#mira makes gifs ✨#sophie shepard #james vega #EDI #thane krios #jeff joker moreau #mass effect #mass effect 3 #me3 #mass effect legendary edition #dailygaming #priority citadel is one of my favorite priority missions in the game so it’s a fun one to gif!#i absolutely love how much thane content you get in the front end of the mission since thane is one of my favorites!#and bailey is one of my favorite npcs in the game so i adore that he gets a bit of a spotlight role in a bigger mission too!#but i will say that i do think priority citadel has some.. writing issues? to put it mildly?#i think my biggest problem is that i feel like everything with udina feels like it kinda just comes out of left field #like it feels like there’s VERY little build up for what happens with udina being a cerberus plant #the idea is interesting!! but i wish there was much more build up for it? it’s sort of just- there for me and it just comes at you so fast #like udina had always been sort of portrayed as a kind of shifty/power hungry character (don’t get me wrong)#but the cerberus plot line seemed VERY hastily thrown in and i wish there was a bit more subtle nodding to it throughout earlier missions #and i could write essays about how i wish kai leng was written better #but people who write much more eloquently than i do can put it in much better words than i can what problems there are with his writing #i think he had potential to be a super interesting character if he was introduced earlier and was much less stereotypical in form #also i’m sorry mr. leng but miranda wears the armor better (I SAID IT AND I WONT APOLOGIZE FOR IT)#the fight between kai leng and thane is *chef’s kiss* 👌 tho (i adore the cinematography of the shots as a video editing bitch)#ME3 has very nice fight choreography in some of the cutscenes (especially the ones with kai leng and the phantoms)#thane krios will always be my beloved and in canon he and soph develop a mutual respect over their hand to hand combat skills :)#also i forgot to say joker looking so absolutely done with everything in that first gif is me irl ✨

so im doing both bc why the fuck not

send me a fic title and i'll think up a fic!

GENUINELY my first thought for the first one is a santa clarita diet au LMAO?? i've never seen it though so technically im still original. but like jack and crutchie are roommates. jack either eats something that gets him sick or something insane like an nyc rat bites his ankle bc this is a comedy. jack starts acting... weirder, and crutchie picks up on it pretty fast bc they are 🤝. it's almost like jack has this concussive brain fog and it takes him a while to form sentences, he's talking a lot less, eating less, much more irritable. kinda of like crutchie is dealing with a moody, hungry teenager. but the night after when c's smoking on the first escape (medicinal....not medicinal... c’est la vie) jack comes out to join him and like.

"you ever get these weird, like. cravings for stuff you can't eat?"

"god yeah, i used to want to eat lava and playdough and shit like that all the–"

"like yeah, that stuff too but like...when you bite your hand and you keep biting it, you know, 'cause it's kind of squishy and like. food?"

"did. you... you did hit the joint i left out, right?"

"nah, i was just thinking, i guess.. or i've been thinking."

"fuck."

so it's Charlie's Terrible Horrible No-Good Very Bad time of trying to hide the fact that his best friend is now half-zombie, and especially how not to tell david jacobs, jack's boyfriend and c's longtime friend. i usually make charlie into the enigma but i think jack should be it, for fun. also i think it'd be funny if it took crutchie kinda longer to realize that what's wrong with jack is zombification specifically because honestly... jack is just like that LMAO??? he hates waking up in the morning, he's tired a lot, he has weird eating habits, makes weird noises, not a lot of perception on if he's being loud or not, zones out a lot. jack's basically halfway there already tbh. but he'd stopped creating, which is what initially tips c off.

the shenanigans of hiding it and then needing to find a cure before it's too late is just fun asf. also jack gets to literally lose his mind. haha. ha. ha. :)

now the SECOND title. lmao

~davey is pushing himself to hard againnn yeahhhhh!!!~

college au, davey has an exam coming up that he's going crazy about. hours on hours of studying, isolation, stressing, not eating as much...jack is really worried. he asks his friends what to do- some say to leave him be to get through it, some say to talk to him, and then albert dasilva says "why don't you just..kidnap him."

"what?"

"yeah, so he doesn't have access to any of his textbooks or notes or laptop, you just toss him in the car and drive."

"what is wrong with you," charlie says, but jack is nodding.

"no wait. say more rn."

so during the late night before the day before the test, it's like 3am when davey finally falls asleep at his desk, and then like. the cueing text is sent in the group chat from jack and all the besties scurry into action.

jack lifts davey into his arms, and their dorm door is opened for them silently by albert. race right next to him surgically places a sleepmask onto daveys face so the hall light doesnt wake him. romeo's holding the elevator open. mush and blink are holding the downstairs doors open. specs and crutchie drove daveys car (having stolen the keys earlier in the day of course) over, open the passenger door for davey, lower the seat, set a blanket over him, carefully close the door, and wish jack luck.

davey wakes up two hours of driving later to signs saying they're in south jersey of all fucking places. it's now the day before his test. and davey is livid.

"you kidnapped me."

"technically it was albert's idea"

"i don't see albert driving my damn car. turn around, jack, it's really not the time to be fucking funny right now."

"i'm a little insulted at you not thinking i know you well enough to do this. if i really thought you'd hate me for this, if i really thought it would- destroy your grade, or your college career, do you really think i'd be doing it?"

"maybe."

"no, sweetheart, jeez. you've studied for the past fifteen days- if you just relax, you'll make the grade, and there's no way you would've let yourself do that back on campus. so, i kidnapped you."

they spend the day together fucking around at the atlantic city boardwalk and dipping their feet into the ocean and watching the sunset before driving back. david gets a 90% on his test and maybe he wanted a 92% but he wouldn't trade grades for the world if it meant not getting kidnapped by his boyfriend and their friends. :)

Sokka’s fingers curled around Zuko's arm, rendering him thankful for his shirt's long-sleeved barrier. Compulsively, he looked into Sokka’s eyes, where he was met with fondness.

“When I find a way to explain it to myself, I’ll let you know.” The words sounded teasing on the surface, but Sokka’s tone seemed totally earnest. Zuko laughed anyway, a quick huff breath, then nervously cleared his throat.

in honor of the one-year anniversary of episode 141's airing (yesterday but its 3am so hush) it's DEEPLY missing the mighty nein hours

#im a MESS #and absolute MESS #im not gonna put it all here but i just did a lot of introspection on my... difficulty to move on? from campaign 2 and how that might be a #reason why i am/have been struggling so hard to get into exu and campaign 3 #i really want to give c3 another shot as ive only watched the first few episodes and i REALLY want to watch exu calamity #its just. hard. for grief suffering reasons (yes thats the right word for my stuff for additional personal reasons)#but i dont want to just have current critical role not be a part of my life anymore. i cant fucking stand it #i adored vox machina when i was watching it before c2 came out and i still do #and c2 and the mighty nein literally was a core pillar of my life. for Years. and theyre so important to me and idk what i wouldve done #without them in my life when they were here #and i miss them really bad and a part of me wants to go back to the time when c2 was still airing #but i can manage and catch up with the rest of the fandom and have fun again with all these new characters #i dont doubt that i'll love the bells hells when i just give them a chance and i think now's that time #i want thursdays to be exciting again. i want to liveblog with mutuals again and nonstop share amazing fanart and meta and fanfic #fuck im crying again aaagh #ill always carry the mighty nein and their story in my heart because they were and are so so important to me literally changed my life #maybe i should make a true appreciation post soon but not rn #idk i guess i needed to put these thoughts somewhere #thanks cr for being amazing and beloved #thanks mighty nein

YOU DID GOOD, KID!!! I'm honored to be your first ask, so lets get into it bc I made you wait long enough for this...

Ah Yuri Plisetsky… Yurio... my son… my boy… lets see, shall we…

1. My first impression of them

I knew about Yurio long before I even started watching YOI because I had fallen down the pipeline of “gnc long-haired blond anime characters with bangs” which started with Howl and, more importantly, Mello. And if I associate you with Mello you win.

As for when I actually started the show, (thx grace) once I saw the scene where Yurio is yelling at Yuuri in the bathroom early in ep 1, I knew he would be an interesting character. Once he was running from the Yuuri-on-a-hug-rampage later that’s the exact moment I knew this lil ball of anger needed to be protected at all costs.

2. When I think I truly started to like them

Because of the previous answer, lets just say I knew I was gonna like him right from the get go.

3. A song that reminds me of them

I have a couple for this but don’t read into them because BOTH were song recs from an AMAZING Otayuri fic I read half a year ago. Aynalayin is my fav of the two.

8. Your favorite outfit of them

WTTM – the classic, hands down, no questions asked

10. Describe the character in one sentence

A tiny but powerful blond skating prodigy that works himself to the bone all because he wants acknowledgement from his lifelong idol… and because he gets to wear “knife shoes”

23. Future Headcannon

I think Yurio is destined to have a long successful career that surpasses Viktor for sure. I like to think that its an injury that does him in. Only because I do not think Yuri would ever leave the ice willingly. But it happens when he officially becomes the oldest skater to ever win worlds. Oh and he’s the first to land a quad axel in competition… ever.

27. If they could meet a character from another show/movie/etc. who would be the most fun for them to meet?

Hmm…

Ok hear me out… I don’t know if HE would want this, but I really think it would be funny for him to meet Atsushi from Bungo Stray Dogs. A boy who can turn into a TIGER!?! I mean COME ON!!! Also because their personalities are so different I feel like that would be MAD entertaining.
