I apologize for my inactivity, my menses started and sometime before that, PMS is kicked my ass.
I did indeed see the trailer for Nebula & Quasar's PC port, the graphics, voices, it was perfect! PLEASE do watch it if you haven't already.
Alright, let's get into these screencaps! by the way, according to the description of the video NAQtube gave, not all cutscenes shown in the trailer were actually in the final PC game. Apparently, N&Q and Lightyear Games did face some criticism due to this decision.
Stonecold's office definitely got a revamp, it no longer looks unfinished and looks less unsettling. It appears to have similar dialogue to the "Early Opening Cutscene", with probably some differences.
Plot really takes a turn when we're shown a wanted poster of our two favorite alien friends with Quasar's dialogue of "They think we're the bad guys!" and another shot of them in a jail cell. Did they get involved something bad (Maybe that wasn't their fault) years before the events of the game? or did the populace scapegoat the two after the sun disappeared? fear is a powerful motivator. Wonder what the rest of the wanted poster says?
Nova being the most supportive big sister to them, saying they are "the greatest gift that the world has ever seen" really sent me, so sweet.
More of Celeste being Celeste.
There appears to be new characters, like the mother and the child and Sadie Saturn, the newscaster.
Most of these shots be soo good, I might redraw them.
Zeno's goal appears to be clear: he wants to steal the sun back to his kind (which I am suspecting are Xenomorph-like aliens, hence the name Zeno.)
Good video tbh, it's awesome.
Uploads may slow down a bit since my spring semester of college is starting, but I will try to upload stuff to tumblr whenever I can.

Well, I'm back.
After a couple weeks of college classes, I'm finally on spring break! Hopefully you'll see more stuff soon. Video dropped yesterday, but I went to bed early so I missed the premiere. So the video is composed of alternate/unused voice lines for the first Nebula & Quasar game. (Just for the PC version.)

IMPORTANT UPDATE: plasmapunk2001 has confirmed the names of the clone versions of Nebula and Quasar. It’s Venex and Nernex!
So we finally have names for two new characters. The wasp/bee character is named "Queen Buzzbeamer" and a new character known as "The Guardian" (probably a PC only character too). Most likely for Greenworld.
Pokie's voice is spot on. Perfectly encapsulates a bratty spoiled child that you love to hate. Also, the line of "Say hi to your mother for me in hell, goblin boy!" is interesting (although was unused for mild profanity). This line either was said for shits and giggles by the VA, or maybe it's meant to imply on what happened to the parents (or mother in this case) of Nova, Nebula and Quasar. Did their mother die, and if so, how and why does Pokie know about it?
Didn't expect Mayor Grimm to have that kind of voice. I guess it makes him even more creepier than before.
Apparently Celeste has a lisp? Didn't expect that.
I love Nova's voice. Enough said.
Quasar's voice my beloved.
Also we end up with two new villain characters, although I cannot catch their names. I know that the evil Nebula clone actually has a name, but it's hard to make out. (Phoenix, Venus or Venix? I feel like my hearing is starting to go..)
The Quasar clone (no name for him yet.) and Quasar's interaction feels like it's straight outta Sonic Adventure 2. I wouldn't be suprised if they called the clone "Shadow" XD. I think if they called him "Shadow", they would get into legal trouble with Sega.
Quasar realizing he's actually really annoying after meeting with his clone. THE ANGST POTENTIAL WITH THIS. Sorry, the team is literally feeding into one of my Quasar hcs, so stay tuned to my big list of HCs coming soon~
I feel this video fleshed out Quasar's, Nebula's and Nova's personalities quite a bit too. I really like that.
My theory on why the lines of the evil clones and our heroes were on the disc of the first NAQ game on PC was probably for promotional sneak peaks.
I think that most of the lines that Nebula and Quasar trying to be scary was probably just the VAs having fun and blowing off steam.

Another day, another post.
I was at work (on campus) when I got the update that NAQtube uploaded again. It's another blooper video and we get quite a bit of content here. This blooper video is a little more... unhinged than the first. The video feels like something that a younger kid would make with Windows Movie Maker and their favorite video game, including cursing and some bad humor lol
Firstly, we get views of Comet City, but looking more impoverished, dirty and allegedly gang-ridden. Reminds me of the NYC slums and projects. Nova appears to be playable here. It's unknown if she's unlocked if someone finished the entire game, or she's meant to be playable in Comet City, before Escape Junction.
I love how the icons of the characters will change if they get damaged. More unknown bosses, two for Comet City, and one for Planet Sahara. The lil idle dance Nebula does is so adorable. NPCs (including Celeste) appear to be interactable in some worlds. Side quests for each world or just dialogue to progress the story?
The planet for the Junkyard Boss is known as "Planet Junkyard". Original amirite
I need eyebleach after seeing that fetish art.. but I've seen worse.
They interpret the white room rumor as it being an actual white room with nothing in it. There was apparently creepypastas based on this rumor too.
Nebula and Quasar are ballin, let's go
We finally see what is on that wanted poster. "Intergalactic Protection Force"? and "Neotopia", wonder if that is where Nebula and Quasar are from.
The one screenshot showing both icons of N&Q, possible two player mode with battery counter on top. I noticed some weird writing saying "Why am" and it becomes incomprehensible. It could be saying "Why am I here", but it's not confirmed.
Quasar finally threw hands with Pokie, surprised he hasn't earlier.
The whole plot of the first and second blooper vid be kinda fitting to my hcs for Quasar being kind of "pushed aside" in favor of his sisters. Hell, I could develop a villain arc with Quasar in a different AU.
And no, you're not racist at all, Nebula.

More screen caps, yay
Some more stuff from the blooper/“SMG4 style” video. One of them shows Nebula’s idle animation where she yawns and stretches. Wonder why we haven’t seen any idle animations for Quasar yet. Maybe it’s possibly the same or similar idle animation? We might never know. Also Nebula after fighting with Pinhead, appears in a world we haven’t seen yet. Also another pic of Zeno too.
Also, the pic of Nebula in a white room also appears in the solo mission blooper vid. Is this the supposed "white room"? Is NAQtube hiding something?
I also have some screencaps from the “It’s On” commercial. (Btw The Prodigy music goes hard) I wonder who Nebula is chasing at the end of the commercial? Planet Sahara appears with the duo getting chased by someone. (Probably Pokie tbh) The scene of the duo near the end goes really hard tho.
Got some screengrabs of the IGN "Know the difference." commercial with Nebula in Greenworld and some gameplay of an unknown world with Quasar. The one where they both face off against Mayor Grimm goes pretty hard.
Only two screengrabs from the 2001 Sweepstakes commerical which include Nebula and something related to the world (maybe it's a boss? a passageway? a temple?) and Quasar getting zapped in another unknown world.

Okay, here’s the part 2 I promised. These are just 2D drawings most likely made by the artists in Lightyear games.
We’re actually getting our first look at the sequel of NAQ, NAQ: Double Trouble mentioned by either NAQtube or Plasmapunk. Another female robot character.
we also get some Celeste x Quasar fanart from a person known as KoniARTZ on Deviantart. (They also are responsible for the audio edit of Quasar and Celeste.) Wonder if they have an actual account on DA as part of the ARG.
These will be very good references for art.

Hey, sorry for inactivity. College stuff, you know how it is. Have to post all photos in separate posts. (damn this image limit. -_-)
So more content dropped for Nebula & Quasar. First, a soundtrack for the first level of the game, Comet City. Then, seven days later, they release a "tribute" video for Quasar, Celeste and other girl characters (other than Nebula). These tribute vids are quite a artifact of an ancient time in the early 2000s. These videos were everywhere.
So most of this video contains stuff from NAQ shows (yes, there was a webseries!) called "NAQ Toons" and "Cosmic Heroes". Cosmic Heroes was the more polished and final show associated with the canon story, I think that NAQ Toons was the more.... unrestricted and more unsettling due to Thomas Snyder's influence. There's also some cutscenes from the game, like the one we see in the PC trailer.
We get from this video, that Quasar's quite the ladies man. Unfortunately, these "dates" he's on don't really end well. Poor Quasar, he'll never see Celeste the same way again. So the things on Celeste's head are apparently are eyes, but she has them closed all the time? seems weird. (I suspecting the date night scene is from this infamous "date episode" that's disliked by the community or mostly all these scenes with the girls from this episode? we don't really know yet.) In my HC, Quasar has dated Celeste before, but they broke up on good terms since they didn't really see each other much as lovers.
That "bunny alien girl" reminds me of Barnaby Brooks Jr. Must be the colour. Wonder what Celeste and Luna are arguing about.
So looks like the show had a "beach episode", 'cause, I mean, what show doesn't have one?
I guess that's all the comments I have rn, but stay tuned for part 2.
