anden made sure to find a quiet corner when he smoked, feeling a little bit better about the bad habit he couldn’t shake as long as he wasn’t putting out smoke around too many other people. still, that didn’t mean a place would be empty and he wasn’t entirely surprised to see someone else wander onto the street, and he gave them a polite nod in acknowledgement, hoping it didn’t look awkward. “did you want one?” anden asked, holding out the pack of cigarettes slightly as an offering. he didn’t mind sharing, even if they were painfully expensive on a student budget. getting rid of a few would probably be better anyway.

"I have been having these terribly weird dreams," Ciri looked over at Xiao Chiye with a sigh that followed and with the thoughts of how unsure they felt. it appeared that while the cia could move on from ruyi, she had a harder time. she spent the night meandering about the museum, seeming to be an onlooker of the entertainment, but her mind couldn't help but to clock every detail. it hit her every time she'd start counting the number of exits in each new room she entered. this one had two. the former agent turned her focus away from exits to attempting to enjoy herself. going down the snack table, she picked anything that looked interesting. "you know, this is about the fifth time this song as been requested and i have no idea what it is," she comments, venturing her hand in small talk. "do you happen to know?"

zhur'ren wandered the garden, hands held behind his back. he was unimpressed by it all. the smallest of things like a garden were the last thing on his mind. his eyes lifted to the other person in the garden. "how long will you be tending to these for?"

MaoMao's face paled to an off white color. That was a coffin. A real ass coffin. MaoMao let out a screech. What was with this maze and making her worst nightmares come to life. MaoMao tried to run the other direction but collided with a figure. Feeling disoriented and panicked, MaoMao tried to speak.

"D-don't g-go there." She warned her hands shaking as she pointed to a coffin. "D-don't go." She said pleading afraid for the stranger to become shell shocked like herself.

"how long do you think it took them to set all this up? it must've taken days, right?" elain was impressed, having not been to any kind of party like this in years, anything of the sort having been far beyond their means after what happened to their father.. it was a nice to be back in this environment.

He found he did that often, and was used to doing it -- because of the work he'd done in the past at the bureau, he'd analyze crime scenes and then say his thoughts about them out loud. "It's a good way to pass time, but I also worry that I'm too in my own head to get lost in a book."

" yanli calls out desperately upon spotting her brother , who is , much to her dismay , on the opposite side of a stream. she would run to meet him , to make sure that he's okay , but the current is moving much too fast for her to trust. she's afraid that if she attempts to cross through the water , that it would pull her down to the wrong end of the maze , to undo the little progress that she's made. so instead , she stays put , hoping that the other can still hear her over the sound of rushing water. " a-xian , are you okay ? " she asks as she does her best to assess him over the distance. reassured as much as she can be from this side , she looks around for a way over. " do you know what this place is ? "

gina loved antique shopping. every city she moved to, she tried to find one special thing that was hers. antiques stores were like treasure troves to be uncovered, and having filippa by their side made this trip that much more important. she searched among the shelves, trying to find the perfect thing, when she spotted a rusty gold teapot amongst the relics. "what do you think of this?" they ask, holding it up so filippa could see, "too aladdin-esque?"

crossword puzzles, to most, is a leisure activity. for dongkyung, she likes to make it a challenge. she always wrote in pen, and she adamantly refused to look at the answers. asking for help after an hour being stuck, however, she decided this very moment did not break the rules. “do you know what a 10-letter word for a quick board meeting is?” she asks the person next to her.

"Almost ready!" Hua Cheng called as he did their makeup in the bathroom. They get done up to both impress and kill, so if they are doing eyeliner with a knife, so be it. "Coming gege!" After making sure nothing is out of place as he makes their way. "I'm ready. How do I look?" They spin around a bit.
