You loved how your body was changing with the pregnancy, you loved the way you could see your body transform into something so beautiful and perfect that you were just happy. But sadly there was a huge problem. The problem with being pregnant was the morning sickness. And let me tell you, they hit you so hard that you were questioning everything.
You were sleeping soundly in your husband’s arms, when you felt it coming, no matter how many teas the elder women gave you or how many fruit Namora made you eat, they always came. Your eyes quickly opened when the feeling was at your throat. You force your way away from Namor’s arms and ran towards the little bathroom. You entered and knelt in front of the toilet and just threw up.
You didn’t even noticed how Namor walked calmly towards you, you didn’t even noticed him kneel at your side. His hand rubbing softly at your back, the other one grabbing your hair away from your face. “Cha' u láaj jóok'ol.” Let it all out. He whispered, kissing your shoulder softly. “Tuláakal ma'alob.” Everything is alright.
He sat next to you, helping with your hair and rubbing your back until you were done, he had been noticing how the pregnancy was affecting you, making you sick, but he was always next to you. He gently carried you and sat you on a chair, grabbing a bowl with water and a piece of clothe, he helped you cleaned up, he would do anything you needed just to make you feel a bit more comfortable.

You clenched the basket you were carrying, your knuckles white and your breath locked in your lungs as you made your way towards your king’s cavern. You were nervous and afraid, you barely made it through the soft current that guide you upwards, if it was for another reason you would be thrilled to see him. But when the message came from Attuma, his second in command, that changed everything.
You let out your breath when you almost got out of the water, one of your hands quickly went to dig out your mask from the basket you were carrying, quickly putting it on and adjusting it correctly before finally stepping out of the water.
This wasn’t the first time you were invited to his cavern, you were designated to bring him some food if he spent the majority of his time here. Your eyes quickly adjusted to the cold air that surrounded you. Quickly blinking away some tears that formed when your eyes became a little too dry. Your hands hugged the basket closer to your body as you slowly walked to the entrance. Even if you hadn’t yet to enter, you could still distinguish his figure, his focus away from you.
You stretched your shoulders, stopping at the entrance, it had been a few days since Attuma had delivered the message, you knew you needed to see him as quickly as possible but you managed to postponed it, until the older women forced you to finally confront the king.
Your hand knocked against the stone wall, the softest sound that made the king stopped his actions to turned and put his attention on your figure. You swallowed when his intense dark eyes greeted you.
“Ta p'ataj a k'iin.” You took your time. He stood up, silently putting his tools on the ground before making his way to you. “Ts'o'ok in pensado u ma' ten taal.” I have thought you were not coming.
Your eyes stayed glued to your basket, too afraid to even look at him. “In akaljantik.” I’m sorry. You gulped. “In akaljantik, K'uk'ulkan, ma' táan u yúuchul.” I’m sorry, K’uk’ulkan, it won’t happened again.
He hummed, his hands went to your jaw, gently caressing it before softly guiding your gaze to look at him, you were hoping to find anger on his eyes, but you almost gasp at how gentle they were. “A llamé waye' tumen ba'al, chan.” I called you here for something, little one. “Ba'al Páaybe'en.” Something important.
Namor’s hands let your face for a moment, his form fully turn away from you, leaving you a bit confuse. He walked towards one of the several baskets, pulling out a small yellow flower. Your eyes widened in fear, fully knowing where it come from. He turned to you, the flower firmly on his fist, his dark eyes were inspecting it and the silence made you tremble with fear.
“Namora ka tu kaxtaj ti' a ba'alo'ob,” Namora found it on your things. He didn’t look at you, his fingers playing with the several petals that covered it. “Le ba'ala' ma' pertenece u k noj, u tsool, chan.” This does not belong in our city, explain, little one.
A sick feeling filled your stomach as you clutched the basket closer to your body, the words couldn’t even form on your tongue, even though million of excuses were forming on your head. What could you say? That you made your way to the surface? That you were so selfish that you broke the rules for your own amusement? That you broke his rules and put at risk not only your person but every single one of the others?
Your form began to tremble, you didn’t know if it was from the air that cooled your form or simply the fear of not knowing what your punishment would be.
Namor noticed the shakiness of your form, he frown, not really wanting to put you on this situation, he silently took away the basket of your hands, placing instead the flower you desperately wanted to hide from everyone else. Your fingers didn’t grasped it tightly as he did so his fingers closed around your hands. He smiled at you softly, trying to ease you back to comfort. “Ma' taak ka'ach in a asustaras, mix mix.” I didn’t want to scare you, far from it. One hand left yours and placed it on your cheek, his thumb caressing your skin.
“K'uk'ulkan.” You closed your eyes, trying so hard to not break down in front of him. “Teene'…” I…
He shushed you gently. “In wojel.” I know. He whispered, his eyes looking at the flower. “A wojel wáaj bix u k'aaba' le nikte'o'?” Do you know what this flower is called?
“Ka tin kaxtaj way.” I found it on the surface. You shook your head. “Tin tukultaje’ jats’uts.” I thought it was pretty.
Namor hummed, you almost closed your eyes at the sound. “U k'aaba' cempasúchil.” It’s called cempasúchil. He whispered. “Le nikte'o' le pixan.” The flower of the dead. You gasped in horror, trying to drop the flower but his hand didn’t let you. He quietly laughed at your action. “Mix taan u kíinsikech.” It will not kill you.
You stared at the flower -and him- weirdly, trying to understand how this tiny flower had that huge significance. He grabbed your chin and guide you to look at him once again. “I could show you, but the place I could take you do not speak our language, have you practiced your English?”
“Yes.” You bit your lip. “I am not good still.”
He shook his head smiling. “It does not matter.”
Tumblr media
Namor guide you to the surface, carefully explaining you how you needed to blend yourselves from the surface-dwellers, you nodded along his words, but when the both of you finally made your way to the beach, he noticed how your skin turned blue, he frowned, not because of the color, but because he knew that if they saw it, you would be taken away from him and that made something stir inside of his body.
His eyes found a piece of clothe that perhaps belonged to someone else but he didn’t care. Namor grabbed it and helped you put it on, it didn’t do much but he was more at ease. He grabbed your hand and tugged you softly, making your way to the festivities, and as best as he could, Namor explained everything.
Like a child full in wonder, your eyes tried to take as much as you could, every single light, every single smell, everything was so captivating to you that you couldn’t care less if some surface-dwellers were throwing glances at the bluish-tone your skin was taking.
Then, some form of lights began exploding on the skies, making you gasp in surprise, your body sticking closer to your king, who gladly welcomed your touch without any complain. Your eyes never leaving the skies, how the colors were changing with each explosion, it made you giddy, it made you feel like you were a child once again.
Namor felt the soft tapping on his arm, his eyes quickly turning to it, a small child offered him a smile, a few teeth missing on the front, tiny hands trying to place a small object on his hands, he gratefully accepted it with a nod. The child left and Namor inspected it carefully before gently placing it on your hands.
You watched it with wonder. The object providing you with a gentle warm that made you smile, you tried to touch it but it burned you, making you quietly hiss but not throwing it away.
Namor was about to take it away from your hands as it hurt you, but when you turned to look at him something inside him made him stop. The object created a soft glow that caressed the bluish of your skin. You looked beautiful, like a painting he spent hours creating on the loneliness of his cavern, and when your eyes softly closed, he knew you were smiling under the layer of cloth he helped you put on to disguised yourself from the others. He couldn’t look away and even if he could, in that moment, he chose not to.

Don’t think about Namor with a baby/toddler who gets scared when he has to go away to attend court or do other kingly duties, so they cry up a storm that can be heard across the halls, inconsolable. Don’t think about Namor trying to comfort his baby by telling them he’ll be back soon, only for their crying to start up again when he tries to leave and hand them off to another Talokanil. Don’t think about Namor deciding to take his baby with him and sitting them on his lap/knee, holding them with one arm while he’s on his throne, using his other hand to catch the toy his baby is playing with before it hits the ground after they accidentally drop it. (It’s his heir; he doesn’t want them to cry again and it’s good for them to listen in on court meetings to learn since they’ll have to do it one day) Don’t think about his child saying “daddy” in the Meso-American Mayan language as their first word, bringing everything to a halt as Namor is so happy they’ve said their first word he demands there be a celebration, his child’s smile and giggle ringing throughout the throne room and mixing with his own proud smile and laughter. Or do, and turn this into a cute little story. 🙂 Love your work! 💜

You sat back comfortably against the wall, your baby girl silently playing with the many collars that your husband had gifted you within the months. At first, you worried every day about how your twins could adapt between two worlds, but the curious nature (something they definitely got from Namor) appease that fear. Your twins were wonderful, they often make you smile with their little actions.
As worried as you were for the future of your family, Namor manage to impress you beyond your imagination with his actions. He often spend hours every day to demonstrate his love for his family, trying so hard to make you smile. He assured you that he loved you for you, and the gift of parenthood only made his love increase. As long as he had you, he was happy.  And you weren’t alone, the talokanils proved to you that they were as happy as Namor was with the arrival of your kids.
“Na'.” Mommy.  Your baby girl tugged at your hand, making you smile at her. Her tiny hand tried to give you one of the collars. “For me, pretty girl?” You asked, grabbing the collar and putting it on. “Thank you, in chan pixan.” My little soul. “It is a wonderful gift. I love it with all my heart.” You kissed her forehead. “Let us go and see what your father and your brother are up to, yes?” You hold out your hands and your baby girl quickly hugged you.
You didn’t even have to walk further as your eyes watched with amusement how your tiny little toddler was following his dad without him noticing. Namor was collecting a few of his tools with huge concentration and your son was following every one of his actions, picking up imaginary things whenever his dad picked up something.  You bit your lip hard, trying not to laugh at the view.
But you weren’t as sneaky as you thought, Namor turned to your direction, a huge smile formed on his face as he saw you standing there with his precious little daughter. “Ba'axten jach ki'imak a wool, in yakunaj?” Why are you so happy, my love? His hands gently putting his tools on the floor.
“Ah, ah, ah.” You shook your head, the smile still on your face. Your daughter trying to stick her hand on your mouth. “English, we are trying to make our children bilingual, remember? Your idea.”
Namor huffed, walking towards you, his hands quickly grabbing your waist, pulling you closer to his body, giving a quick kiss to his daughter’s cheek. She frowned at the action. “Are you doing well, in yakunaj? You woke up quite late this morning.”
“Well, I’m doing pretty good, this little baby manage to distract me from my duties all morning.” You smiled when your daughter laid her head on your shoulder, watching intently at Namor. “I noticed you are quite busy this morning as well.”
He nodded. “Yes, Attuma and Krang manage to finish one of the barriers as I ask, I have to go and look for any more improvements that can be done, perhaps today I come back later than usual and for once, my beautiful wife, do not stay late.”
You pouted. “You know I probably will ignore everything you say and still wait for your arrival.” Namor sighed, nodding along your words. “So you are going out?”
“Yes?” He looked at you weirdly. “I just told you that.”
“And you are recollecting the stuff you might need, yes?”
“…What is this interrogatory, in yakunaj?” Namor asked.
You smiled, your eyes looking behind him. “I was just wondering what were you going to do with the tiny shadow that decided to follow you this day.”
“Tiny shadow?” Namor turned around, he couldn’t help but smile as he watch his son try to pick every single one of his tools from the floor.
“Good luck today.” You whispered on his ear. “You will need it, Argos has been saving all his energy so, you might want to tired him out for a bit.”
“What?” Namor quickly turned to you. “I cannot bring him out to the barriers, it might me dangerous.”
You sighed, nodding. “Well, you could always leave him here with me, I’m planning to help the older women recollecting fruit, it might be hard with him crying but after a few hours, he will get tired.”
Namor frowned. “He cries when I leave him?”
You bit your lip. “Well, yes, he misses his yuum so much.” Daddy. You walked towards your son, gently kneeling in front of him. “Are you ready to spend a day with na’?” Mommy. Your son frowned, looking at Namor with his big dark eyes, his lower lip beginning to tremble.
“No!” Namor cleared his throat. “No, he can join me for today.”
You triumphantly smiled, standing up once again and walking to your husband. “As I said before, good luck, in yakunal.”
Namor sighed, he got closer to you, trying to kiss you but was stopped by his daughter, her tiny hand trying to push his face away from yours. “Are you not letting me kiss my wife?” She pushed him again. “Fine, you win this time, but I will kiss her eventually.”
You laughed.
Tumblr media
Namor stared at the two warriors in front of him as he tried to keep the toddler on his arms occupied, he tried everything, from giving him his jewelry to letting him play with a part of his spear, he would be a dead man if he left him play with his knife.
As he was bouncing him on his leg, Attuma was telling him what other improvements they could make so they can still be hidden from the others. Namor would have prefer to see it with his own eyes but the idea to bring his child to the dangerous parts of the barriers stir something inside him. The protectiveness part of him even growl at the idea.
He nodded at the others words, completely absorbed at them, something his child didn’t like. He wanted the attention of his father. His tiny hand tugged at the necklace he was wearing, but the only thing he manage to get was the hand of his father carefully prying away from it. Argos frowned annoyed.
“Tuláakal yaan de acuerdo con a t'aano'ob, K’uk’ulkan.” Everything is going accord to your words, K’uk’ulkan. Attuma said as his eyes turned towards the child on his king's lap. The child was getting frustrated with the lack of attention he was getting.
Namor nodded in satisfaction. "Jaaj, láayli' yaan ya'ab meyaj tumen meentk, ba'ale' confío tu ka'atúul." Yes, there is still a lot of work to do, but I trust both of you with it. Namor gave his hand to his child when he tried to grab it on his own. "Yaan wáaj alguna noticia ti' Wakanda?" Are there any news of Wakanda?
Krang looked at his king, shaking his head. “Ma', táan u cumpliendo u t'aan.” No, they are keeping their word.
“Ma'alob, ma'alob.” Good, good. “K’a’abeta…” We should…
“Yuum!” His child scream in frustration when he was ignored once again. Namor looked at him with surprise, Attuma and Krang as well.
“U yáax t'aan.” His first word. Krang whispered.
Attuma gleefuly smiled. “Ah! Techo' bix u esperaba! Jump'éel príncipe Jach ma'alob ba'ax le!” Ah! Just as expected! Such a good prince he is!”
Namor smiled, standing up and hugging his child with force. “Lela' laaj jump'éel celebración!” This deserves a celebration! “Alerta le nojoch máako', K'a'abet k celebrar táaj Chich.” Alert the elders, we must celebrate as fast as possible.
Tumblr media
“In reina?” Namora stood next to you as her eyes watched the others carried trails with huge amount of fruits. “Ba'ax le le celebración?” What is the celebration?
You smiled, noticing how your daughter raised her arms towards Namora, she looked at you, a silent question on her gaze. You nodded, handing her your toddler, who quickly began playing with the feathers of her outfit. “Ah, In wa'alike' u in waal finalmente tu ya'alaj yuum tin wíichan. U yáax t'aan.” I believe, my son has called said dad to my husband, his first word. “ Táan planeando jump'éel celebración ko'olelbil ti' le súutuko'.” He is planning a celebration in honor of that moment.
Namora turned slightly towards you frowning. Her hand gently pulling away the feather your daughter managed to snatch and eat. “Ts'o'ok ya'alaj teen u yáax t'aan, tu t'aanaj u yaalak' teech na'.” He has already said his first word, he called you mother.
You gently laughed, linking your arm with her free one. You silently shushed her. “Cha’ K’uk’ulkan yaantal le ba'ala, Namora'.” Let K’uk’ulkan have this, Namora.

Don’t think about Namor with a baby/toddler who gets scared when he has to go away to attend court or do other kingly duties, so they cry up a storm that can be heard across the halls, inconsolable. Pairing: Namor x F!reader
Word count: 1.3k
Summary: Only Namor can appease your greatest fear.
Warning: Nothing really, well I really don’t think there is a warning, just fluff or my idea of fluff
A/N: Hi! I guess I’m still in need to have more fics of this man, I know I know, but I can’t stop! And this is going to be my fic for this week, sadly I’m entering my last two weeks of school so the projects are driving me crazy, I hope I can have a bit of time to answer your comments or write your requests (my inbox is open by the way, so if you have an idea, tell me about it!)

You bit your lip, a bit guilty as your thoughts pulled you away from the conversation with the older women from Talokan. You were getting frustrated trying to craft a simple basket. Apparently it was a tradition for new mothers to create one for your unborn child, a token of love.
You hated it. Your hands couldn’t move right, it was like that basket wanted you to fail from the very beginning. You could feel the eyes of the older women at your disastrous creation, too fearful to say anything to their queen, to the one that was carrying the heir of their K’uk’ulkan.

It would be so cute if the reader just found out they’re pregnant and they planned this whole reveal for Namor to surprise them, but as soon as they see him just standing there doing nothing, they’re just too excited and run to them yelling the good news before jumping into their arms

Different from the other two pregnancy announcements, you tried to organize something, you didn’t go with Namora for help, this time you decided to go for Attuma.
Being the prankster he is, Attuma told you to just blurted out that you were pregnant, but let’s be honest, you wanted to put a bit more into it. And Namor being Namor, the probability of him already know it made you a bit frustrated. You made sure to hide as best as you could your symptoms.
But it was so difficult! Namor knew you better than you knew yourself. You hated him with passion.
But today was the day, you were prepared, you would grabbed his hand and dragged him to your special place, the very same place he asked you to marry him, the corals.
As you made your way to him, you were feeling giddy and excited, he would be so happy, he loved his children so much that the announcement of another one, ugh, beautiful.
But everything went to hell when you saw him speaking with Attuma and Namora, he turned around and smiled at you, you felt yourself blush and a huge smile appeared on your face.
“K’uk’ulkan!” You exclaimed, quickly swimming to his side. “I am pregnant!”
Namor and Namora just stared at you while Attuma gave you thumbs up.

Maybe one with Namor, when he sees a hidden old painting mural of a girl, and then the girl is found?
Invisible string tying you to me (Namor x F!reader)
Tumblr media
Pairing: Namor x F!reader
Word count: 350 words
Summary: Once upon a time, Namor found a beautiful painting of a woman, he became enamoured with it, hoping for the day he would meet the girl with the sad eyes .
Warning: Nothing really, well I really don’t think there is a warning, just fluff or my idea of fluff with a touch of angst
A/N: I had so much fun doing this! I hope you like it!
Tumblr media
If you asked Namor what is his most precious possession he would immediately point at the painting of the girl with sad eyes he found years ago on a sinking boat. When he arrived to retrieve whatever he could salvage and use with his city, he wouldn’t had expected to find the paint.
It was saved behind one of the locks, it took a bit of a try to opened it (by breaking it) but when he opened and saw the small painting, his fingers couldn’t help but to grace the perfect strokes of paint that created that beautiful portrait.
He quickly took it to his home, putting it on his wall so it could dry and just stared at it. the painting felt like it alive, he couldn’t help but trace her eyes, they were way sad and it made him feel things he never felt before, like a sense of serenity, a need to protect, a want to love.
Since the battle with Wakanda, the feeling of searching for the girl on the picture became a bit more intense, sometimes he went out on the middle of the night, when every single one of his people was deeper in a slumber. He traveled greater distances to see if he could find you.
It took him months and even a full year when he found you there, sitting on the sand watching the sun set.
When Namor found you, you were happily playing with a small child on your arms, the child was almost an exact replica of you. You weren’t alone, as another man came into view and hugged you from behind, giving you a kiss on your cheek, he could even distinguish the small blush on your face, a big smile on your face.
He couldn’t help but smile at the interaction, a part of him a bit sad to know that he had missed this opportunity with her, but maybe in a near future or in another life, destiny would put them on the same path.
