31 Days of Witchcraft: Day 24 - What is your Familiar? So I have two, both cats, and they are very curious about my witchy stuff. If I am doing any sort of ritual, or even just open my box of craft supplies they both are right there wanting to be involved. Luna has been my familiar for nearly 14 yrs, ever since she was a tiny kitten. Otto, who is still a bit of a kitten himself, has joined her in this. Though the two do not work together, they both enjoy working with me. I have a strong bond with both cats, even more so than the others in the house. They know when my mood is shifting and when their presence is needed. They also know when to leave me be. Often when meditating they will lay close by but not so close as to bother me, unless invited. Very well behaved furballs.
