Baltimore Jane Doe (2002)
On August 16, 2002 at 13:45; the victim was found in the yard at 3225 Ravenwood Avenue, in Northeast Baltimore, near a railroad track. Body was found in a mummified state. There were no fingerprints because mummified bodies yield no prints.
Gold front tooth with a dollar sign or "S" on it. She had an overbite.

Rooster skull with its comb. The skull was beetle cleaned, degreased, and whitened with peroxide. The sclerotic rings were glued in place. The comb was formalin fixed and dried, then glued in place. A super cool specimen done for a good friend ❤️

I really do want to know what happens when a person dies but they genuinely have no relatives or friends to deal with everything...
#like i know the government will do a paupers burial or maybe cremation but like ??#who cancels the bank accounts who cleans out the house if there is one#who sorts out all the taxes and payments that are still lingering#makes me wonder#like yeah probably theres government entities for that but its still interesting#guess thats how they find remains fully mummified in homes years after the fact sometimes tho
