RRR at Oscars 2023: Why India's Naatu Naatu song wowed the jury
A track from Telugu blockbuster RRR, short for Rise Thunder Revolt, Naatu was the main Indian film melody to be selected for an Oscar.
Its artists likewise performed at the Foundation Grants, which are being broadcasted in India on Monday morning.
The tune turned into a worldwide sensation - moving perpetual Instagram reels and dance patterns via web-based entertainment - after the film's delivery in US last year, where its fast rhythm and synchronized movement were a moment hit with the crowds.
Created by MM Keeravani with verses wrote by Chandrabose, Naatu previously left a mark on the world once in January when it won the Brilliant Globe for best unique tune, overcoming competitors like Rihanna, Taylor Quick and Woman Crazy. That very month, the melody additionally won the Pundits Decision grant for the best tune.
"It's not a result of the music or the dance - the whole story of RRR can be summed up inside these 10 minutes of Naatu," the movie's chief, SS Rajamouli, told Vanity Fair.
A verifiable dream, highlighting hotshots Slam Charan and Jr NTR in lead jobs, RRR recounts the imaginary story of two progressives who battle contrary to English rule in India.
Rajamouli says he imagined Naatu as a "battle scene" in which two political dissidents push an English official to the brink of collapse - through dance.
"The melody is a story inside the bigger story of the film," the producer said.
Back in 2020, when RRR was still under creation, all Rajamouli told Keeravani was that he wanted a tune that would feature the moving ability of his legends.
Keeravani then, at that point, went to his number one lyricist Chandrabose and said: "Compose anything you like. In any case, this story happens during the 1920s, so use words proper to the time."
With no song or tune to work with, Chandrabose previously concocted the snare line of "Naatu" and that signifies "Dance, Dance" in Telugu.
He let BBC Telugu know that he composed an uptempo tune with a quick beat, which he realized Keeravani leaned toward. The beat is generally utilized in society tunes of the two Telugu-talking provinces of India - Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Attracting motivation from his experience growing up Telangana, Chandrabose incorporated a few folksy references - like eating bean stew with jowar roti (red sorghum bread) - in the tune.
Most of the melody was finished in two days, Chandrabose said. Yet, it required 19 months for the leftover piece to meet up.
Rajamouli and Keeravani credit a lot of Naatu's prosperity to the melody's choreographer, Prem Rakshit, who made around 95 dance ventures for the track.
"Every one of them [the actors] have their own style," Rajamouli said in a prior interview. "So he needed to find something that fit the two of them."
Rakshit said he made 30 forms of the mark step in which NTR Jr and Smash Charan hit the dance floor with their arms around one another. The wonderful arrangement must be additionally made do after Charan asked the chief "in the event that they could follow through with something" with the ensemble.
The melody comes full circle in a long distance race dance-off as every one of the artists kick up a tempest, gradually imploding individually in depletion until just the legends stay standing.
Slam Charan and NTR Jr then go to take on one another and a dance rivalry between the two legends follows. Rajamouli said he attempted to set out the film's subjects of fellowship, contention and fortitude through the grouping.
Also, the rest is history.
Since the film's delivery last year, fans have been attempting to duplicate the unpredictable foot turns and infectious dance moves. At film screenings in Los Angeles, crowds were much of the time seen racing to the stage to move when the tune played.
Despite the fact that the track was shot before the Mariinskyi Castle, a beautiful ocean blue design in Ukraine, Rajamouli said his point was to reproduce the environment of an Indian town. In past meetings, the chief has admitted that individuals referred to him as "insane" for shooting in a country very nearly war.
The group shot the tune north of 15 days, working 12 hours every day with 150 artists and a team of 200 individuals.
Rakshit said that each time he approved a take, Rajamouli would request "one more" shot.
"He went outline by casing to ensure we were in a state of harmony," Charan said in a meeting.

Hello everyone!
I'm sorry for my absence but I had some turbulence recently. If you're asking it, I'm still alive. Quite discombobulated but still alive.
The drawing activities are on hold and Inktober could be over for me this year. I want to state that it's not because of Elettra that, actually, gives me ideas for comic strips, stories, books...
That's all for now. I'll update you when there's anything new.
Behave😊

Amazing News of the USA
Intro
The amazing news of the USA is not just about politics and current events. It is also about the fight against abortion and the church's tyranny. The SSPX is building the 30th "Traditional Catholic" school in the US, while the Ecclesia Dei Communities have built twice as many schools. It is also a powerful reminder of how sodomite relationships were dismissed as a civil rights issue or a moral depravity.

Breaking
The name Breaking News in the USA refers to a satirical Australian television sitcom that looked at the manipulation of television journalism. It ran for three seasons from 1994 to 1997. It has since been adapted to the American television network PBS. Developed by Working Dog Productions, it's a comedy that tackles issues of office politics and double standards without resorting to a laugh track.
Florida officials have been hosting Venezuelan migrants who fled their homeland, while the state's governor has claimed to have organized flights for migrants to reach Puerto Rico. Meanwhile, rising electricity prices are adding to inflationary pressure, with the Consumer Price Index showing the highest rates in 40 years. Elon Musk's friends privately counseled him against acquiring Twitter.
Global health initiative
The United States has a large global health presence, sponsoring research and large technical cooperation programmes in many countries. The President's Executive Order on AIDS Relief and Plan for AIDS Relief, launched in 2003, are just a few examples of how the US has been involved in global health. President Obama has taken the lead with the Global Health Initiative, aimed at improving health outcomes globally.
The United States is committed to improving the health of the world and saving millions of lives. President Obama believes that this initiative fits in with American values and history of compassion. Currently, 26,000 children die every day due to extreme poverty or preventable diseases. The Global Health and Prosperity Initiative will focus on improving health services and infrastructure and promoting clean water access. In particular, the initiative will prioritize the needs of women and children, especially those living in low-income countries.
The United States has a long history of supporting global health efforts through USAID. Its programs have saved lives and helped build nations and communities. USAID has been a pioneer in the fight against HIV/AIDS, providing leadership, expertise, and strategic direction to many countries. USAID is also involved in fighting other infectious diseases, including malaria, neglected tropical diseases, and pandemic influenza.
Development assistance for global health has significantly increased in recent years, and in 2007 the amount of such aid nearly quadrupled. This increased support for global health initiatives has helped bring these issues to the attention of policy makers and public officials worldwide.
Sodomite relationship
The word "Sodom" comes from the Ancient Greek word Sodoma and the Latin peccatum Sodomiticum. The story of Sodom is told in the Bible in Genesis. The story begins with the city being destroyed by God because it was sinful, and it is then followed by two angels being invited by Lot to go and seek refuge with him and his family. In turn, these angels become entangled in the city's affairs and are eventually put to death.
Abraham and Lot's hospitality is a sharp contrast to the Sodomite city's inhabitants. The men in Sodom surround Lot's house and demand to know who the messengers are. They are threatening to do even worse to Lot than they did to the Sodomite people. Lot protests and offers them a couple of his virgin daughters. However, the Sodomites threaten to do "worse" than what they did to their guests.
According to the Bible, the people of Sodom were utterly evil. God did not name a specific sin for this destruction, but the story is largely about the sinfulness of its inhabitants. Although no specific sin was listed, there are some links between homosexuality and the destruction of Sodom, such as the mob raping Lot's male guests. It may also be the case that the sinfulness of Sodom stemmed from a violation of the city's hospitality obligations.
COVID-19 vaccines
The CDC is expanding the number of people who can receive COVID-19 vaccines. The CDC is now allowing adults over age 18 to receive the new vaccine. In mid-May, the U.S. hit a milestone of one million COVID deaths. In response, the CDC is opening a second round of COVID-19 vaccine shots for adults. According to the CDC, approximately 33% of the population has already had a booster dose. Among the states that have the highest percentage of adults receiving a booster dose are Rhode Island, Maine, and Vermont.
The new vaccines are available free of charge to people with health insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, or the Children's Health Insurance Program. Individuals with private insurance may also be eligible. Additionally, those with no health insurance will also be able to receive the new COVID-19 vaccines. Because the vaccines are purchased by the federal government, anyone can obtain them for free.
Vaccination efforts have been making significant progress against the virus. The proportion of individuals who developed COVID-19 in hospitals has increased in recent years, but the number of people who acquired the disease outside of the hospital has decreased. In the meantime, the U.S. vaccination program has been administering a record number of COVID-19 vaccines each day.
The CDC's efforts have made it possible to detect variants that are responsible for less than one percent of the U.S. cases. In addition, the CDC's network of researchers has the capability to assess and respond quickly to mutations. This allows the federal government to make new COVID-19 vaccines available to as many people as possible.

ANDROID TV
Android TV is a smart TV operating system based on Android and developed by Google for television sets, digital media players, set-top boxes, and soundbars.
A successor to Google TV, it features a user interface designed around content discovery and voice search, content aggregation from various media apps and services, and integration with other recent Google technologies such as Assistant, Cast, and Knowledge Graph.
The platform was first unveiled in June 2014, and was first made available on the Nexus Player that November.
The platform has been adopted as smart TV middleware by companies such as Sony and Sharp, while Android TV products have also been adopted as set-top boxes by a number of IPTV television providers.
A special edition called Android TV Operator Tier is provided to service operators that implement Android TV on the device they provide to their subscribers to access media content.
In this edition, the operator can customize the home screen and services on the device.
The Android TV platform is an adaptation of the Android OS for set-top boxes and as integrated software on smart TV hardware.
Its home screen uses a vertically-scrolling, row-based interface, including a "content discovery" area populated by suggested content, followed by "Watch Now" rows that surface media content from installed apps.
Android TV supports voice input for commands and universal search across multiple services; selected devices also support Google Assistant.
All Android TV devices support Google Cast, allowing media to be played on them from supported apps[13] on other devices in an identical manner to Chromecast.
Android TV supports software from the Play Store, including media apps and games (although not all Google Play apps are compatible with Android TV).
Some Android TV devices, such as the Nvidia Shield and Razer Forge TV, are also marketed as microconsoles and bundled with a Bluetooth wireless gamepad.

Read Mahatma Gandhi’s Biography in English includes Information, History, Life Story, Education, Death, Family, Quotes.
Life Story of Mahatma Gandhi
Mahatma Gandhi was a prominent political and spiritual leader in India during the early 20th century. His life story is a testament to the power of nonviolence and civil disobedience in the pursuit of social justice and political freedom.
Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was born on October 2, 1869, in Porbandar, a coastal town in present-day Gujarat, India. His family belonged to the Vaishya, or merchant caste, and his father was a prominent local official.
Gandhi received his early education in Porbandar and later in Rajkot, where he excelled academically but struggled with discipline. In 1888, he traveled to England to study law at University College London, where he was exposed to Western culture and ideas.
After completing his studies in England, Gandhi returned to India and began practicing law in Bombay (now Mumbai). However, he was soon disillusioned with the legal profession and the British colonial system that he believed was unjustly oppressive to the Indian people.
In 1915, Gandhi was recruited by the Indian National Congress, a political party that advocated for Indian independence from British rule. Gandhi quickly became a prominent leader within the Congress and began promoting nonviolent resistance as a means of achieving political and social change.
Over the next few years, Gandhi led a number of successful nonviolent protests and campaigns, including the famous Salt March of 1930, in which he and thousands of followers walked over 240 miles to protest British salt taxes.
Gandhi was a staunch advocate for Indian independence and worked tirelessly to achieve it. His efforts were ultimately successful, and India gained independence from British rule in 1947. However, Gandhi's work was not without its challenges, and he faced significant opposition from both the British authorities and some members of the Indian community.
Throughout his life, Gandhi also emphasized the importance of spiritual and moral values, including truth, nonviolence, and compassion. He coined the term "Satyagraha" to describe his philosophy of nonviolent resistance and inspired countless people around the world to adopt similar approaches to social and political change.
Gandhi was assassinated by a Hindu nationalist on January 30, 1948, but his legacy lives on as a symbol of the power of peaceful resistance and the fight for social justice and human rights.
