This is a good one guys. Rated M. Right off the bat it hit all the good spots for me when I read fics. Alternate Universe. Magic. Porsche being an absolute BAMF. And it has that distinct Dark! Kinn flavour that I really really love. Obbsessed kinn for the win. get yourself a porsche baby. “You’re mine. Say it.” “I’m yours,”

2. mirror, mirror by @wiccawrites

Rated E. YOU KNOW I LOVE THE SEXY TIMES. This one is so well written. the scene setting, the lead up to the climax (wink wink) was awesome. It builds up well. definitely one of the best explicit fics written for Kinnporsche being kinky bastards. Mirror sex written well. Orgasm denial my love

3. The power in the taking by @iffervescent

Ah this fic was one of the first few posted for the fandom. and if you haven't read it you've gotta go read it now. It's got the characterisations down to the T. Absolutely love Kinn Porsche who dont talk to each other. also love how shameless kinn is in this like yeah i get that. Rated E and has one of the best written sex scenes ngl

“Pliant…and obedient.” Kinn says.

4. Alone Together by bewarethetraclepuppies

NOW LISTEN TO ME. I usually don't deviate much from the usual Kinn x Porsche pairing. but this one. ITS SO GOOD. Its Kinn x Porsche x Big. From Big's POV, there is ANGST and there is hurt and there most definitely is | comfort | This bad boy is 20016 words and i will let you know i was hanging onto every word. It just finished updating like. yesterday. SO GO READ IT. getting together in the forest is so onbrand for them.

Porsche rolls his eyes at him and stands up. “I’d slap you upside the head but you’re already hurt. I’m gonna set this snare, okay? There’s this fucking mouse that’s been bothering you at night and I’m gonna fuck it up.”

“I can see you,” Big whispers.

Kinn smiles. “I see you, too.”

5. Silvered Perceptions by @nuwildcat

Now this one. I've been waiting for it since @nuwildcat posted a little snippet for it. AND WOW. I'm a slut for A/B/O universe but i go crazier when its for KinnPorsche. BAMF competent porsche does things to me. Rated E, 3 chapters so far and i've gone crazy over all of them. The characterisation is amazing. the whole thing is well written. and mama theerapanyakul has a lot more influence on this fic's Kinn and that's just delicious.

“Till next time, Porsche.” And with that he’s gone, leaving Porsche behind with slightly shaky knees.

6. Starry eyes sparking up my darkest night by cherry_apples22

Ok so. Alternate universes are usually tricky to read, cus sometimes they don't hit right. but this one does. Its Alternate Universe- Fantasy. Dark Kinn and Dark Porsche. with just the right deliciousness. it is also written really well and makes it so easy to just. visualise the scenes and really get into the overall tone of this oneshot. a lovely little fuck you to korn in there too.

“Don’t let that pretty little head get any delicious ideas…” “…Ideas about how many men and women would kill to have you look at them with those eyes and have that beautiful mouth all over their skin.”

7. Squeeze a little, tease a little more by @mirrorofprinces

Jae never misses. this oneshot is absolutely delicious, brat porsche is so dear to me. Kinn and Porsche are horny bastards and jae gets it right i love that for me. Written really well, the scene is absolutely fap worthy. And that's saying smth.

"Porsche knows he’s tucked up well under the desk, theoretically completely hidden, but..."

8. darling, you ain't seen nothin' yet by Kai Fennimore

Chaotic competent Porsche lovers riseeeeee. BAMF porsche is a delight to read. Rated G. and it's got one more chapter to go. It's slightly unserious but i love it for that. Porsche collects all the nongs.

"Something feels wrong. Porsche felt it the second the meeting with the Italians ended, the sudden shift in the air, the heavy tension."

9. Ill-fitting and tattred by Vicyvn

Post-canon Mafia head Porsche and how he absolutely rocks a dress. So sexy T _ T you won't believe it but my ears went red reading this fic. Kinn Porsche and how i love that the author shares my love for breeding kink because HELL YEA. "Words on the note are written as ‘Kinn’s spouse’, but Porsche understands they’re read as 'Kinn’s whore'."

10. How do you like it, daddy by @baby-droll

This is a series. And its absolutely amazing. The whole premise is delicous and each of the four fics is amazing. KinnPorsche A/B/O verse. it's toxic and that just makes it all the more flavoursome. Dark Kinn who's out here doing the most to Porsche. Just a list of explicit tags that are my favourite. Porsche gets himself a mate.

Initial Thoughts on TOMORROW X TOGETHER's The Name Chapter: Freefall

Ok so i just listened to TNC: Freefall in full and damn, okay. Really solid album, sonically. And i say sonically bc i haven't read up on the lyrics just yet (i don't think the eng trans are out yet ☹️)

Am loving how they're showcasing more of their vocals (txt lower register enthusiasts, we are being fed at last 😭) and the whole band/session feels of the music really emphasizes that.

can we take a minute to talk about beomkai's vocals?? bc i really think this might be their era 🥹 and seeing as all of the boys have at least 2 credits to their name in this album, it really feels like this is their sound, and their personal music preferences came through too

i'm on the fence about DILT's inclusion in the album though. we all know it was not a planned track at all but it was a really good opportunity for them to collaborate and have a fun summer track out before headlining lolla 2023.

that said, it just doesn't seem to fit in (at least sonically) in this album. i don't know if moving it higher up in the tracklist would have been better since i haven't read the lyrics yet but sonically, it might have worked more since the more powerful/complex sounding tracks are in the first half, imo

but overall, this album is full of surprises, and very good ones at that!! I'm sure i'll love it even more when i listen to it again but yeah, from the first listen alone, i would recommend this album!!!

My first impression: Ngl I did NOT care about her. I did not know who she was and why we were getting introduced to her (I was skimming through the CCG parts cause I was an IDIOT and did not care about anyone outside the Kaneki group and was terrible with names so I didn't even realize she was the daughter of the crazy guy from the early chapters so. oops)

My impression now: She has issues!! And she's pretty!! Therefore I love her <33 But yeah she's probably one of my top 5 favourite characters in tg and she's underrated imo. But yeah she needs therapy. Also she's a lot more chaotic then people give her credit for.

Favourite thing about that character: I like the whole idea of her character, like she comes off as cold and really strong when deep down she's lost so many people and yet she doesn't have anyone to talk to and can't express her emotions properly and there's something I love about that <3

Least favourite thing: Uh... hard to really think of one, I guess it kind of feels like after she goes off with Amon she just becomes irrelevant to the story which sucks but I might be wrong since I haven't read the later parts of tg:re in a while

Favourite line/scene: The scene where she defends Takizawa. Other than the obvious seiaki brainrot, it's also really important to her character development. She's watched people she's loved die so many times, and she's been holding in her grief for so long, and idk I just thought it was such a pretty scene and I think it was nice to see the emotions she's been bottling up finally come to the surface.

Favourite interaction that character has with another: Her scene with Hinami and Touka was really wholesome, I thought it was nice :>

A character that I wish that character would interact with more: The quinx squad, she interacts with Haise a bunch but I wanna see her relationship with the others too

Another character from another fandom that reminds me of that character: Can't really think of one sorry

A headcanon about that character: One time she was walking with Takizawa for whatever reason and they passed by a pawn shop and one of the things in the window was a fucked up cat figurine which she was immediately entranced with and Takizawa jokingly said she should buy it which she did and now she has a shelf full of fucked up cat figures that she lovingly maintains

A song that reminds of that character: Uh... Oh No! by Marina fits her pretty well I think...

An unpopular opinion about that character: I don't know much about the fandom's actual perception of her but she seems like the kind of character the fandom would designate as the "braincell holder" which. She is not. She gave her BOSS a speech about why being polite is a waste of time. "Oh we can actually save 2,000 seconds a year if I don't say please." Bonus points is the fact she probably just did it for shits and giggles. She does not give a shit and she does not have the braincell.

12! And it's steadily increasing as I get more (and randomly) ideas to write fics bout >:3c

126,004! Whoooaaa... That's a lot :o Ngl, I barely visit the statistics of my ao3 account so I didn't expect that one.

How many fandoms have you written for, and what are they?

Okay, so... it's 5? I think. On my main ao3 account it's 2 though! OMORI and Mahoyaku! Buuuut! I've written for Persona 5 (with Magic Kaito) but I'm... too shy to put it in my ao3 account so it's just in my tumblr. The other 2 is somewhere else... (I've written a oneshot for Genshin Impact in an old ao3 account that I don't wanna open up again cuz it's so embarrassing for me... I don't even wanna read that oneshot, I'd die of embarrassment. And the other one is Honkai Impact 3rd, I forgot where I put that one but I do know I wrote a oneshot with Bronya and Seele for it).

Top five fics by kudos:

It's all from OMORI!

Once again, from the beginning - I did not really expect this one to have as much kudos as it has now, like, tbf yea it's my most well planned one but it's still so crazy to see the kudos on it-- wai when did it pass that number-- I never really check the kudos but wtf happened here.

The Tune of the New Morning - How did this one get that many kudos too??? This is my very first OMORI fic and ngl, whenever I look at it I get the very strong urge to rewrite everything from the beginning cuz of how badly planned it is. If OAFB is well planned, this one is terribly planned. I literally make things up as I go.

Magician in the Mirror - Is in the top 3!!! Lookit!!! :D The work I'm proudest in cuz this is my 2nd fic and also the one I just went ham on! I wanted it out during anni and it was all a last minute thing but I'm so glad it turned out well despite that!

The Pawn and the Bishops - I didn't expect to see this one here but alas... it is... I quite like this one though! It's the first one I've written with a fairly heavy and gloomy atmosphere and I think I did pretty good on it!

And thus, the snake ate no more - I see you're here too... This one is actually like a mix of my planning between OAFB and TNM in which that it's in the middle of well planned and terribly planned. Think of it as the middle child of my longfics. With OAFB being the spoiled youngest and TNM the unplanned first child.

Do you respond to comments?

YES! As much as I can! I like receiving comments and I like responding to them as best as I can but I also get pretty nervous bout it... so I end up barely responding anyway oh boooooo.

What's the fic with the angstiest ending you've ever written?

I??? Don't think? I have written any with an angsty ending yet? I'm a sucker for hurt/comfort so most of the fics I've written so far always had a happy ending so! Maybe in the future 👀 Maybe.

Do you write crossovers?

Is the Kaito Kuroba from Magic Kaito in Persona 5 now as Akiren and Co.'s friend stuff I've written considered crossover? If so then yes! It's actually pretty fun to write one! :D

Have you ever gotten hate on a fic?

I don't think so? Pretty happy that I haven't yet, thank goodness!

Do you write smut?

Nope! I don't know if I would though, truth be told I don't have much knowledge with writing smut, I barely read any stories (novel wise) with it as a guideline cuz I... I can't visualize it well enough, my brain is not equipped for it (I try to read smut and spend the next few minutes figuring out the characters' positions. Yall smut writers out there impressive with it cuz honestly how).

I HAVE!!! AM SO HAPPY BOUT IT!!! :D Someone translated Magician in the Mirror to Chinese and it's so cool!!! I think there's only a Chapter 1 of it but it's so cool and nice and sweet and awwwwww.

What’s your all-time favorite ship?

Alright, sit down. This is very important. I need you to listen closely, attentively, and carefully... I Love CaiOwe/OweCai. I LOVE CAIN/OWEN!!! OWEN/CAIN!!! CAIN&OWEN I LOOOOOVVVEEE ANYTHING WITH CAIN AND OWEN!!! It's my all-time favourite ship, nothing can compare to Cain and Owen from the hit japanese game, Mahoutsukai no Yakusoku aka Mahoyaku aka mhyk aka Promise of Wizard. They're my most favourite ship I'd go to war for em, I love em so so much, I adore em sooooooo much, I see any fanart of em and my day gets better immediately. They're my lifeblood, my ambrosia, my everything. I love caiowe/owecai with all my heart...

What’s a WIP that you want to finish, but don’t think you ever will?

Looks at oafb, tnm, and attsanm... I'd like to believe that regardless of how much time had passed, I would be able to finish any of those three though. Hyperfixation gone or not, I wanna finish em!

What are your writing strengths?

I think it'd be monologue? Inner monologue? What do you call that thing where it's just the narrator focusing on the characters' thoughts and feelings and their overall view on the situation??? I think I'm pretty good at that, maybe. And somehow I'm good at accidentally setting things up, I don't know how but I just accidentally do things that connects stuff.

What are your writing weaknesses?

Dialogues... I'm so bad with dialogues most of the time I spend in writing is getting the dialogues right. I think it's pretty neat! :o I feel like I've seen fics like that before but can't really remember though I did think it added detail to the story of it!

What was the first fandom you ever wrote for?

Uhhh, I think it waaaaass Honkai Impact 3rd? I think it was the Bronya and Seele fic I've written somewhere that or it was the Genshin Impact fic instead. It was either of those two.

What’s your favorite fic you’ve written so far?

Magician in the Mirror!!! It's my favourite I've written so far and the one I'm proudest of! And a lil biased, but the latest favourite one that I've just recently written is Look back, Orpheus which is a fic for caiowe from mhyk! Once again, from the beginning is the 2nd favourite though :3

90% of my SS screenshots are madara or kohaku however oh my god i didnt truly get how funny ibara is until i read this. like my thoughts on him are he is an evil little creature who for some reason has so much power it's insane

THE WHOLE CONSPIRACY ABOUT THE GODFATHER BEING REPLACED i think i had to reread it like 3 times because what the Fuck. enstars LOVES replacement subplots. i also didnt really know much about nagisa before, i'd seen the eden anime eps and my first 5* in 2020 was his dream of the wasteland card. i find him really endearing, and and see.. unlike madara, /i/ can understand his ramblings <33 eden are just very compelling i think, theyre the most keychain-core of the cast i would get eden merch. have i mentioned kohaku yet no i haven't um okay so he's actually my favorite character in SS ngl

his entire role in this story feels a little protagonist-like. wanting so Badly to just fly around the world to find madara because the guy won't answer a single message and he's tied down by the preliminary regulations that Somehow rinne has decided they're following. he worries about mama getting into trouble but equally thinks about his life in general. how madara sacrifices his own happiness and dreams for the sake of working for the lesser-evil of justice. constantly on the move and he's never got his guard down, always pretending.

kohaku's inner monologues are just so, profound and thoughtful, i adore him. he's very caring

"Once I rip off all those masks you're wearin', I know I'll be able t'see the real you."

ALSO HIS ANALYSIS ON THE IDOL INDUSTRY??? i hate that this 15 year old is so eloquent he makes me insane.

OH MY GOD AND i loooved kohaku's interactions with eve. learning about how their respective units contrast eachother— but they both have similar roots of "everyone involved has a rough past"

Twenty Questions for Fic Writers

Thanks for thinking of me @yoellglia ! I had fun reading your answers and even more so trying to answer myself :)

1. How many works do you have on A03?

Jeez, should I consider both of my accounts? Let's do it, why not.

I have 12 fics in total. 7 for Tennis RPF and 5 for the DC Universe.

2. What's your total A03 word count?

37,211 words combined. Ngl, I thought it would be less than that as there are only two multi-chaptered fics and the rest are one-shots. Hopefully, I'll add some more words in the upcoming months :)

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Currently, I only write Tennis RPF. I've been toying with a few ideas for the Good Omens fandom, but I haven't opened a new doc yet. And I used to write for the DC Universe, but I haven't done that in ages.

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

(I’m gonna keep this Tennis RPF only bc this blog is tennis themed)

Waking in the Night Light: Fedal share their first kiss in a parking lot.

A New Target: Fedal have sex in the locker room.

Moonlight in Paris: Rafa goes to Roger's hotel room.

Strawberry & Dulce de Leche: Roger and Rafa get ice cream.

Somewhere or Other: Fedal phone call.

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

Yes yes yes! At least I try to. Although more often than not I get the notification, reply in my head, then forget to actually write back, and I'm too embarrassed to answer if more than a week has gone by… so apologies for that. That doesn't mean I don’t appreciate every single comment I have ever gotten, they always make my day in fact.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Mmh… perhaps Moonlight in Paris. It's not angst per se but it does have an overall sense of uncertainty.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Strawberry & Dulce de Leche, definitely. Rafa's joy at the possibility of Roger going to his birthday party is everything.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

No, thankfully. I’m glad I haven't unlocked that side of fandom yet.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I do, but I consider myself a newbie at it (smut writers, pls teach me your ways).

Generally speaking, I prefer it when smut has a little plot. It doesn't have to be anything complicated or serious, I just need a bit of a story behind what's happening for it to feel more organic. I also like it when the focus is on the emotional aspect of it, though descriptive can be nice as well. And I don't mind wordy smut as longs as it doesn't mess with the flow.

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

Nope, and I'm not a big fan of those tbh

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Story time! Yes 💀 Although it wasn't the whole thing, just a fragment. The fic in question was None but the Lonely Heart for the DCEU. And I only found out bc a lovely person left a comment on my fic, letting me know what had happened and the link to the other fic. I checked and the writer had indeed literally copied and pasted one of my scenes, they'd just changed the names of the characters. So I reached out to the AO3 team and they took care of everything.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

No. Stef and I had an idea for a Fedal fic, but who knows if we'll ever get to actually write it lol

14. What's your all time favourite ship?

I don't think I have one, really. I would say my main ones/the ones I keep coming back to are Fedal (Roger Federer/Rafael Nadal) and Superbat (Superman/Batman). Though right now I've been reading almost exclusively Ineffable Husbands (Aziraphale/Crowley), so it mostly depends on my hyperfixation at the time

15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Oof, that might be a Superbat (long) fic set post BvS, where resurrected Clark has lost his powers (and the sun seems to actually make him sick now), so Bruce helps him to get back on his feet and of course they fall in love in the process. I have the whole thing outlined, sheets of dialogues and a couple of scenes already fleshed out, but I took a break from the fandom bc it was draining me out. Idk, maybe one day I'll get back to it. I mean, never say never and all that, but it's looking highly improbable right now

16. What are your writing strengths?

I think I'm good at setting the tone of scenes, be it fluffy, angsty, whatever.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I tend to write in long, long sentences. Seriously, you should see my drafts, sometimes a whole paragraph can be a single sentence. I don't know if it's due to my Spanish hard-wired brain or what, but I’m working on breaking things up a bit more.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I love it! But you need to make sure readers will still get the message through context, so I think it's best to stick to single words and/or common phrases. Unless, of course, you want to leave your character (and thus your readers) feeling confused.

I do it often when I’m writing Rafa and it's part of the reason I love writing him so much.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

DC Universe

20. Favourite fic you've written?

Tough question… can I say an unpublished one? I have this sort of introspection/character study of Domi, his struggles coming back on tour after the wrist injury and dealing with all the ups and downs. There's not a story to it per se, like I'm not trying to get him from A to B. It's just a dive into his mind, where it gets kinda dark real quick, and it's unlike what I usually go for in tennis fics (fluff), so I've been enjoying the challenge of getting out of my comfort zone there

6. Kinda weird, but for CS it's when Hadrian and Riddle are sitting in Riddle's office, completely in peace (before they both go full dumbass mode). That scene probably got to me because CS started with Hadrian being Lily's puppet, his desire for revenge going strong to him now sitting besides Riddle, hoping that he'll ask him to stay in Britain.

7. The first chapter of bloodied hands & and velvet sheets, knowing what will happen next.

8. What's there not to like? But if I've to choose, I'll pick plot and characterization.

9. Literally all of them. I can't wait to see more of Regulus and Harry, what will Grindelwald do now that he knows that Harry is the Master of Death in ybtm, the third task in CS etc.

10. Barty and Harry, Regulus and Riddle, Regulus and Harry - never thought about those ship, had my eyes only for Harry and Riddle. I love them all now.

11. ILYWT!!! Also, some cross overs between your fics. It'd be so much fun to see how each of them react to different versions of themselves.

12. CS, ybtm, TLWD(BTPS), Reckless Hearts...just all of them basically.

Ooooh though I love that that is the 'vivid' scene for CS! It's such a subtle one, but you're right in that it has so much meaning. Their relationship has progressed so much - and then, as you say, they both turn into dumbasses 😂

BH&VS chapter 2 will be finished - I swear. It sounds mean but I gotta get Luna. I have to. I want people cry. And I'm blushing over the characterisation and ships bit. Having people unexpectedly like a story with a character/ship/plot they had never thought about before is delightful!

ILYWT is high on my list to be written, and maybe I'll dabble in oneshots for some of my crossovers. I kinda wanna see Hadrian and Ciro!Harry interact, ngl.

As for your question, from initial idea to first chapter:

CS: week/two weeks

ybtm: about a month

TLWD(BTPS): couple of months, it started as a tumblr post

BH&VS: about six months, it started as a tumblr post and I wanted to get the first chapter out for skitty's birthday

I can't really remember for the other stories, to be honest? On average I'd say it'd be maybe two weeks - month to form an idea, start planning it out, then writing, then posting.

Grrr. Tumblr ate the mostly written post because of course it did. Thank you for asking, Mia 💕 These were really fun to answer (and also hard). For someone who's really her worst critic, I do enjoy talking about my process and whatnot. I'm sorry in advance for all the rambling.

🙅‍♀️ What is one trope you refuse to ever write?

I just don't see myself doing incest or bestiality. If we're talking more general things, I can't see myself writing cheating (with the asterisk of this being one member of the couple straying, and that there are possible situations where I wouldn't mind). Also, anything extremely violent, mostly because it's not something I often consume in media.

🤔 What’s one genre you’ve never written that you’d like to try?

Oh, maybe action and/or suspense? My writing style (intimate moments, conversations, just vibes) is not the most compatible, but if the situation arose... Sure! (I guess that, in a past life, I wrote around mysteries and crime and whatnot. I was too young then 😬 )

I also would love to be better at writing stories-within-stories. I absolutely do not have the talent to convincingly seem like the talented writers I'm doing. (Once again thinking of the fluffy memoir fic. And another one, which has a super fun premise, but my writing is failing it with this aspect, I fear.)

And not a genre specifically but collaboration? Again, I have super talented friends. I'd stick out like a sore thumb. I think it'd be fun!

🏅 What is the fic you’re most proud of?

I am my own worst critic but I would still probably say all of them, maybe? I saw something in them that I thought might connect with others and that's why they're out there. Even the ones that aren't (so many of them) and might never see the light of day. Writing isn't easy. It makes me nervous and makes me crave validation.

Anyway. The pageant answer is still true but as for actual ones, but using the way I would mentally refer to them, lol.

Big Block of Cheese 2008. I just saw it's at almost 100 kudos... excuse me what. I just felt it was something special from the moment I wrote it. I think I always would've posted it at some point, even if I hadn't made friends. None of my fics come close to it in terms of "love" and tbh, I'm fine with it.

St. Augustine. Just because it came to me so fast (I think it was mostly written in a morning?) and IDK, I love the scene. This one has broken out from most of my other purely CJD stories, whether it was timing or it getting recommended by the right people. It was nerve wracking writing something pre-canon but I think it went well! It was fun to write. I haven't read it in forever so I reserve the right to remove it from the list.

Obviously, star shine started it all but if I had a third spot... Portland. It's probably one of my flops (everything is, but this one especially) and yet. I recall being so proud right after I finished it and wanting people to read it. (It obviously grew since then because I can't shut up.) It's long, maybe unnecessarily so, but god does it get to me. I was in a writing rut (see next answer) and challenged myself to write 'canon' stories, and I think the two are good.

But... To be honest, the answer has to be my unposted multichapter. I always think it's bad until I read it, and it kinda hits, all imperfections aside. 150k words in 5-and-a-bit months (26/3 to 2/9?), 33 chapters. I wrote 2/3 of that in two months (with 19 being the last one I wrote before 19/5), until my muse decided she was done and I decided to actually change jobs. (I also wrote now-published fics like haunted by the notion or don't want you to go, as well as a bunch of other smaller ones, in between! WTF was I on in 2021? I think the mini reunion altered my brain chemistry.) I've considered just dropping a link to the unedited, unbetaed drive on the server one day, ngl.

ANYWAY. Too long-winded!

☀️ Has anyone ever left you a comment that made your day? What did it say?

UM. All of them? real talk here, I don't get many comments so I love them all. I write for a show that ended 17 years ago, for a small (and surprisingly divisive) ship (their loss - there's so much talent) so I should've known going in. It took me some time to internalize it. I'm also not that good a writer, so I'll take it. Comments mean the world to me, even if it's a "lovely" or "great job." Just taking a few seconds means a lot and writers aren't kidding when they say it's motivating. It's also how I've made friends in the fandom so yeah! comments!

To highlight some rather recent ones!

Haunted by the notion got so many from so different people, and they were all so incredibly nice when I was terrified. All of those broke me, and might be the reason why I've been struggling with a followup! (And why I've been wanting to post again soon, rather than wait.) From the other stories, I have two ~recent ones~ I actually bookmarked because they broke me.

miabicicletta's (💕 ) on St. Augustine. I woke up on a Saturday and I remember reading it from bed and crying. It was so incredibly kind and lovely and I couldn't remember the last time anyone had written anything as long. I still think about it all the time. 🥂 (I've now realized Steph also wrote another lovely one ♥️ That story and the love it got, man.)

krazykitkat's on all's well + her comment on St. Augustine because her stories are some of my favorites. I couldn't believe that someone whose work I adored and have read countless times since I finished the show six years ago had read one of my stories, but had liked it???? Didn't compute. Doesn't compute. She's read many since (see St. Augustine, the most recent one), commented and left kudos on a bunch, and it still... blows my mind. (This one happened while I was flying back from Stockholm and was the first thing I saw when I landed.)

But really - so many people have left so many kind messages over the last couple of years, and I've probably gotten emotional at all of them. That there are people out there who are reading the silly little stories that have come out of my brain... wonders never cease.

Monday 23rd May 5:15 am.

You emailed Jesse for a meeting about his twins. His twins haven't done anything bad, actually quite the opposite. They have been fernonimal students and they were going to be awarded in the upcoming assembly for the end of the year.

You were waiting jesse to arrive. You putting spare paper away while gently singing [insert favourite song]. Jesse was already leaning on the door frame and watching you sing, he couldn't lie, he already liked you a lot. And you did too

He gently knocked on the door for your attention and your head immediately in embarrassment.

"Nice voice, you sing?"

"Uhm no not really."

"Your really good!"

"Shut up!" You say with a giggle

"I'm being serious!!"he chuckled back.

He sat down on a chair near the desk you were sitting at. You said what you had to tell him as a teacher,

"So would you like to see Lia and Leo be awarded at the upcoming assembly?? Or are you busy?"you asked professionally. But there was no response. Jesse was lost in your [eye colour] eyes. You felt your face getting hot and jesse already had a pink tint on his cheeks. He snaps out of it and and just muttered

"Uh yea yeah sure. Uhm will you be there?"

"Of course silly!"

You handed jesse a from for him to sign. You hadn't looked at the form yet as he left, he looked at the form he just signed in your hands, he looked back up at you and winked, the he left without a word. You flustered and confused. Your face was hot from the wink. You gazed at the form with a grin.

"Here's my number cutie. XXXXXXXXX"

The assembly just finished and jesse pulled you over to talk to you.

"Hey so, you free tonight? 7PM?"

boy were you flustered. You felt your cheeks grow hot. Jesse had always been this confident.

"I--im-uh-okay"

"Good, see you then"

6:58pm.

You wasn't sure where he was taking you or anything so you wore something simple, kind of?

7pm.

Jesse said he'd be here. You grab your beige coat and put your white boots on. You quickly sorted your hair out in the mirror. You had half up half down with a claw clip.

You heard a car pull up in your drive way. That must be him!

You waited for the doorbell to ring

**ring ring**

You take a couple seconds to open the door. To make it look like you weren't waiting at the door, which you were.

There stood jesse dressed in the same genre of you. Simple.

He takes a couple seconds memorizing you before he speaks

"Erh hi!"

"hello"

" you ready?"

"Yea.."

You guys walk back to his car.

7:30pm

You didn't recognise where you were going and looked over at jesse, stoic faced.

"Where are we going??"

"You'll have to wait and see!!"

Jesse keeps the same expression.

"Hey..? You okay??"

He turns to look at you. Takes a few seconds for him to answer.

"Yeah. Yeah I'm fine"

Same expression.

8:03pm.

You have noticed you guys have came near a beach. You questioned jesse, in your head. Where was he taking you? Or wait? Could he be taking you to your favourite place indeed??

He parks in a parking lot near a pier.

"Suprise!"

His expression changes into a grin. But you can tell hes still feeling, stoic.

"omg, how'd you know??"

"Lia told me, I'm guessing she asks you questions a lot??"

"Yeah she does!"

You guys stared at the pier with your favourite arcade sitting on it.

8:56pm

You guys were having the time of your life until the arcade closed. You guys walked out with a lot of tickets and a fluffy blanket jesse had won for you.

He brings you down to the beach.

"Can I?"

He signalling to carry you.

You didn't know what to say. You weren't flustered, we kinda, you just didn't know.

"Uhm sure go ahead."

He pulls a smug grin and Carries your bridal style and places you down. He grabs a towel from his bag and also placed it down.

You guys layed there. You were still wondering why he was so stoic in the car, you ask him again.

"You okay? You seemed....quiet in the car."

He takes a deep breath. Should he tell you?

"Okay. Y/n, I really like you, like a lot, so uhm err... will you g-"

You cut him off with a peck on his lips.

"What were you saying?"

He paused, letting his blush take over.

He kisses you back and finally answers.

"You make me crazy, I love you y/n"

This time, you both kissed each other. You honestly weren't expecting this but you've always had a crush on jesse. And he had too.

9:28pm

Journey home.

Jesse had his free hand on yours, occasionally stroking in it.

You gazed off into your thoughts. You thought about the future. Would you be Jesse's girlfriend and the twins teacher?? What would happen with your relationship with the twins? What does the future hold for you and the Avrils??

"You alright?" Jesse noticed you spaced out.

"Uh yeah"

"You sure? I can hear you thinking"

You look at him. He looks at you before turning his head back to the road.

You did like yours and Jesse's relationship, well how it was at the moment.

"Uhm so.." jesse turns to look at you "whens our next date?" You say with your adorable smile.

"As soon as you want it!" He grins back at your. Both of your cheeks were pink.

He picks up your hand and kisses it softly, while keeping his eyes on the road of course.

9:29pm.

Jesse gave you a peck on your cheek as he turned around and left to head home.

This was the most fabulous day ever.

he is a character with undetermined motives rn because he collaborated with the traveler to achieve a capsule that contained the knowledge about the gods. but at the end of the quest, alhaitham fooled the traveler into thinking that they all lost the capsule while he slipped it into his pocket right under our nose. iirc, afterwards, he said smth to himself about the capsule and the higher-ups, most likely referring to the people from the akademiya (who are vv corrupt btw) — but the thing is alhaitham isn't your average obedient underling, so where his loyalties themselves lie rn is a question shrouded in mystery. with such a powerful capsulecin his hands, will he betray the akademiya or will he not? HMM, MY EYES ARE ON HIM. (also, the way you brought up itto's muscles, helpppp?? 😭 fr tho, hoyoverse what did you do to our oni's arms <//3)
