Different from the other two pregnancy announcements, you tried to organize something, you didn’t go with Namora for help, this time you decided to go for Attuma.

Being the prankster he is, Attuma told you to just blurted out that you were pregnant, but let’s be honest, you wanted to put a bit more into it. And Namor being Namor, the probability of him already know it made you a bit frustrated. You made sure to hide as best as you could your symptoms.

But it was so difficult! Namor knew you better than you knew yourself. You hated him with passion.

But today was the day, you were prepared, you would grabbed his hand and dragged him to your special place, the very same place he asked you to marry him, the corals.

As you made your way to him, you were feeling giddy and excited, he would be so happy, he loved his children so much that the announcement of another one, ugh, beautiful.

But everything went to hell when you saw him speaking with Attuma and Namora, he turned around and smiled at you, you felt yourself blush and a huge smile appeared on your face.

“K’uk’ulkan!” You exclaimed, quickly swimming to his side. “I am pregnant!”

Namor and Namora just stared at you while Attuma gave you thumbs up.

He didn’t want to worry you but they were happening again.

The first one was a few weeks ago, he abruptly woke up in the middle of the night, his eyes were wide, his body was cold and completely drench in sweat.

You were gone, had disappeared again on his hands but not only that, his twins as well. His hand quickly searched for you in the darkness, and when he felt your heat against the digits of his fingers, he could only sighed in relief, he went to hug you when that voice inside of his head almost made him scream.

‘She is here, but are your children?’

His body moved on his own, forcing him to break from the slumber as his legs carried him towards the other room. His eyes couldn’t adjust quickly on the darkness from the room and that didn’t help his fear settled down. His steps were careful and his breath was shallow, his body hit one of the cribs and he slowly placed the palm of his hand on his child’s torso.

Namor almost cried in relief as he felt the slow and peaceful breaths of his child, he made his way to the other crib, repeating the process. And now that his body and mind were at peace, he returned to you. He laid besides you, carefully tracing your sleepy features before moving you to lay on his chest. Your arm quickly hugged him and he could only sighed in relief. His heart finally beating normal.

Even if he tried to be as secretive as he wanted, you knew him better than he knew himself. The first time it happened you actually woke up but decided to stay quiet, your eyes followed him until he went out and when he came back, you closed them.

At first, the nightmares where apart, one every four days, but then they became more frequent and more stressful. You see it on the way his shoulders tensed the moment you laid your eyes on him, you see it when he spend more time away from you and the twins, the way his eyes sunken and the darkness covered his under eyes.

You didn’t want to confront him as you knew he was too proudful to accept your help, but when another one of his nightmares force him away, you couldn’t help yourself but to act.

Namor woke up screaming, sitting up quickly as he tried to force himself to calm down but he couldn’t, his hands were shaking, his shoulders tensed, his body felt cold and his lungs were on fire.

You woke up quickly, trying to touch him but he just jerked away from you, hitting the ground as he tried to breathe. You knew what was happening and the only thing that could only calm him down was to feel your children. So you ran to their room, they were sleeping profoundly and you hoped to not waked them up as you carried them to Namor.

As you returned to your shared room with your babies on your arms, you saw him stuck against the wall, his hands covering his face, even in the darkness you could see he was shaking. You carefully walked towards him, kneeling in front and forcing his hands away from his hands. You pressed your body to his, putting your face on his neck. “Táan k waye'.” We are here. You whispered against his neck.

Namor’s hands slowly wrapped around the three of you, hugging you tightly against him.

“Táan k waye'.” You repeatad, kissing his neck softly.
