@nbrights YES YES!!!!!!!!!! the way i see it is like. isabel could manipulate her spectral energy to form something impressively detailed- like this wing for example:

^ this one. she could form that through thinking about it really hard and lots of practice. it’s training and muscle memory and creating from nothing, so theres no real step-by-step or end goal or prerequisites to the physical object. because there is no physical object. and there’s almost no theory- but that’s only because isabel herself resists the theory by nature of resisting her grandpa, who is the one teaching the theory.

shes been growing up in the dojo her whole life, and started forming energy constructs around age 6. that sure is interesting! i bet that process was a lot more intuitive than learning it in your 20s! so now im wondering if- because shes been doing it for so long- spectral fist is kind of second nature to isabel. not as in shes naturally good at it- but the whole ‘doing something so often for so long that it becomes routine and you lose the thought behind it’. We see how hard she trains, and where she started, so it’s not like she’s never had to try. Shes had to try- but she’s never had to try in this way. Isabel can form the construct, but getting it to hit the target is where the challenge comes in.

So back to my point: Isabel could manipulate her spectral energy to form a construct with impressive concept and detail, but if you whacked a glob of clay down and asked her to sculpt that wing, she’d be lost. She’d struggle even if she had a picture- maybe even more. Isabels bad with limitations and precision and accuracy and processes and singular solutions!!!!!!!!!!!!!

most frosting tastes like plastic sugar . if u want frosting on something i’m always going to say the only good frosting is homemade or the good cream cheese kind. i know most people can’t afford/don’t have the time to do that but it’s worse to have cheap icing than no icing !! we as a society need to appreciate frosting-less baked goods . put some fruit in that shit!! sorry for the long ask i’m just Passionate About Baking

true i like homemade frosting it tastes super good! homemade baked goods in general are better theyre not too sweet we gotta start realizing not sweet doesnt equal not good... and i agree on the fruit thing there are plenty of good toppings that we dont use as much as frosting like fruit or sprinkles -w- and no worries friend im glad to get the opinion of an expert lol :3!

what version are you on? i rlly like 1.13.2 bc of all the aquatic stuff but i cant play with my shaders bc of compatibility issues with optifine and forge x__x

i’m on 1.13.2 and have optifine installed!! i just used the normal installer and didn’t bother with forge.

although i rlly wanna play on the snapshots... before my world corrupted for the first time, i put my server on a snapshot and built such an awesome build and was halfway through it when everything corrupted and now i can’t rebuild it until 1.14 is out hhhhh

@nbrights LITERALLYYYYY like there is SO MUCH you could take out from the past 3 chapters, even stretching back to 4, to make the story move so much faster.

the vampires add nothing, alex and the school store adds nothing, ritz penny stephen paige bigfoot mothman the dog the bitcoin lady and the other 500 new characters introduced add NOTHING to the story thats been set up!! this isnt h*mestuck you cant introduce an entirely new cast halfway through the story, each with their own personal subplot, and expect people to stay invested
