Mater Suspiriorum
In his book Suspiria De Profundis, Thomas De Quincey talks about the three Ladies of Sorrow. The second one is Mater Suspiriorum, Our Lady Of Sighs.
«The second sister is called Mater Suspiriorum , Our Lady of Sighs. She never scales the clouds, nor walks abroad upon the winds. She wears no diadem. And her eyes, if they were ever seen, would be neither sweet nor subtle; no man could read their story; they would be found filled with perishing dreams, and with wrecks of forgotten delirium. But she raises not her eyes; her head, on which sits a dilapidated turban, droops forever, forever fastens on the dust. She weeps not. She groans not. But she sighs inaudibly at intervals. (...) I always feel bad for Noctis when he learns of his father’s death from a newspaper. I took a closer look at the paper and they really did a good job with it considering you can barely see it in gameplay.

With still images from the Kingsglaive movie the newspaper shows the tragic fall of the city. Sub headlines read, World Empire, Skies Ablaze, Fall of the Wall, Imperial Army Blockades Crown City and Empire’s Plan: Trick or Treaty? With Ansel you can go anywhere so I ducked underneath the paper to see what was on the other side. There is no back page sports news from the Galdin Beacon but you can read about Eats: Catch of the Quay - a seafood paradise swimming in delights, and Goblins Run Amok. Ok, FFXV Tumblr, Question time!
Re. the "Help me mother Ignis" character switch line from Prompto to Ignis, I'm curious as to whether there are different in different versions of this line by region (Australia here, so PS4 region 4), are there multiple versions of this line in English, or is it just the translation in Official Works that's different? If it that there are different versions by region then I'm curious about what other lines might have similar variations, especially knowing some English translations of lines vary quite a bit from the Japanese version.

Son of Zaun is now a standalone one shot! I've doctored the summary, the tags... It's not the first chapter of a zaundads meet-cute anymore, but a one shot exploring Silco's early life, to the day his mother takes him upside to watch the sunset, and he realises an entire world is squatting on top of his own.
I wrote this fic very early on in fandom, and I'm still very proud of it. I've referenced it in F&D, and so added it to the list of "inspired by", but in truth it came first. I had a very different understanding of the characters at the time, Vander in particular was still such a mystery to me... And I'm scrapping everything I wrote for that original story. It just isn't good, nor do I want to explore it.
If you haven't read this fic, I'd recommend you give it a try! It's 2k words and pretty sweet (if I do say so myself!!)

It's mad still the ages of the chocobros
Like Gladio's the oldest (2nd of April) at 23 legit to me doesn't look 23 granted he's 6ft6 too and has been pretty tall since he was a teenager plus man sometimes has to act older due to his job
Iggy is the second oldest (7th of Feb) at 22 despite the fact his hair stuck up makes him look like he's older than me and also gives him tired parent vibes
And Prom and Noct are both 20 but Noct's a couple of months older cause (30th of August) and Prom's (25th of October) but to me they feel younger at times
#plus it's just so funny Ignis basically mothers Noct despite only being 2 years older than him#granted he's basically been like a big brother figure to him since they met pretty much#but God the anime adds to it#but yeah if you haven't watch 15's brotherhood anime all the episodes are officially up on youtube#they're in japanese pretty much though they've never been dubbed
