Yesterday I visited the #NewYorkStateCapitol Building for a rally and press conference in #TheWarRoom and to deliver a petition to the governor. I had the honor of speaking alongside many activists as a leader in environmental responsibility with my sustainable style business @themisandthread and a co-owner of a #FingerLakes centric, tourism reliant gift shop and gallery (@hectorhandmade co-owned by my bestie @jennie_scarbrough) #SenecaLakeGuardian arranged for this bus trip which left early and returned with celebratory Finger Lakes wines. We started our day EARLY (saw the sunrise early!) to head to the #NewYorkStateCapitol for a press conference in the #WarRoom with fellow #FLX supporters, elected officials, #SenecaLakeGuardian and the press. We love #SenecaLake and the amazing self built #WineAndTourism industry our #FLXfamily has nurtured and relies on. It is a $3BILLION industry that 60,000JOBS depend on. It is an industry built on community and collaboration by industrious, hard working visionaries.
