THIS TOOK ALL DAY hhhhhfffggf the love and hate for this outfit is equal and immesurable.

Oh my gods I don't know what this fucking outfit is. I assume the top is like armored Kevlar or something and it covers the sleeves/arms. So first guess, it's a chest piece. BUT THEN there's a clasp thing on the right shoulder. Making me think it's attached to something keeping it in place. Or it's a weapon holster idk. And the feet, have like a different color on the very bottom. I assume cause its easier to distinguish where their toes may be but who knows. Also I've always hated the pants on minifig gi's because the legs are all one color and then there's the knee armor. But the traditional ninja gi's do not have knee armor. They're laced up at the shin/ankle. And for whatever reason I kept the top hood/scarf thing that is separated for easy lego removal and made it a hood. Cause the regular gi IS UNDER THE ARMOR PLATE. It's the same color as the pants with no breaks and a tad on the neck implying a bodysuit or something very long.

I really like the alternates might switch between them and pray nobody notices. Personal fave is 3 but it deviates a lot.

Long story short, i kept the important things, color corrected to match my style a little better and i decided i hate this thing. But love what i attempted to do with it.

Terrified by how this is gonna play out. Dragon/oni imagery in ninjago has famously always ended well for the characters involved.

i love that in the ninjago fandom we truly are treating the characters like barbie dolls and doing our own shit with them. you can just completely ignore plot points or seasons and nobody gaf. sure give that character traits they don’t have in the show. yes those two obscure characters who’ve never met would be in love. tell me about your au where your favorite side character goes on a life changing adventure that never happens in canon. make up new lore about a species in the series. create new storylines for the characters. make new characters. it’s the wild west out here

The Sham | Lost Memories | Khan

C!Nadakhan will be referred to as Khan in from now on, especially on Lost Memories but not with Origins especially on writing unless the timeline in Origins is after Jay gave C!Nadakhan the Nickname or after.

Jay was inside his office, bored and held no motivation whatsoever to fill in all the paperwork he had been putting off, desperate for a distraction Jay turned to Khan. “so… if you're a ghost… Does that mean that's what you looked like when you died? Or can you change your appearance like y’know make yourself into all big and scary?”

Khan narrows its hollow eyes at Jay, placing a hand on its hip and sighed. “Again I am not a Ghost. but… yes I can change my appearance just as you described as big and scary”

Jay's eyes widened before they began to sparkle with mischief. “Really?” He asked almost excitedly as if this was a perfect distraction for him to not do his paperwork.

Khan raised a brow as it crossed its arms, “Yes?”

Jay grins, unintentionally baring his fangs. “have you tried changing your appearance other than looking all scary like maybe your clothes? Your hair? Heck you could try looking entirely unrecognizable and become someone entirely new than well…” Jay looks up and down at Khan's armor and general attire with a raised brow. “That. I mean it does the job, but you could try something new for a change.”

“something… new?” Khan blinks as it hums thoughtfully at Jay’s idea. “But… I don't know what to wear? I've never thought of changing my attire since no one can even see me other than you… and well Dan.”

Jay, again held that mischievous and pure sparkle of excitement in his eyes. “Would you be willing to accept my help on picking your wardrobe? Who knows you might like whatever look you might end up in.

Khan doesn't respond, simply floating in front of Jay and looking into his eyes. “Khan?” Jay's demeanor changed instantly to cautious worry when he called out to his friend.

Khan snapped itself back before quickly responding, “I… I’ll give it a shot.”

Jay blinks a bit surprised that his friend agreed but quickly smiles as he jumps up from his office chair with child-like excitement, before taking Khan by the arm and dragging Khan to Jay’s workshop.

One of what will likely be several iterations/drafts of Cole from my AU!

In this AU, Cole is the Captain of the Guard, following in his mother’s footsteps as a warrior of the empire. He knew Zane since they were kids, and had harboured feelings long before he even knew it himself, and fell in love with the others after meeting them later on.

I’m still struggling trying to design the armour/uniform he’d wear. It is heavily based on what I could find on Chinese armour, and armour designs made for danmei and Chinese historic-fantasy genres. But even with this flexibility, designing armour is incredibly difficult. Hopefully, this fits though.

For anyone who might be curious, this and a design I made for Zane is for my AU “The Emperor with the Warm Heart” (TEWTWH) - a long fanfiction project I am planning to write - hopefully soon!

Any suggestions or critiques with this design it welcome!
