It is a time of happiness, fortune and celebration. As well as time with loved ones. Aleklah invited Lylah to Moonglade, just outside of Nighthaven, those gathered in the town would be celebrating the night letting paper lanterns float into the skies.
The draenei and kaldorei unfortunately would miss this display.
Ok so team Rainbow started with 5 ctu’s right. SAS, FBI, GIGN, GSG9, and Spetsnaz. GIGN and Spetsnaz got the addition of Lion and Finka respectively.
Along comes Nighthaven and they take a few ops. Of the original ctus they take one FBI, one SAS, one Spetsnaz, one GSG9. But you know who’s ctu doesn’t flinch? The French. Of the og ctus the GIGN are the only one who don’t lose someone to Nighthaven. Despite Doc and Lion’s beef that’s gotta say something about how close knit they are.
As a huge fan of Doc and the GIGN in general I can say with full confidence they are clearly the best ctu. Just my opinion but I am correct.
Fun fact: since quitting from the military isn't as easy as in a normal office job, the ops who ditched Rainbow (and their respective CTUs!!!) for NH are now considered criminals in their countries for desertion.
Once you're in the military you are contractually obligated to see your commitment through, and cannot be discharged (aka, be allowed to quit) unless for medical reasons. So they can only quit once the term they signed up for is over. Besides, since they're on loan to Rainbow, if they quit their CTUs Rainbow would be notified too, and I doubt everyone would be so surprised by them leaving.
But that's not all! As @shadowfirecat brought to my attention, apparently Grim could also be considered a criminal in his country:
So, I can only see two possible answers to all this:
A) The writers didn't research jackshit and are going just for the cool and shock factor, Hollywood style (points in favor: the atrocity that was Thunderbird's comic, with Nokk firing live ammo on the base aiming at a fellow operator, and she received no punishment whasover).
B) The writers actually know and it's intentional that Kali is surrounding herself with people considered criminals in their countries, all to heighten their dependence on her and make her control more absolute. She (and NH) by extension, are the clear antagonists and this whole situation is by design.
Okay so this is all of the voicelines from the 2F Meeting Room in the new Nighthaven map. I put it in order of the characters and then the random mission logs at the end.
You can also see the video on youtube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dl2GRkr3cVU&ab_channel=WTSM104.2TheGray
In order the characters are Ela, Finka, IQ, Pulse, Smoke, Kali, Osa, Wamai, Ace, Aruni and Grim.
I want to say Braise would probably support Ash more. She does believe in doing the right thing without using her teammates as bait, like it happened during the game.
I also feel like Ash believes more in the concept of teamwork and using every abilities to their advantage, whereas Kali uses more extreme measures to obtain what she wants. Braise does like to work as a team, even when she choses these more extreme measures, she’ll communicate it to the rest of the squad.
The fact that Kali does not take Rainbow seriously and is mainly here for her own gain would definitely anger Braise, who thinks operators like them should act selflessly.
So here it is! She’d most definitely support Ash and it was planned later on that’d she be a part of Redhammer.
