aera was alone, aligned with the world, exactly where she belonged. everything was familiar and even in the darkest reaches of night, her feet knew where to go. she was home.
the forest was alive, spilling with music, breathing along with the beat of her heart. a choir of insects hummed while an expanse of white trees danced in the mist, and aera swirled through them, her long hair billowing. she glanced around to admire the scenery and realized the trees had no leaves at all. white birds lined each branch as far as the eye could see, their feathers shimmering beneath a brilliant moon.

Kind of brainstorming for Ramshackle uniform and how different Students and Dorm leaders fit would be? Like end of the day dorm leader uniforms are just little bit different versions of the regular uniform (expect Riddles but thats cuz riddle modified it)
The basic insp for the Ramshackle uniform is foulfellow/honest john with his fancy clothes(that are patched) but instead I wanted it to be raincoat themed because ramshackle is well.. ramshackled there must be a roof leak somewhere haha, Other insps were ramshackles ghosts and lil bit of crowley..

Aka Lone wolf Jasper's commander.
She is a calm and well behaved agate that did her part well into blue diamond's court during era 1 and 2. She may was a bit disciplining, but always kind to her quartz soldiers.
She used to be annoyed with Holly blue bragging about how perfect she was and how lucky she was to serve a diamond like Blue.
Grape gave Night blue pearl to Lone wolf when he was around 10 000 years old. It was a gift to congratulate him for his thousands of years of flawless service.
The news of Lone wolf not being able to make it to the warp on time completely humbled Grape Agate. After the war ended, she planned to build the memorial hallway and Night blue's room in pink diamond's zoo. Ever since then, Grape came to visit the hallway often, but couldn't enter Night blue since she forbbade anyone to enter it, as she wished to mourn in peace.

We can all root for poly in Deep Night, which I'm definitely on board with (they're practically the only reason besides the neon lights and Freya and Meji that I'm still watching this).
But.
Bringing up poly in a conversation with your new boyfriend (if it's Pan), your boyfriend and childhood friend (if it's Seji), and your childhood friend (if it's Ken) requires a lot of courage and trust that the other party/parties won't take it the wrong way.
If the series wants to go for the throuple, rather than having it stay in Pan's daydream, I need a real conversation between all three. And I want it to be nerve-wracking at first (because that's how it would be unless you were really, really comfortable with the others) before they come to an agreement.
And I want them to come to an agreement. An agreement to be together. Because I. NEED. POLY.

#i don't think i realised before that the entire lief section of book one takes place in like. less than 24 hours lol.#lief truly gets home after sunset learns about his parents' past learns barda's secret gets a sword a cloak a map a belt and a quest#sneaks out of the city with barda wanders into the forest gets caught by monsters gets looted by some random girl almost gets eaten#has a treetop midnight snack sets out again travels branch to branch for the rest of the night fights a ghost almost dies AGAIN#gets saved by the same random girl who was looting him earlier brings barda back to life and finds a magic gem.#by which point it's like brunchtime the next day. truly one of the birthdays of all time.#deltora quest#roddacember#roddacember 2023
