They're just great.
Like the point of them is that yhey're everyones childhood friend.
They're nonbinary to TRANCEND all the gendered expectations round how friendship forms.
They're so nonbinary that the wiki (which is usually tun by the most "well technically..." people) categorize their gender as "Najimi".
If I were to try and explain nonbinaryness to someone I might begin with najimi. Because its so blindingly clear that they're just neither and there is no real point in classifying them.

“Najimi! If you eat any more bread before practice, you’re going to get cramps!” You looked at Najimi, wide-eyed at the pile of pastries on the table. “Plus, practice is in five minutes, my love, you’re going to get sick already with the amount of food you’ve eaten already!”
“Wh— huh?! Practice? Wasn’t that on Thursday?” Their eyes shot wide to match yours as the steamed bun they were eating fell to their lap. “Ow, hot, hot!”
You picked up the warm bun, putting it back on the tray it came from, turning on your phone to show your scatterbrained partner. “It is Thursday! Just ‘cause you’ve been going solo doesn’t mean you can flake out of practice! If anything, it means you need more!”
“Aw, but…” they looked sadly at their pile of bread. “Can you wait thirty minutes so I can digest? You don’t want your poor adorable little girlfriend to get a stomachache, do you?”
“Najimi… have you forgotten again? I’m not in charge of practice today. Making those eyes at me won’t get you out of practice this time.” You pinched their cheek, pressing your lips to their warm forehead gently.
Groaning, they deflated into their seat, flattening against the chair. “Hmmmph… fine. Carry me to my impending doom, oh sweet, adorable manager!”
You sighed, pausing for a brief moment, before tucking your arm under their knees and the other behind their back, hoisting them up.
“Wha—gh!” They sputtered, holding onto you tightly. “Hey, no fair!”
“Your order, your majesty.” You huffed, turning and marching off in the direction of the dance studio, struggling to keep the squirming Najimi in your arms.
On the walk there, they whined and complained, drawing the attention of a few too many idol trainees at the company. When you’d finally gotten there, you pushed open the door with the help of a very shocked Shoko.
“Have a good practice my love! I’ll save the bread for later, I love you!” You kissed their cheek, before running off do run your other errands as their manager. “Take good care of them, Shoko!”
As you left the corridor, you heard music, shoes squeaking and a pained whine every so often. Yikes. You should book them a spa day soon. And maybe run a bath for them.
“MC~! Why would you leave me here?!”
Yep. Definitely should run a bath.

Can I have some Osana hcs on how would they/she/he confesses? I don’t see enough Osana or maybe I’m too blind

Type - fluff/hcs (with a little sprinkle of angst/osana sulking because im mean)
A/n - of course you can have najimi confessing hcs and I know right there isn't enough najimi and I think I have only found like one or two and I accidentally got too invested and wrote a lot oops
Ok so I'm not going to sugar coat this
They are fucking straight forward with their confession
But you can't blame them i mean you're probably their childhood friend
Unless you're a komi situation
Anyways we'll talk about that later
Honestly they probably would ask in the worst time possible
But if you say yes they'll be extremely happy
If you say no they'll be kinda sad and very awkward with you they won't seem like it tho
Okay now we get to the hard part
So if you're like komi (calling out the komi kinnies) and not najimi's childhood friend this will be more difficult for najimi
Since they probably can't look you in the eyes here's what they'll do to get the encouragement to ask you out
Lots and lots of practising in the mirror for a week
Then uses tadano to practise for 2 days
Then they're ready and leave a note in your locker next time they go to school
Probably have the place they said for you to meet them be the rooftop and the time would be end of day since before school people would be talking to them
Insert osana trying to calm down while waiting
When you get there I think they would stutter a lot while asking you
If you say yes you now have a very happy and not so nervous najimi
If you say no they'll might literally get sick for a week or more and will be scared to face you
