I refuse to watch this new season since Sharpe is gone but I had to read this article. And it’s confirming that I made the right choice to not watch. Why try to squeeze in another romance? They pushed Max and Sharpe as endgame far too much and long for it to flop. This season should have finally been about personal growth and being a better father to his daughter.

It just pisses me off even more they had his daughter call Sharpe mom for it to end like this.

so I decided to start rewatching new amsterdam like a week or week and a half ago and I'm almost done with S3 now lol I actually got behind during S3 so I missed most of S3 and all of s4-5 and I really love this show even though I hear S5 isn't great but I'm watching anyway lol I shipped max/helen so hard I wish they were endgame we waited 3 seasons to get them together then we only get them for a season as a couple I will miss her so much when I get to S5 that's probably why s5 isn't great tbh! i also ship lauren/leyla and idk what happens there lol but I love the show and it wasn't lack of love that made me stop it was getting too behind lol it's such a great medical drama!!

I haven’t made many posts about New Amsterdam lately.

The show just lost its charm for me but I still watch it.

And they really managed to tick me off by the character assassination that is Iggy. Iggy used to be likable. But now!?! Did he really just gaslight his husband and told him it’s his fault he’s a horrible husband and partner!?

Like WTF.

And don’t get me started on him ruining a job for a co-worker because he was enjoying the attention he got. He could have filed a lawsuit against Iggy and the hospital
