It always seems insane to me that when Titanic (1997) came out, people said Kate Winslet was “too fat” in the film, “Jack couldn’t fit on the debris because of how fat she was”, etc., because I can distinctly remember being a child watching the film several times when my mum bought the DVD, and that whenever I saw the scene where Rose gets out of the car at Southampton and the camera shows her looking up from underneath her hat, I would ALWAYS without fail think “oh my god that is the most beautiful lady in the world”… like nine year old me genuinely thought Kate Winslet was the single most beautiful woman on the planet, you could have told me that she was a goddess and I’d have fully believed you.

I stand by that opinion by the way, anyone who thinks she wasn’t beautiful can fuck off

Yea yea I think it's mostly about the aditude thought y'know. While you're right that Sails just looks like Tails in a cheap pirate costplay; past trauma, personality and interest vise, Nine and Tails are most alike out of the four and it's also an ironic spin on Nine going "We're nothing alike" near the end of the second season (boy you had no idea lmao) also I have been infected with the Sails Is Actually Missing His Right Ear headcannon so there would be a visual difference!!

BIG JOKE!!!!!🎭 alot of her stuff ties into my personal lore hcs abt LC that I don't want to ramble forever about, but I can maybe think up a few lil details!

▪︎The mask is 100% ingrained into its skull, it would be impossible to remove safely and like any good parasite any attempt made by others would cause Joke to get hella aggressive

▪︎Despite being Masked she is not contagious, the way the "disease" spreads is vauge but nomatter how many times it can drench teammates in blood they are okay (not mentally)

▪︎After being masked there was efforts to get rid of it but BigJoke was the TANK of the crew, the few that had pushed her buttons literally got their heads crushed, it was horrific (especially for Joke when she was out of her haze) and now the general opinion of its crew is LET IT DO WHATEVER IT WANTS

^Doing whatever it wants includes, sabotage, monster eating, people eating, stealing etc. The Mask is utterly chaotic and Its mood is fully dependant on whim impulses

▪︎Currently in the development of her story, BigJoke applied for a new crew after turning her old one to mashed potatoes (semi deserved)- being regrouped with an unfortunate crew where Benji is! The two have incredible drama especially when the little guy thinks he can talk down to a lady almost twice his size. Lemmy may also be there, just a gang of broken entities trying to reach that quota!

in the elementary school gifted program i was in we had to use this math website and everyone hated its dumbass mascot with the most fiery passion. in the beginning you had to put together pieces of him and it was our greatest hope that at the end you would get to tear him apart again .

Yep! Vigilante Tiso is one of my older and blog popular AU’s for Hollow Knight (based on poll results)

Originally, it started as a joke about Tiso being in Hallownest early just to take the piss out of PK and Lurien, but slowly developed into a more complicated story about Tiso being Xero and Markoth’s son (Xero biologically and Markoth via marrying into the family) as Tiso moved to Hallownest much earlier - eventually putting his distaste for the royalty into become the cities Vigilante that continued through the Infection Outbreak and in-game events. Instead of an arrogant ant that dies in the Colosseum, he’s a hot headed ant that’s been trying to protect survivors of a dying kingdom whilst wanting a solution and is willing to die for it.

A lot of it focuses more on the character relationships as they change and are affected by the story events - particularly with a small family being torn apart as simple mortals in a gods war.

sometimes I think about a different ck s5 where Robby and Miguel are prickly with each other, and insult the other but also don't get into fights directly bc of their shared beloved trashfire dad.

and then that turns into stopping each other from getting into other fights, and that turns into having each other's backs in fights until they suddenly wake up one day to find out that they are sorta maybe kinda friends who say they hate each other but they're the only ones allowed to call the other one stupid

anyway that's what I was hoping for with the boys and I was vaguely disappointed I will tell you

My dog, Mellow, had surgery today. Only has 3 teeth left now. It took 4 hours for the surgery. He's home now but he's definitely scared and confused. It seems like, as of now, that he'll recover fine

But for any Christians who may be reading this, a simple prayer for him would be very appreciated

Literally spent 48 hours doing next to nothing recovering from a bitch-ass flu after spending the whole Friday tanking it like a champ (read: shaking and being utterly miserable for the entire day)

i'm sorry you feel that way. you may have been cursed with a medical condition and the horrors, but you also have done tremendous work to be a very kind and gentle soul who works their ass off.

so yeah you may be cursed, but you made the choice to be a wonderful person despite it all. and quite frankly i think that is beautiful. and if you have a hard time reminding yourself of that, i will pester you with compliments and kindness because that is what you deserve :)
