I have so many!!! I definitely can't name every single one but heres a few that have been extremely influential to me!! This took me 2 hours to write i am SO sorry lmao
Puyo Puyo (Specifially Fever, Quest, and Tetris)
CUTESY BRIGHT BRIGHT COLORS!!!!!! Thats everything I love!!!!!! I'm pretty sure I talked about this when I first got into puyo puyo but I for SURE instantly decided that yep Im steering my style in this direction sorryyyyyy!!! I just think its so fun and silly and cute and rahhh it makes me so happy.
Especially for the work I do most often, which is character portraits without backgrounds, I will often look at puyo puyo posing just to get ideas!! (I've drawn Arle's dumbfounded pose 100000000 times becus I love it so much). The puyo puyo anatomy has very noodly arms and legs but with big ass shoes and accessories which is probably my favorite design thing in the world....
I seriously recommend just looking through the Puyo Puyo Nexus wiki for pose ideas (if you want something cute/silly of course) because every single one is just perfect. I am trying to get out of some dumb art habits of my own right now, but hopefully in the future you'll be able to see more goofy poses with sillier effects :3
Muse Dash
Again I want you to look at the COLORS. Its so bright and this time you can really tell where I took my shading style from. I dont want my shadows to be dark I want them to be PINK or PURPLE. thank you. For my own art, I really try to make it so the darkest "black" is actually a deep purple or blue, and as I keep making art that dark color keeps getting just a bit lighter haha...
This is also the reason I color my lineart the way I do. I just really want to add as many colors as possible into the image. And if the image looks a bit more pink after that then thats just an extra perk!!
I also need to bring up the animation because they're just so bouncy and alive!!! This is like an instant stunlock for me, I have to look at them, theyre so BOUNCYYY!!!!!! I don't do much animation but every other week I get the sudden urge to try tweening again just to eventually get to the point I can make something similar to these for my own ocs lol
Great Pretender
This show has some of the most gorgeous art ive ever seen. All the backgrounds are so bright and colorful. I dont usually draw art with backgrounds anymore sadly, but when I used to I really tried to study these for them. And I hope in the future I can make more art and show how far I've come.
Though I;ve changed to a more chibi style in recent times (thanks puyo puyo), this was still one of the first times I had ever watched a show and said "Oh my god I love this artstyle I need to get better at art" and Its always in my mind for that reason.
Ive definitely stolen lots of elements from the style. Though they've gotten more subtle over the years. I dont really know how to describe it any further but I hope you understand what I mean by looking at these screenshots,,,

Okay, I know you probably can't answer this like last time. But this is more of a question than anything because I gave myself a little longer to look at the clue you gave me (clue?), and realized a few things. But yeah, there's gonna be some theories. I'm just having fun with this AU. It's more chill than the other ones. To clarify what I define as "chill", is that this fanbase isn't all over the place, and the story isn't so unnecessarily sad that it keeps me up at night.
I don't know if this is fanart that you've already shared before since I haven't been following your Tumblr that long, so I'm just gonna assume this is something that you only decided to share with us now.
*Ahem*, so taking into consideration what you said in response to my last two asks, the guy we see 3 weeks later is indeed Spot. Don't know what happened to him, but I'll just wait for the context to come. I realized that Leo is holding what I assume to be Spot. I was about to go into a whole spiel that Leo didn't originally have claws like Spot, but I shut myself up when I realized that I just forgot your art style for a second.
Anyway, I'm still trying to figure out who's shadow that is. And since you referred to "the person that I didn't mention" to be someone that I should already know, I feel a little embarrassed if I am supposed to know them.
The reason for my confusion is because they kind of look like a mix of pretty much all the villians in the show???
The arms remind me of both Big Mama and Spot. The head reminds me of Shredder and the Krang. And the rest of the body is emitting some kind of magic that looks like the Krangs tentacles. They also look to have animal ears, lmao??? Either its Big Mama, Draxum, or some other turtle. Whoever they are, they got Spot crying in fear and Leo trying to protect him. I'm just at a loss, though. :')
my artstyle did change a bit, i draw all turtles with those claws. i just like how unhuman it looks :)

that shadow has been in tmnt before, but he isnt in rise. i made my own design for him
shredder and kraang wont be in my comic, i had ideas to implement them, like a whole arc with spots being protected by the foot and abusing that to sabotage the armour, but i thought itd distract the focus of the au too much

Ahh...since always I think. I used to be on DeviantArt (I wasn't very good lmao) then at 20 I decided to be more serious and really learn. Or at least try. In 2018 I joined twitter then a year later I was in art school and it greatly improved my level. I graduated in 2021 but I never stopped studying. I still have troubles with the basics and my anatomy skills could be better (let's not mention my awful colours) but I do try, everyday to learn something new but first and foremost always have fun with art. Because if you're not enjoying what you're doing, what's the point ?

The Nanny, Paulie the Parrot (instant tear-jerker. I still have the VHS) Kill Bill, Resevoir Dogs, Robocop, The Fly, Dogma, Starship troopers (hilarious), Galaxy Quest (oh...Alan Rickman) Jumanji, Mathilda, Sisters Act, The Devil wears Prada, The princess's diaries, The Grand Budapest Hotel...(and all the action movies I watched thanks to my father) let's not forget the animated movies that deserved better and changed my brain chemistry : Atlantis, Treasure Planet, Sinbad...
And there's more. The thing is, that question is so difficult to answer. It's like asking me what's your favourite color ? I simply can't just pick one...I love green and yellow but we also need orange and purple and blue ! Movies are like colours and I just need as many shades as possible in my life, otherwise I'd get bored ! I don't know if I'm making sense 🥴

im so scared right now. this is the first time ive posted on here in a WHILE so my artstyle is :skull: completely different. i plan on revamping this whole uhh profile. ill still keep up the artwork though so my growth can be visible :- )
so this is a part of my blue diamond au i was doodling. i dont plan on making any comics or anything just some little silly pictures cause i like that kind of thing.
so i kind of felt like keeping all their previous personalities, i dont like when they take after the one that they were replacing, but thats just a personal preference. im just gonna infodump lmao
yellow - since shes more of an easily aggrivated one and has a superiority complex, i thought instead of controlling gems like white does, she could paralyze them, so the finale keeps its effect while still being in character. her pearl is still the same, likely a different outfit or form though, i havent decided yet.
pink - she's still childish and tempermental, but it's more forgiven due to her rank, and it's less because of her responsibilities. her old pearl, pink pearl, was still given to white, however white also already had a pearl. she just has two now. ( it is not our regular pearl, its a new one with a new design ill give. ), she's probably the one who needs them the most, and they will NOT be controlled, pink pearl will just be rejuvinated and given a new form <3 more on that later. our pearl does not exist in this au, or she does, i guess, but since our pearl is just the "default" settings, i feel like THIS pink would give her a form that actually matches her, and due to the different style of her being raised, she felt less remorse for damaging pink pearl. still remorse, just less so due to her desensitization and her having to shatter gems with her role.
white - this was mentioned in the artwork but my handwriting is sloppy so ill repeat it. she controls all the gems in her court, because she wants perfection. this includes the gems of different colors, for example.. our peridot, our peridot WILL be a different gem, and she'll probably be a light pink naturally, white when controlled. during future all of whites court will be freed. these gems are controlled from screens, like the ones in yellows room in SU:F. most of her gems remain idle until necessary, but her pearls would assist her in controlling them because. That's a lotta work. she likely has a lot of different gadgets to figure this out cause, yeah, the gempire is big but . . i made this up like an hour ago so cut me some slack.
blue - blue will still be emotional, and that's likely a causation of her rebellion. her pearl is the same as hers in the canon, she did not hit her like pink did. their relationship is still toxic, and like rose in canon, she was trying to change. she just failed. while pink affected the gems because she didn't realize the power she held, and never finished what she started ( spinel being abandoned... she's a little freak for that honestly. also commanding pearl to stay silent, (i don't think that was intentional, i think she just felt like it was a normal request, and didn't realize how much power she still held. that could be debated though cause "for my last order to you as a diamond"..)
i think blue affected them emotionally. guilt tripping, self pity, and 2-D thinking. blue was probably more prone to shattering, but would also be very hypocritical. she could not see from the rebel gems perspective EVEN THOUGh she's trying to recruit them. to her, she just wants to win.
anyways that was what i was thinking lmao i kinda just made this up #Sorry
i only drew banded white agate because i did "random steven universe character generator" and it was like "holly blue agate" and i was like Yea Sure im down.

Ok yall finally talked me into it and I downloaded Too Hot To Handle the game... and I love it. I'll echo what everyone's saying that it feels like what I loved about season 2 LITG is all here.
Here's some other live blog thoughts about how good it is lmao
The animation is leagues ahead of what LITG tried to do for matchmaker/s4. It's smooth, it's not static characters uncomfortably blinking and breathing at you. There are really smoothly animated cutscenes, but generally the characters are static with expressions changing similar to LITG s1 and s2
I didnt think I was going to like the artstyle- it's realistic similar to Choices or Episode LimeLight- but all the characters look really good and the backgrounds are what you'd expect. It's not an iconic artstyle like LITG, but it gets you attracted to/invested in the characters.
The customization is insane. You can be man/woman/nonbinary, and choose from thin curvy or muscular for both genders. Unfortunately there isn't a fat option or a visibly transmasc option, but that's a pipedream lol. There's SO many different skin tones and just as many hairstyle options for textured hair as there are for straight/thin hair. You can have your physically male body wearing a bikini, there's tons of tattoo locations and styles to choose from, the jewelry isn't locked to female styles, and all the outfits look good on all the body shapes.
I really like that they have you choose from preset faces instead of customizing each feature individually. Your character ends up looking more cohesive than LITGs uncanny MC, and I'm sure it's easier for the artists and programmers to change MC's expression. There are like 10 face options for both genders, and they prioritized racial inclusiveness so you'll definitely find one that works for your character.
The LIs are hot. My biggest complaint with S3 onwards was that LITG just gave the boys way too many muscles and lost touch with proportion. THTH's characters look like real people. Not to mention there's. LI with vitiligo (Sarah you're so hot plz marry me) and an nonbinary LI (Alex you're also so hot please marry me, it'll be much healthier than Sarah and I's relationship)
There's no clunky opting in to be attracted to the same sex, you decide on a LI by LI basis if you're interested then their attraction to you is based on an accumulating meter of your interactions. That seems WAY more inclusive than the way LITG ever did it.
At the end of every chapter you get to see the percentages of how you chose versus how the rest of the players chose and I'm OBSESSED with that. It feeds my individuality complex for sure because the rest of the player base doesn't have good taste 💅

anyways hihihi sorry it took so long to answer this eeee
Okay so I didn’t actually do that much formal research for it, because anytime i try to do that i feel my creativity and livelyness is sapped out of me (probably one of the reasons i hate school lmao) anyways
It’s actually a really funny (and long) story how this au came to be, so at first i saw the party clone of MK in lego monkie kid (this won’t make much sense if you haven’t watched that show sorry, but also at the same time if you haven’t YOU REALLY SHOUDL ITS REALLY GOOD AND THE ANIMATION MAKES ME DROOL NGL) and i was like yo wouldn’t it be cool if Lloyd had an evil party clone too? and then it expanded to an RGB evil clone au (cuz i’m a sucker for RGB siblings haha) and then i got the idea for nya to be a racer and to have a cyborg gf (cough cough pixal) and i was like okay scrap all the clone stuff were making this a completely independent au because this is MUCH cooler. and yeah, idk where the whole cyberpunk thing came from, i just thought it would really fit into the themes of fighting rings, clubs and races :DD
After that i was a bit busy for a while with school (just like i am now :c) but the brain rot for this AU was still going strong, so I made a pinterest board where i saved just a fuck load of cyberpunk shit that i thought looked cool, and whenever i had time i’d use those to draw the designs! here are some sketches with their references :D (zane and harumi included since they were ur favs! ps zane is my fav too, he just gives off such manager vibes but, hot, HAHA)
(ignore the lines, procreate just fucks up stuff if you change the canvas size and you try to access prior versions of the drawing through the timelapse option lmao)
anyways as you can see not even all of the references are cyberpunk stuff
AND YEAH I USED UR LLOYD AS INSPIRATION, I REALLY LIKE UR ARTSTYLE OKAY MOVING ON
some of the stuff was different and changed a lot through the process, like for example i decided against harumi having the furs because she would never wear them in this AU, she needs practicality in her fighting matches haha. I also changed a lot of lloyd design, cuz i was like “hehe, heelies” cuz zoom zoom, yk? and then u have zane, which was really straightforward coz i had almost exactly how i wanted him to be set in stone in my mind xd

Wait, Shurisu is the ship name between Shun and Alice?
I remember when Bakugan was airing and I would look for the episodes in YouTube and I would stumble upon ship amvs of Shun and Alice, even one where they claimed they would kiss later in S1 (obviously fake).
I distinctly remember it being one of the most popular ships in the fandom, but was the series hinting and building a possible relationship or friendship between the two and then dropped it later seasons? Or was it more of a fandom invention?
I wish Alice hadn’t been dropped as a character just to see how Shun came into terms with her being Masquerade. Is that something Shurisu as a ship has explored?
Yes it's the combination of Shun+Arisu (Alice's romanisation in JP) . Shalice was also a common name but I think Shurisu sounds better.
About them kissing I have an idea why. If you know Inesidora, she used to make lots of beautiful Shurisu fanarts. She would use a similar artstyle to bakugan's own for them, so people would share her art as spoilers 😂
Shurisu wasn't one of the most popular ships, it was THE most popular ship.There was literally no competition.Even when s4 was airing people were still waiting Alice to come back.Even right now talking about this like it was ages ago feels so weird to me but I know fandom changed so much since then
Ah little me knew and claimed the ship the moment i saw them 😄I still remember very clearly watching the intro for ep 1 for the first time(where Dan introduces us the brawlers) I looked at Dan and Runo and said "oh mc and his love interest?" and seeing Shun and Alice right after, fireworks went up inside my brain. I was like "and this is the couple that will steal the show" I wasn't completely wrong at least lol
In all seriousness though i think, the creators definitely had the intention to make them a couple but dropped it later.
Shun and Alice are both similar, so they are also very different compared to the rest of the team. I think that was intentional.They are both raised by their grandfathers,Shun was trained to be ninja and Alice was also learning under her scientist grandfather.Both are very smart, act mature for their age but also lonely inside.The difference is Alice was masking it (no pun intended🎭) with her more bubbly front. I think Alice also knew how similar they truly were.She was one of the very few people who could see through him and those who could, had already known him for a very long time unlike her(Shiori, Skyress and Dan)
She could sense his mood or what's going on inside his head despite the tough act he puts on.Also the time he wanted to leave the team and she went back after him,her words got to him because she told what he needed to hear,because she could understand how he was feeling.
Maybe not much important but it also always piqued my interest how we would see them together even on most random shots because apart from that, Shun would be pictured either alone or further back in group shots.
Like this moment before the last battle,they were at the opposite sides of the city,how did they end up together?
I think Shurisu was intended to be the opposite of the main couple in mind. In contrast to Dan and Runo's childishness, they would be the mature ship.Why I think they dropped later is that
1)They didn't know what to do with Alice later on so they wrote her off
2)They also didn't seemed to know how to handle Shun any better so decided to keep him as a loner and made being a "loner" his only character trait.
Which I think is very sad because they both individually and together had a lot of potential(not gonna drag this one i know y'all hear me keep talking about this lmao)
About her being Masquerade,We at least know Shun accepts her like the rest of group but since last arc focused more on the battles there was no focus on relationship or characters.And on NV Alice had limited appearance while Shun was on Vestroia most of the time. Through the whole season only once they seemed to be in the same room together (when they send Shun to vestroia via Michael's teleporter) and I belive that's where this pic came from?
Tl,dr; i think they were definitely made to be canon.But even if the creators were to came up today and claim they had no intention like that at all,it still wouldn't change anything for me.What matters is the characters dynamic.When you compare how they act like with eachother and with others and also look at their characters it becomes more clear. "The kind boy who puts on a tough act because he is troubled" and "The cheerful girl who is also troubled inside" is an old but loved dynamic afterall.So that's what drew a lot people in.

please. I'm begging you for more crumbs about VADD!Shen Jiu and also that Roxana AU you have from that art post you did of the two.
As a VADD AND SVSSS fan, especially as a fan of the original villains— please. I AM FROTHING AT THE MOUTH FOR MORE. I'm actually in the process of outlining a crossover with the original goods of both.
God, the Roxana one as well— please, PLEASE TELL ME SJ IS ROXIE HE'S SO ROXANA-CODED SOMEHOW. GIVE HIM BUTTERFLIES AND POISON AND— *gets knocked out*

oh you have no idea how long ive waited to talk about them. this mayyy get a bit long so ill leave it under the readmore.
disclaimer: i intend on finishing these fics so what im going to be talking about is inspirations and unfinished / abandoned ideas and other ideas i have for the works instead of anything relating to the plots themselves
for svadd, sj is a lot more complicated than he appears to be on the surface. im not so sure if what i have written currently is what i /want/ exactly because i know i want his character to go a certain way. the relationships between him and his modern-day friends is one meant to parallel the in-game "shen qingqiu" sj compares himself to and in much the same way, mirror the way that sy contrasts himself with sqq in canon: but instead of being condescending and viewing sqq as a one dimensional character, sj is able to appreciate his nuance while still being rightfully angry over his actions
to me, sj is supposed to be an unreliable narrator who constantly enforces his own thoughts. he tells himself over and over that he misses his home and that he wants to go back, that he absolutely needs to- but then, he turns the other way and finds himself being sucked even deeper into this different one.
i also really wanted to explore how sjs dynamic with a lot of the characters would be affected knowing that they were "based off" his real friends, but again im not very confident with how it came off lol
there was a lot of points in the story where i attempted to add in foreshadowing for the ending i want the story to take... in any case, it definitely wont go the same way as vadd, though i did toy with the idea of a "version" of sy being the main villain haha
(it might still happen for shits and giggles)
as for the roxanna au there are a lot of things ive wanted to do with this au and its good that i havent posted because it means i can keep revising til i come up with something good lol
its a liujiu au with some bingyuan / cumplane thrown into the mix (the cumplane is overwhelmingly toxic btw bingyuan is the healthy one out of the two here 😭) where yes sj is xana !!! he really just makes such a good manhwa villainess haha
i had been puzzling over what i wanted his motif to be-- after all, sj is typically associated with the simplicity and calming bamboo so the glittering butterflies wouldnt work with him- but after some deliberation i decided with using moths for him :3c still subject to change ofc but i think im happy with this as is
the story is somewhat similar to how roxanna goes but surprise sj isnt the transmigrator here! (and honestly, roxanna wouldve been sm better if xana hadnt been a transmigrator... or maybe i just think that because it was only used as a convenient plot point for her to know crucial info. sigh.)
my outline of how the roxanna au goes is basically this:
lqg fucks around and finds out
sj who has been seeing dreams of the "book" sy read knows what will happen to his family if lqg dies
etc
at the same time: sy, transmigrator, attempts to make sure his only surviving older brother lives to a long happy life and the only way he can secure this is by fucking up that hack author
also i killed off qi-ge and idk if i want him to come back. he'll be like the stereotypical dead anime mother for this au lmao

oh um do yall wanna know why i radically changed the way i draw tommy’s hair so suddenly?? for those who want to know, story is under the cut lmaooo
so. i woke up at like 1:30am, couldnt go back to sleep. i decided to get up and draw something, and that something ended up being tommy. however, my brain doesnt work correctly when i just get out of bed in the middle of the night. so, this monstrosity was born.
every single time i tried to draw his hair, it ended up looking like a mullet to me. so i guess that while i was tired asf i went “screw it” and went full mullet. also experimented with artstyle, as you can see.
i woke up that morning to a half-rendered bust of tommy with a mullet. i decided i actually kinda liked the hairstyle, and kept it. idk what the hell was going on with the eyes but i guess the eye color being off was what made me come to my senses and go back to bed.

i really like it how the tmnt franchise decided to change april’s race in the 2018 show her character design was👌 and the rest of the fans agreed and now mutant mayhem april will be black too and its just so cool how the interpretation of her character has changed its so silly i love her
also as a artist and animation nerd i love how Into the Spiderverse inspired so many incredible films like Puss in Boots: the Last Wish, Mitchells vs the Machines, Nimona, and now Mutant Mayhem because of its artstyle and the way it was animated and also how the Barbie movie’s set design was AMAZING and they used old techniques for the background instead of horrendous amounts of CGI and also i lovr Mutant Mayhem’s artstyle its so cool and silly and NEW and i just aaaaaaaaahh

i completely agree with you on the spiderverse animation inspiration too, it’s been INCREDIBLE to see all these new styles of animation! the first spiderverse movie was SUCH an artistic inspiration for me and the second one single-handedly launched me out of artblock ahdkfnfj those movies (and spider-man in general) will always have such a special place in my heart

How do you make your sprite edits?
Hey! I'm flattered that you're interested, that's very sweet of you <3 I'm sorry if this reply came later than you expected but I thought for this I'd made a small tutorial, so I had to get screenshots for the whole process and stuff ehfuerhgr
So first, I start with grabbing the DRS bathing suit sprite of the character I want to edit because those sprites have the least amount of detail for me to erase (for this example let's use Junko)
Then I turn the opacity down on her model and start a basic sketch of the outfit design on top of it on another layer. Because the base has a lot of dark lines and details, I change the colour of the sketch to bright red so it's easier to see the difference.
After that, I make a new layer and start the lineart. Because the artstyle uses inconsistent line length, I try to do the same with my lines (a good tip is to see how the line width looks on the original base and try to mimic it on your own lines, it may not be 100% accurate but it'll at least be closer to the original style than if you used the same width throughout)
Then, I add the colours and the shading. This part gets a little complicated, because instead of doing the base colours and the shading on the same layer, I make one layer for the shading and then create another layer for the colours, which I put underneath the shading layer so I can keep the shading consistent (another tip: follow the shadows on the original base where appropriate and then add any extra shadow for stuff like fabric folds. This is especially important if you're editing a female character because of the shading around their breasts)
Next, I go back to the base and edit out any details from the original bathing suit that wouldn't be there with the new outfit (Junko's actually a good example for this, as her bathing suit covers her midsection but my outfit design doesn't, so I would have to edit it to look like it's exposed)
(Another tip is to add shading in accordance to the new outfit, such as the beaded armband in the picture above)
Buckle up for this part because it's a Lot-
This part might be a little confusing because I realised after taking the screenshots that I might have done the process...out of order? Compared to how I usually do them at least lmao. So what I ended up doing was blurring the lineart and shading layers slightly to match the blurriness of the original sprite, merging those layers + the colour layer together, making yet another layer, choosing a dark colour that fits the palette of the original character and making a circular gradient over the outfit, as the original sprite also has a gradient.
Then I searched for the polka-dot texture you see in Junko's hair and overlaid it with the outfit, resized it, blurred it and set it's opacity to where it matches with Junko's hair as much as possible (thanks @sir-sunny for this tip!)
(The texture that I use is the first result that shows up on Google Images when you search 'danganronpa texture overlay', which was made by JLE42 on Deviantart, who says it's free to use)
Generally I don't name my layers, and I usually delete the obselete ones as I go on, but for the sake of this tutorial I decided to keep them so y'all know what they look like. These are the result of this one edit:

After that, I add every layer except the sketch layer together so it's one image (depending on the layering, I have to add certain layers in different orders so the last image is as neat as possible)
And there you have it! I'm sorry if this got hard to follow, this is my first real tutorial and I'm extremely bad at articulating myself efhiuerg. I hope it's at least enough for you to get an idea of how I work!
(Any messy bits I intentionally left in because the THH sprites are messier than the other games and I wanted to replicate the style as much as possible)

It's almost a year and a half since you've joined the Tumblr fandom, what are some things you feel different about than how you felt before? Are there any things you used to like but don't like it now or vice versa?

Hmm, opinions of mine that have changed over the time... let's see! (Some of them are controversial)
Nowadays, I feel indifferent towards Gajevy. Don't get me wrong guys, I like them together, just not into the ship as much as before. And it's not because I ship them with other characters now.
I don't like how the sequel portrays Juvia/Gray/Gruvia. Feels like they can't have their own moments without somehow the ship being involved. I wish Mashima gave Gray some good fights, Juvia some relevance to the plot.
I love Jerza much more than I used to before, they're now my favorite after Nalu!
I don't want Jellal to join Fairy Tail, let him be on his own missions with Meredy and the former Crime Sorciere members. It'll be great if he's relevant to the plot and meet Erza in between for onscreen progress.
I don't want Ignia to hurt Lucy to trigger Natsu. I want Lucy to have her own connection to the Ignia plotline if she's going to be involved in the mess.
I don't want Aquarius Stardress to merge with any other since that completely destroys the uniqueness of the other one used. Let her get other combos. Enough of bikini outfits.
The sequel sometimes does injustice to Natsu's character by playing him as dumb which isn't the case at all.
I don't want to see another broken fight between Lucy and Brandish for Aquarius' key. Let them decide the ownership in a more mature way.
I love Rogue x Yukino more than Sting x Yukino and Rogue x Minerva.
As of now, Selene is a better character and villain than Ignia. But Ignia is more interesting.
Erza vs Laxus puts all other Erza fights to shame, even Erza vs 100 monsters.
Lucy's Capricorn outfit is absolutely sexy but as a stardress of a combat oriented spirit, it doesn't do much besides saving her from hypnosis. She should have combat abilities more.
Lucy's Cancer and Sagittarius outfits are better with the black leggings added by the anime.
Atsuo can't draw women as good as Mashima does. The thin waists and wider hips seem funny. Lucy and Juvia look bad in his style. That said, I appreciate his efforts to keep Mashima's artstyle a lot but it just doesn't work for me. Also Laxus' body shape looks absurd at times.

And yeah, I don't like the sequel's treatment to Nalu as well. Just in a different way than Gruvia.

🎨 When did you start creating art for the Inception fandom, and what is your inspiration?
I made my first Inception edit when I stumbled upon an edit on Instagram with a really nice edit audio I could work on! (Hear me out, it was a Tenet edit LMAO). Not to mention it was also the time for an Inception event on tumblr, and that's what I decided on what film edit I should make... Inception! :D
🎨 Tell us about your creative process, and which part do you enjoy the most about it?
It can be fun, but sometimes can get frustrating too haha! The part I enjoy most about editing is to look up specific scenes I should add to either match the beat or to match the song lyric. It's such a fun process because you're looking up to the film and creating this whole new vibe with the edit. The only frustrating bit is when technical difficulties occurred and the lags I encountered whilst editing. Trying to match the scenes to the beat can be pretty annoying too sometimes, because it doesn't always end up perfect when you export the video. But, overall, it's been such a wonderful experience! :)
🎨 Link us to your first and latest artwork, and how your style has evolved since then?
First work: A New Beginning and Latest work: Forever. (Not gonna lie, it's not much since I've only made two edits... But don't worry, I definitely will make more in the future!). I would say that my “evolution” throughout my edits is that I've changed from making something short and simple to something more intense, heavy, and well—duration-wise—longer! It's great, 'cause it shows how much I'm motivated and inspired to make something more special. ^^
🎨 What is your absolute favorite piece of art that you've made, and why?
It has got to be my latest work, Forever! And the reason is pretty much already answered from the previous question; It's more deep and heavy compared to A New Beginning. I'd also like to say that this edit has an impactful meaning that relates to the characters (Cobb and Fischer) and gives off some sort of a narrative as well from the connection of the song to the scenes I add. It also took a pretty long time to edit since my laptop was laggy :") If I could make any changes from Forever is that I'd like to give it a little tweak, because some of the scenes don't really match to the beats! And I'm blaming my laggy laptop >:(
🎨 What is something about Inception that you really want to make art for someday, and why?
I definitely would wanna make more video edits of it! (Like I mentioned during the previous question). I already got some ideas! Which includes making a cinematic edit where I'll showcase the beauty of Inception and making another angsty edit ('cause why not?). The reason is because—other than to practice my editing skills—I feel like I need to make more edits to give high appreciation to Nolan's hard work and to also spread Inception to a much larger and wider audience who's never heard of the film before!
