Peter survived the Snap, but now everyone he knows and loves is gone—everyone but Tony who takes him in and cares for him like his own son. It only hits him when he lies awake in his bed in Tony and Pepper’s apartment in Manhattan days later: he is really, truly alone now. hmmmm idk i think for this one ill have to choose the scientific method. maybe it's because ive written that more to please an abusive friend i had at the time, and i feel like the sex-repulsed plot point (which is the thing i included to please them) is just clunky and it doesn't fit, so i'm just not happy with it, and i feel like it should be jarringly obvious that that part is bad

i do wanna rewrite it!!! make a version that reflects more who i am now, how i would write it if i didn't write it to please my abuser. so yeah!

Harley’s had a stressful day. Scratch that, a stressful week. Spilling her coffee after a night of barely any sleep certainly didn’t help. But at least that cute boy in their class made their day a little brighter. OR: Harley spills her coffee and Peter gives her tea instead. Both are gay disasters about it.

Peter has a crisis and accidentally messages Harley about it. Then he messages Ned about it. Then he messages Matt about it.

Matt asks Peter what's wrong but Peter refuses to eleborate. Harley sees the Tweet and is confused. When he asks Peter about it, he refuses to talk about it.

Then it leaned against the backrest and let its gaze wander. “Just, um, I want you to know that I like kissing you. A lot.” Fae looked back to Peter, who watched faer intently. “Well, not just kissing you,” Harley added quickly. “But it’s all just kinda—” “All at once?” Peter supplied. “Amazing, thrilling, exciting, butterfly-inducing, lightning-fast, and world-stoppingly terrifying?” Harley let out a startled laugh. “Yeah. That. All of the above.” She looked down to where her hand was holding Peter’s, the one with the black spinny ring, and she spun it around between her fingers. They didn’t like wearing rings himself, but fidgeting with the ring someone else was wearing was … surprisingly calming. Or maybe that was just because it’s its soulmate. “It’s not that I don’t wanna date you, I want it so much it’s … well, terrifying,” fae repeated and looked up at Peter. “I just feel like I wanna be able to hold a conversation with you before I ask you to be my boyfriend, you know?” OR: Peter and Harley decide to take it slow for now.

A soft smile spread on Harley’s face. “Thank you,” she said and pressed a kiss to his cheek, but she glanced at his lips so Peter leaned in to kiss her on the mouth instead. Their lips tasted of salt and chocolate, and Peter wanted nothing more than to wrap them around himself like a blanket and hide from the world in their arms for the rest of the night. Harley kissed him back, its hand curling around the back of his neck, and then it pulled him up in its lap. Peter yelped, the sound muffled against faer lips, but then he just held onto faer tighter. And then Peter pulled back with a sigh and pressed his forehead against Harley’s. He didn’t quite know how to articulate what he was feeling, so he just said, “Thank you, too.” OR: Peter and Harley decide to go back to the tower and watch a movie instead of their initial plans.

“How would you know he’s my destiny?” Mordred avoided Merlin’s gaze and stared straight ahead, mulling the question over in his head. “I don’t know,” he admitted. “I can just feel it. Right here.” He placed his hand over his heart. “Your magic has always felt kind of … incomplete. Cerdan said I’m mistaken and that it just feels weird to me because you’re Emrys. “But he’s wrong,” Mordred declared confidently and looked at Merlin. “Your magic felt different, fuller, more complete, ever since yesterday morning, and the closer we came to the red knight, the more … the …” Mordred frowned in search of the correct term, but then simply settled on, “the more it became. And when you reached him … it was just like something slotted into place, something that had always been missing.” OR: Mordred and Merlin have a talk about destiny.

Peter gets stabbed. Harley is worried.

Penny is in love with Harley since she met her at Stark Tower a year ago. In unrequited love—or so she thinks. MJ, trying to help her get over her heartbreak, tries to set her up with other people, but Penny is not amused. When she complains to Harley about MJ trying to get her to date other people, she offers to become Penny's fake girlfriend to get MJ off her back. Now the problem is: Harley likes Penny, and she's not sure what to think about this.

Peter talks to Matt about his crisis. Harley reassures Peter.

Spider-Man addresses the poll results. Spider-Man pushes Daredevil into a lamppost. Foggy says something he shouldn't have.
