.
But then again, this is entirely my opinion, and I am no literary theorist or manga connoisseur, so I will happily admit to and accept any faults in the flow and the persuasiveness of my argument.
☝🏻 oh my you couldn’t have elaborated it any better!! i totally agree with all your points regarding geto’s disillusionment and wanting to prove himself in other ways 🥺
and no worries nonnie you have convinced me through and through 🥹

You are so right in your distaste for Blades book 2. No matter how great things get near the end, a majority of the book was horrible. They led us along like mouse to cheese. It’s inexcusable to play with their audience this way.
I only wish more people were less willing to excuse PB’s mediocrity. The signs were on the wall for me when DLS was flat out better than Blades 2, and it’s narratively quite simple. The story told was well paced, thought out, and above all kept us waiting for more each week. I cannot say the same for B2. That is sad.
I mean I do understand why people still enjoyed it and were willing to overlook the negative aspects or didn’t have much of a problem with them to begin with. Blades 1 was a fan favorite, we all missed these characters a lot, and many people (myself included at one point) didn’t believe we would actually get book 2 because of all the bait and switches PB had done in the past. But the first two things are why I personally couldn’t overlook the glaring issues.
I can’t remember who the OP was now, but I remember seeing a post from when book 2 only had a few chapters out where someone said something about it seeming like the writers learned all the wrong things about what made the book so good, and I couldn’t agree with that person more! Yeah, book 1 was good because it was different from anything we had ever gotten before. But I think the main reason it was so good was because of the characters as individuals and the relationships we got to form with those individuals to ultimately become a family. Yet they didn’t really acknowledge those individuals or relationships in ways that did them justice for the majority of book 2. And on top of that, MC’s own characterization was inconsistent at times because the writers picked and chose when they wanted us to be a competent leader and when they wanted us to be virtually clueless for plot convenience.
Book 1 was also relatively straightforward whereas it seemed like the writers wanted to turn the sequel into their own personal commentary on religion, which is an incredibly complex topic in itself. They had some social commentary in book 1, but it was done a lot better in my opinion because it didn’t take so much of a front seat. They managed to make it clear that that commentary was important and relevant to the writers, the characters, and the readers living in the real world while never robbing book 1 of that fun adventure game used for escapism feel. Meanwhile, book 2 almost felt like ‘Rising Tides but make it religion’ at times. And that’s on top of all of the other issues I’ve already mentioned in my previous posts.
I will say that I can see how there’s usually a lot of pressure to blow things out of the water for a sequel to something so beloved, and that most likely contributed to how things played out. So maybe I’m being a bit too harsh in my judgement of everything. But I still find it very disappointing to wait so long for something just for it to be so messy and miss the mark by a mile
