hi!! i just wanted to let you know that i started reading cherry magic in july last year after seeing the anime announced on toyota-sensei's twitter! i couldn't even rlly translate the announcement myself without the help of google translate LMAO but her illustration of them looked so sweet i had to snoop around. more than half a year later. i am no longer normal and my brain is fully rotted over and i think of those two nearly every waking moment!! your art, along with so many others feeds me and your translations are So Appreciated thank you for doing gods work. i usually don't get super involved in fandom or w/e other than consuming fanart or fics so the fact i find myself actually drawing them is so new to me...idk cherry magic really is so refreshing and it's just nice as an adult to see a mature relationship between two working adults. there are callbacks to childhood or childlike behaviors or interests sprinkled throughout the manga's dialogue and i always appreciated how they weren't seen as embarrassing or immature to embrace or learn from as an adult, but encouraged or seen as a valuable part of balancing work, life, and love. idk it's def one of the more subtle and less expanded upon parts of it but i love how adachi's and kurosawa's love of manga, though seen as a children's activity (from how kurosawa thought people saw it) was actually one of their first mutual hobbies. it's also interesting to see how many things about kurosawa's psyche are remnants of ideas probably for a lack of better wording, were taught to him from an early age. his self-image, how he tries to uphold certain societal standards, etc etc. im glad he found refuge in adachi that way. im sorry for rambling for so long but i've just been thinking about these two so much ldks

and yess everything u said abt the childlike/immature stuff krdc enjoy like the fact that their interest in manga and stuff is never made fun of or anything (which would be ironic anyway since theyre In a manga themselves fdkjskf) but actually one of the things that gets them closer is So good augh?? (also spoilers for the radio drama if u havent seen it yet, but to me one of the best changes they made was changing the port scenes setting to an anime con instead like Yeah!! theyre little nerd guys of course theyd attend a con!!!! that plus how they both like watching animated movies and playing games too like its a very specific thing to Me but that relatability w stuff i do myself makes them both feel a lot more human? if that makes sense)

also w kurosawas whole deal its Definitely a longterm thing hes had for a while, and in canon its mostly been his friendships/relationships that affected him (probs the most clear in ch45 my beloved) but from the way the meeting w his parents went theres for sure a lot of parental/family pressure involved too?? this is going into hc territory but i have like a whole Thing brewing in my head about kurosawas and maris relations w their parents and how that affected their self image and all growing up too and i rlly wanna make stuff for it someday (idk if anyone would be interested but id probably do it regardless so fkdjksjfk)

#the full idea actually is for a whole mari spinoff as like a fic or smth bc i care her immensely . but that is ambitious even for me lol #i have Thoughts about these siblings though like their issues intrigue me so bad. so much wrong w them i need to pick apart #and similarly w adachi being a child of divorce like! thats got to have influenced him right. i Have To Know #i think about these charas a normal amount as u can tell 👍#my answer

i'm in bed and all diwali celebrations are finally over and i just spent like 15 minutes just sobbing in bed🙈 firstly because i don't think i've ever felt so happy and comfortable with myself as i did this diwali🥺🥰

i didn't need to wear a ghagra (long heavy skirts not that i hate them) or sth frilly or a fricking blouse of any sort. i got to wear clothes which were so so comfortable and so so gender affirming (idk if that's a term lmao). i've worn similar stuff before and never realized why i had felt so happy in them and i don't think i really understood how much this would mean to me and my gender to be wearing clothes that felt so ME.

i got to be whoever i wanted to be. i got a chance to embrace my own gender and i'm still cuddled up in bed sobbing at how wonderful i felt these past two days.😭😭😭💖💖💖

for once i wore sth for myself and dressed up for myself and MYSELF only. i didn't care that i got told i look too chubby or that my clothes were "boy" clothes or that i should've kept my hair long becuz short hair doesn't suit me or that short hair and traditional clothes don't go tgt (BITCH HAVE U SEEN HOW BOMB I LOOK?!?! HOTTEST NB LESBIAN IN TOWN!!😂 more like only lesbian in town lmfao)or judged for the fact that i changed nail polish colours so many times in like 2 days (i think my nails are abt to disintegrate)

i didn't fucking care this year because i was so happy to finally feel good in my skin (tpwk ref👅). i've always had so many issues with myself and with my mental health. it's taken me such a while to get to where i am and accept myself for the way i am.

i still struggle daily with my relationship with my body, my relationship with food, my relationship with painkillers, my relationship with my adhd my depression or my anxiety, my relationship with school with friends with family with myself. i wake up everyday and just try to grow and be a better person for myself to be someone worthy💕

i just wanted to take this moment to thank everyone for any and all interactions they may have directly or indirectly had with me🥺. becuz i don't really follow a lot of people nor am i good at making any new friends (i suck at it becuz ppl find my personality over the top cuz i'm loud and flamboyant and so fking talkative and i feel like i'm never enough :/) BUT i made a resolution this year that if i couldn't get myself to interact with real life people becuz i find ppl generally really fking annoying😂 that i'd at least finally try and make some online becuz i've been in this fandom and on this site for wayy too long now😌😌

i know i'm just some person in your phone you just made u read a rubbish emo essay all abt myself😂 but i just wanted to let you know that every single interaction has made me feel happy and validated and i just wanna say thank you for somedays being my reason to want to live to see another day🥺💖 thank you for creating a safe space for me knowingly or unknowingly and thank you for being absolutely fantastic human beings😚😚❤❤

I found it endearing too that Satoru asked for y/n kiss as a payback for the face mask :") they went through a lot and I'm glad they still got to be playful in a way, y/n willingly kissed Satoru and her still being comfortable with Satoru's hands on her things and waist :((( I still firmly believe they need to heal individually even though now Idk if it's need to be done solely by divorce or temporary separation would be a better option

I want to 👏applause👏 you for S*ra in this chapter. She is someone capable of love, it is clear that her filial love for her siblings run deep. Probably she deep down loves her mum too, but her scar caused by her parents were deeper than the love for her mum itself. It just, when it comes to romantic love, she has it the wrong way. S*ra is pretty, smart, and hardworking. Of couse she would think highly of herself, but the world indeed do not revolve around her fantasy. I hope she will accept, one day, that everything she did for Satoru after their break up was rather based on her insecurity because being pretty smart and hardworking is apparently not enough to keep a man to love you especially when it wasn't even healthy in the first place.

Am excited for what you have in store for Momjo and Satoru! Also me think Jiro will work for Momjo :-)

this isnt really an ask but just my thoughts on the new chapter!

honestly the end of this chapter makes me so worried about y/n especially with the condition of her heart and her eventually having to give birth is honestly very scary and probably very risky. im also starting to love the connection between y/n and gojo build up again but i can't really tell if its genuine or just because y/n knows 1. gojo has a lot on his plate right now and isn't in the right place to take care and handle it himself 2. she knows shes pregnant and doesn't want to carry on with the divorce now that theyre having a kid and/or 3. both. also i was thinking of creating a playlist for SN because i feel like a lot of the songs i listen to could connect with the story.

i know nobody asked but i genuinely get really sad when people are intimidated by me 😭 or think i hate them or something like that. im very aware of peoples emotions and shit like that when it comes to other people

but when it comes to me?? im super dense. like genuinely quite dense. it sounds bad but when people say they like me, i cannot comprehend it at all. im both 1. very antisocial by nature bc i have low social battery and 2. dont know how to engage people in conversation because i dont think anyone wants to listen to me talk like ever. i never approach ppl first for the same reason.

if you ever think i dislike you, unless i've explicitly said it (bc i will do that) the short answer is that i dont. it's really hard for me to make friends cause im so antisocial and dont like opening up. i can think of 2 or 3 people that i think consider me friends AND vice versa

it's very easy for me to love people but i literally do not know or understand that other people love me a lot unless they express it. i can consider you a friend but ill always believe you don't consider me one unless you go out of your way to tell me.

it's not that im fragile i just struggle to see good in myself (im trying but man) anyways, i dont hate you and dont be intimidated. im just not good at peopleing and its nothing about u and everything about me

1. why did you choose your url?

i love win metawin. simple. my previous url like very early on was sarawatined and then i went to metawwin then i removed the w. hehe

i always considered making one (i got lazy) but then i realized that this blog is my personality and i like having one blog for all my interests and likes bc it represents my brain lmao and i’m aware it’s a mess but i love it.

3. how long have you been on tumblr?

i made this blog on april last year but i’ve been on tumblr since october 2009 so i’ve seen it all.

4. do you have a queue tag?

nope! i prefer scheduling posts tbh.

5. why did you start your blog in the first place?

the main reason was 2gether. i made it during the final eps and i just remember seeing everything on my dash and being so fascinated bc it was my hyperfixation at that time. my friend angel had made a blog and i was hesitant to come back to tumblr at first bc my prev. blog got hacked and deleted and it was a scary experience for me. but i ended up doing it and i was super happy. also, i started watching thai dramas like around 2016 so it was nice to find all these dramas on tumblr again and even new ones afterwards.

6. why did you choose your icon/pfp?

she’s my wife 💍 (that CK shoot.... man. i edited it on photoshop and idk i like how it turned out and i really like the bg color. and how she’s holding a film camera as in to represent all the dramas i watch ;) or smth like that)

7. why did you choose your header?

well i love brightwin, they were a huge part of the reason i made this blog so i like having a win url and a bright layout and technically when i had a twitter i had a bright username so they just complemented each other. 💕

1. why did you choose your url? Though i guess most who want to know about it already do, here's the story: I dated someone i truly really loved, and after a long relationship online only, we finally met in person and they decided a romantic relationship is not what they wanted... We became "friends" and split a cheap best friends pendant necklace pair. The part i got had "st ends" on it, and i use that as an abbreviation for saint ends.. I still wear the necklace on occasion, even in some selfies. Mostly keep the url as an aesthetic thing, but also as a reminder of the person i was with. We have since lost contact... Probably for the best :(
