crazy theory time!
In this scene Mrs. Driscoll was already possessed by Vecna and she put toxic stuff in that glass of Lemonade, but Nancy didn't drink that! She puts it down, and we hear the sound of her putting down the glass.
and maybe one little hint about this was the fact that previously she said that she liked the quiet, but then she told Nancy that she enjoyed the company of people in the other scene!
In the first scene she was herself

so what if it was Henry saying to Nancy
'' You're quite a regular little detective, aren't ya?''
because she was messing with his plan and he was pissed about that, and that's also why he sends the monster to kill her first because she's the first to disturb his plan in season 3

i hope driscoll’s 26th birthday in alaska was a good one. i hope it was peaceful. i hope he woke up to new snow on the ground and remembered again why he keeps doing this. i hope he found a big spider and carried it gently outside. i hope he took a long quiet shower. i hope he smiled that day, or if not, that he cried. i hope it felt good to cry. i hope he ate something hot. i hope he watched the lights from his porch with fresh coffee and breathed in the cool air. i hope he saw his breath crystallize and fade in front of him. i hope he saw a bear i hope he saw a moose i hope he saw a deer in the woods. i hope he fell asleep and dreamed of nothing in particular. i hope it felt natural, safe. real. i hope and i hope and i hope

I've never once not laughed at this shot because it looks like Nancy sees Jonathan about to get flayed and mercy shoots him with zero hesitation

Not to be sappy and all that, but even though I find it tragic that Jesse will forever have to live under a fake identity for the rest of his life, and how lonely it might be, I also see Mr. Driscoll as a means for him to start anew where he can finally rediscover his true self again.

I watched the chip 'n dale movie because my mom loves those two and it was kinda funny but the peter pan thing-
like if they did it in a way to call out how industries exploit and abuse young actors, it would have been kinda ok. but no. they would have to hold themselves accountable. so its he villain bad evil.
and they could have used anyone?? oswald the lucky rabbit! hello! him holding a grudge about being replaced by mickey. any of the older disney princesses! cinderella becomes pissed off after being bullied about a character who is "weak" and a "damsel-in-distress" when all she wanted was a night out and managed to make a guy fall for her. mr smee sick of being the sidekick. or any of the sidekicks for that matter. and even if they had to have peter, they could have gone around it a different way.

no but i’m also thinking about how they not only stopped will’s doctor appointments... they also stopped?? picking him up and driving him everywhere? especially joyce was terrified of having him bike places on his own and you’d THINK that fear would be even worse after literally seeing her son get possessed by the mindflayer and screaming in pain when trying to get the fucker out so i’m just...? why did that stop suddenly? i can totally see will begging his mom and jonathan to just let him go out with his friends without needing to be driven everywhere but even if he did convince them to let that happen i feel like they should’ve shown A Lot more concern? not only them but also the party... but no yeah we know how s3 loved to ignore everything that happened to will :)

British Comedy month 4 - Bean
Bean, also known as Bean: The Movie, or Bean: The Ultimate Disaster Movie, is my favourite memory of seeing a movie in theatres. Why? Because I went with my entire extended family on my mom’s side. Long story short, I have a big extended family on my mom’s side – she was the third of six kids, and most of them have kids of their own. Everyone gets along. For those who are somehow not aware, Mr.…

when you make fresh pasta, you have to knead the dough for a long time. generally speaking, it’s not done until you can stick a finger in it and it springs back up again. jesse learns all this for the first time in alaska: of course he used to make lunch for ginny back in abq, but that was Different— it was always easy stuff, grilled cheese and salads and instant hamburger helper. nothing as deliberate as pasta. it’s a while before he’s ready to Cook again, really, with the everything, and those first few weeks are a blur, but eventually he gets hungry. he can’t quite tell if it’s day or night from the thin slats of light passing through the blinds onto his comforter, only that he is awake and there is something empty inside of him. he wanders aimlessly into the kitchen, which is wide-open, spacious. untouched. ed had provided him with enough food for maybe a month— more easy stuff, boxed and frozen and plastic-wrapped— but most of it is gone by now, leaving only ingredients. he finds flour and olive oil in the pantry, eggs in the fridge that still look okay. in one drawer there’s a thin stack of index cards, recipes all in ed’s neat, careful print. he flips through them until he finds one that looks easy: fettuccine alfredo, something he vaguely remembers his mom making when he was a kid. and this is how ellis driscoll begins his new life, swaying alone in an empty kitchen, squinting to read in the early-morning light. he presses into the dough and watches it puff around his finger. something Solid and Real. the first sign of civilization is a healed femur. the first sign of healing is a home-cooked meal. the pasta always springs back.

Y'all are aware of the famous bop to The Chordettes' "Pink Shoe Laces" from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel episode "Vote for Kennedy, Vote for Kennedy" making the rounds on TikTok for OVER A MONTH:
Almost any regular churchgoer who has seen the 1st episode of Britcom Mr. Bean AT LEAST THRICE (That's Catholic MEEEE!!!) would endure the same facial challenge as the dance.
Just as the dancers in the TikTok reels try to keep a serious face dancing it, anyone who watched the sketch with the titular character keeping awake and sneaking a sweet during a sermon several times are going to likely find it hard keeping a straight face singing ANY HYMN with the tune Lasst uns erfreuen!

I went and found the book ask muah ahahaha and picking one was HARD and I think I'm finally going with O and Q
helloooooo and thanks!! (pretend this isn't a Horrifically Delayed Answer because of who i am as a person, please XD)
referencing this post!:
O: One Book That You Have Read Multiple Times:
unfortunately i suspect None Of Mine are a surprise to you, but: most recently has been murderbot (beloved)! i also keep locke and odd thomas accessible for this purpose!
Q: Quote From A Book That Inspires You/Gives You Feels
so it turns out i have a horrendous memory for specific quotes, which is why i outsource all my quote remembering to colorcoded flaggies that i can stick directly onto pages. since i'm currently Deep In Driscoll mode, have this one, from Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell:
"He had taken a road in his youth, but the road did not lead where he had supposed; he was going home, but home had become something monstrous." (p708)
And, as a Bonus, please also have this one from Akwaeke Emezi's Dear Senthuran:
"You make one thing, and someone makes something else from that, and from there the world is changed, one fraction at a time. It reminded me that I send the work out as a proxy, which is part of the protection. The work is of me, but it's not me, and that's perfect because it can't hurt like me, it can't be broken or bruised. It's invincible, really--tens of thousands of copies swirling through the world, spells dripping into people. I've let that absolve me for not being able to do more myself, for the limitations of the flesh, the ways I couldn't afford to be a messenger crammed into planes, spreading this gospel with my mouth. I'd rather be a dragon. I'd rather keep making the stories and sending them out like an army, waves and waves over the hills like a million monsters with salvation under their tongues." (p206-7)
thanks for asking, friend!!
