question - what is the bad batch rewrite and where will it be posted?

it is a rewrite of the Star Wars animated show, the bad batch—though in chapter form, not in a way that's meant to be translated to the screen—that shares its name and follows a similar premise (a squad of experimental troopers resist Order 66 and go on the run in the early days of the Galactic Empire).

my main goal with this, aside from redesigning the bad batch's whitewashed models, is to explore what I think the show should've been about, which is, what happened to the clones after the war, ie what happens to a soldier who's no longer needed? I'll be posting the rewrite on ao3 under fiftypiercings.

I like to imagine Mobei about the au with og!qinghua and qing-two-a (badum tss) is just the "Holy shit two cakes" thing. This is his snake qinghua and this is his rat qinghua. They're both nasty little things but one of them is venomous so you have to be careful with that one. Either way, he has two of them and you will not separate him from them.

YES YES YES HE HAS TWO SHANG QINGHUA'S!!! AND HE'S IN LOVE WITH BOTH!!!!

One is crying and sweating, and the other is plotting and scheming, but they both steal his heart.

I was looking at the line work you do and was wondering: do you ink it physically and then scan it, or is it fully digital? It's really good and gives a solid grit to it and adds texture to your works. How do you do that?

99% of what I post here is all digital because I don’t really have access to a scanner very often! my inking style looks the way it does because I draw traditionally in my sketchbooks a LOT and the way I ink digitally is Exactly The Same as I do traditionally (which is why you see a lot of double lines in my inking, stray lines, or scribbling when I fill in solid blacks without the fill tool, I also always turn off any stabilization features a brush might have bc I don’t like the way it feels) and I often go looking for brushes that are gritty or crunchy so that it looks similar to the pens I use on paper!

You can see a bunch of the stray lines and general scribbling I did here, which is exactly what my irl sketchbooks look like, and the circled brushes (I edited these after I downloaded them all to have 0 stabilization) are the ones I used for it!

i saw our birdlady on my feed and was compelled to share an update, so i got my wife to get pictures of her, where she is currently serving as high priestess to the eldritch god in our living room

we were so lucky to get her and she brings us joy every day, thank you so much! would love to see more birdladies in the future if that is ever in the cards <3

i love seeing ur art on my dash, regardless of the fandom! u have such an awesome style - ur poses r always fun and homey, ur characters really feel like Real People and they inhabit the spaces you put them in. your attention to details with clothes is also amazing - im sure youve worked really hard to draw so beautifully. thanks for sharing ur art ^_^

Its no trouble!! I use an iPad Pro, clip studio, and these are the brushes I use; I also love the default gouache brush that clip offers for when I work with color!

When will scout be released? Heavy and Medic are waiting for their adopted nephew very patiently…… (they are NOT patient and have been complaining for the past 3 hours)
