It's September 24th, 🦍 World Gorilla Day. This worldwide celebration commemorates the day in 1967 that Dr. Dian Fossey established the Karisoke Research Center in Rwanda's Volcanoes National Park. Karisoke, which is now run by the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, is dedicated to the study, conservation, and protection of gorillas and their habitats. Dr. Fossey was an American zoologist who lived from 1932 to 1985. She spent much of her life in Africa and became the world's leading authority on the Mountain Gorilla. Hollywood turned her bestselling book, "Gorillas in the Mist," into a blockbuster film starring Sigourney Weaver as Dr. Fossey.

According to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), there are only around 600 mature Mountain Gorillas left in the wild. They’re found within high-altitude mountain and bamboo forests in just two isolated groups – one in the Virunga volcanoes – spanning the borders of Rwanda, Uganda, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), and one in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda, contiguous with the DRC’s Sarambwe Nature Reserve. Mountain gorillas are completely vegetarian, feeding on leaves, shoots, and stems. They live in groups of several females with their young and one dominant adult "silverback" male – easily identified by his huge size, regal demeanor, and a patch of silver hair on his back.

All four subspecies of gorillas – the Cross River Gorilla, Grauer’s Gorilla, Western Lowland Gorilla, and the Mountain Gorilla – are critically endangered due to illegal poaching, civil unrest, disease, and habitat destruction. However, there are many great organizations and individuals all over the globe who are dedicated to fighting for the gorillas’ survival. Although June was a real lady as a child, sometimes it happened that she let herself be carried away by the wildest senses of her inevitably leading her to get hurt.

From her particularly delicate skin, the pain she perceived of her was unbearable but, luckily for her, there was always Johnny of her who knew perfectly well how to calm her and make her smile again.

Often, however, it was not the pain of the accident that hurt her but rather her dressing herself.

There, too, needless to say, that the gentle boy took on his shoulders... in every sense... the weight of that carelessness.

He's in shape and he's been beating people up no he's been climbing trees and helping people and it says I'm outnumbered and they're not in shape and won't help me cuz when we help to try to war on us she's trying to think of what to do and we know where the exit is I'm trying to get him to run out of it for some reason and people there and I'm trying to get there and we couldn't I'm trying to do other stuff this is ready a whole bunch of stuff to bother these guys. And heard you're famous and he gets it so you calm down and they calm down and then watch these guys try to come in to grab them other guys are outside fighting them and it's violent so the corner and they finally so it's just thatch and it's slowly going through it and they walked away but that's what they go through a lot it's not long. Is that one of his boys and he said he can't have the name heard what he did and he said it's okay and he said that's terrific then a real huge growl and Kong isn't nearby but he said he heard about it later

And Kong heard the story and it came from other gorilla and said they heard him growl and said what's the problem and then he told them he said I saw a hole and it went through it and people are praising me and we matter to them. And they told Kong and he said we matter to a certain degree and they have a promise that we don't know if it's true and it's true too didn't say we're going to leave the planets here at least I don't wonder why since the heartbreak but it's history and we're not sending anybody here I said what is this going to happen so I don't know but it's not going to help your ego.
