Can't Sleep.

So yeah, I can't sleep due to the basketball game I'm having later. I'm not new in the game so I'm wondering why I can't sleep as if it was my first time playing the game. I don't know if I'm excited or not, but I just can't wait to meet my team later on. If you're a basketball person, keep reading. I'll keep writing. If not, stop. :)

So yeah, I started to get serious in playing basketball when I was 15, which was 2 years ago, and I'm actually kinda good at it for some reason. I play as a post player also known as a "Centre". To become as Centre you would need to be at least 170cm tall and it would really help if you're also big and bulky so that the opponent won't be able to push you around easily because as you know, basketball is a rough sport. But I can assure you that it's safe. Well, sometimes. Hahaha. So yeah, today we're going against our "brother-school" in the west-side of Singapore, Clementi. We're brothers because our schools both have the same coach. NanHua High is pretty strong, but I can say that my school is on par with them. Mostly it depends on the fighting spirit of the team, who's willing to win, or who's not willing to. Aight, that's it for now. I'll post later about the match. This past Summer I was thankful to do anything volleyball related more than once a week. Now I have the luxury of training more than once a day on a regular basis. It's all about perspective. I don't have to wait a week to get the opportunity to work on the things I want to improve. I have the opportunity to improve not just daily, but hourly. I must remind myself at times of the blessing that is the life I live, but never make the mistake of not appreciating or taking for granted that I get to do what I love FOR A LIVING.
