my personal thought that has quite literally no canon basis is that cable and rachel have traded which one is older back and forth so many times in canon that like they both think it is hilarious to call each other kid/old man(lady) sort of at random

#i think when nate is older he feels like he owes rachel protection and assistance because of what she did for him as mother askani #and i think when rachel is older she feels kind of burdened by babel's expectations for her as mother askani #which is a role shes not really ready to accept yet

Greetings! I'm asking the reverse of a question from a few weeks ago.

Who would be each ASOIAF character's favourite X-man, or mutant if you prefer? Obviously there's a lot of ASOIAF characters, only whoever strikes your fancy of course.

I could have sworn I had done this years ago, but I think I must have gotten a draft or something eaten back in 2018 when I did the reverse of this. In order to make this a bit more manageable, I'm going to stick with ASOIAF POV characters only.

Bran - Xavier. A morally ambiguous disabled psychic. Kind of over-determined, really.

Catelyn - Madelyne Pryor. A wronged wife with red hair granted dark powers to wreak revenge.

Daenerys - Jean Grey. A woman of immense supernatural power who literally walks through fire? C'mon.

Eddard - Cyclops. Honorable warrior respects honorable warrior.

Jon - also Cyclops, but only after the Dark Phoenix Saga.

Arya - Laura Kinney or Gabby. Not sure which.

Sansa - starts as Firestar fan (justice for Lady Butterrum!) ends as Emma Frost stan.

Tyrion - this is more a deep cut, but I think Tyrion would be a huge Whiz-Kid fan, especially his S.W.O.R.D era incarnation.

Theon - I think Theon would be a Quentin Quire fan; something about the combination of great potential and raging insecurity.

Davos - Gambit comes closest, but I could see an argument for Storm, especially Storm's depowered era.

Melisandre - Rachel Summers. Fire, Mother Askani prophecies, the whole shebang.

Jaime - big fan of the Fenris twins. Just kidding. He's super into Angel/Warren Worthington III, and has confused thoughts about whether Warren is better off with Candy Southern or Psylocke.

Brienne - super into the Captains Britain.

Samwell Tarly - I think he'd be a Beast fan, but Percy's X-Force would make him very sad.

Aeron Greyjoy - Exodus is another predetermined choice.

Victarion Greyjoy - doesn't see why Sabertooth has such a bad reputation.

Asha Greyjoy - big Laura Kinney fan.

Arienne Martell - I could see her being an Emma Frost stan.

Barristan Selmy - Cable. Again, white-haired grizzled soldier who protects children of destiny. Not a hard pick.

Quentyn Martell - has a soft spot for Beak.

For the Sexy Days of Summers Event happening right now we've invited Scott Summers (Cyclops) fans to take part in spreading more love for him out there on the internet by creating fanfiction, fanart, fan works, etc. to celebrate our favorite X-Men leader and the possibility of what if. For the duration of this challenge so far we've received some really incredible submissions with super rare pairings that are new to us. What happens, though, when Emma and Ororo work together to provide them what they're both missing?

These are the days it never rains but it pours by Wolfsheart (Rated T) Bobby should be excited to be sixteen and catching up in age with at least three of his classmates, but his birthday party didn't leave him feeling all that happy. His parents didn't bother to show up, and once the initial festivities were over, everyone kind of just left him alone to do their own thing. Except for Scott, who decided that cheering up the birthday boy was how he wanted to spend his evening.

Hanukkah fluff by SilverStreak_928 (Rated T) When the X-Men got back from the future, Bobby had decided to come out to his parents. They didn't receive it too well so Bobby stayed at the x-mansion with his boyfriend for the holidays. But Scott can tell that Bobby isn't very happy; Scott takes matters into his own hands in an attempt to make Bobby happy.

afraid to get too close by orphan_account (Rated T) Bobby is conflicted about his feelings for Scott. Scott does his best to reassure him that their is nothing wrong with how he feels.

The Knights of Emerald is a heroic fantasy book series written in french taking place in a fictional medieval universe. Kira is the main female character. In short : She is purple from head to toe, with clawed fingers and toes, sharp teeth, and vertical pupils. She's half insect (her father is a giant ant, so what ?) half fairy and half elven. Her father is a megalomaniac emperor who raped her mother and wants to invade the continent where she lives. She is a crown princess but abdicates her throne because she knows nothing about politics and prefers to fight to protect her people as a knight. During the series the reader sees her grow from a toddler to an undisciplined nine-year-old child who does not yet have the maturity to understand why she is overprotected against her father's schemes and why she does not have the right to become a squire like her friends, then to a fifteen-year-old teenager who is insecure because of her looks, finally has the right to join the knighthood and experiments romantic love, then to an experienced adult who still goes through several trials before she can fulfill her destiny. I love this character !!

Bridgess (knights of emerald)

Bridgess is smart, straightforward and a born leader. She's kind of like a big sister to Kira and has been very supportive of her. She manages to stand up to the most stubborn characters of the series but sometimes she breaks down and fails because she is not perfect and perfect characters are boring

Swan (knights of emerald)

Swan is brash and has trouble obeying. She was born into an extremely sexist kingdom and continually feels the pressure of having to prove herself in order to be as respected as men are within knighthood. She's quite friendly and very tolerant, especially with her best friend Kira. Swan starts a family in the midst of war and struggles to deal with this new change in her life, fearing that she will not be able to fight with all her pregnancies, experiencing guilt and pain at not being able to be with her children and not seeing them grow up as much as she wants
