So today is Post Amazing Art Day on my blog 🙈
These two pics of my OCs are by my friends @thecraftedmacaque and @picapicamagpie, and I just love them so much!! The monkey is Odalys (my fursona), and the gorilla (Breck) and the chimpanzee (Mortimer) are her chaotic friends. Their expressions are just so perfect; Breck looks like the kind goofball that he is, and Mortimer looks nervous because he has a crush on Odalys (she has no idea 😂). Odalys' face in both pictures is so adorable, and they did her face fur perfectly 💪🏼 Face fur is my favorite feature of anthro monke characters, so this is very important to me. The face fur definitely passes inspection 🧐 🙊

🌷Valentino Voguish🌷
Valentino, also known as Val, is a fashion designer and seamstress. They are friends with Mortimer and the Handeemen who help out with clothes and fabrics, the fashion choices, helping and giving children the confidence they need, and many things they are willing to help the Handeemen.
They are the owner of their boutique called “Radiant Aurora”, who immediately takes a liking to Nick Nack and his friends when they enter their shop. Their boutique is located in the city, somewhere near the town where the Handeemen live.
They are creative with their work and talent, very generous, and a beauty expert. Valentino loves pink, likes to spend time with the Handeemen, drinking tea and likes to keep things organized in their boutique and at home. They have shown their favorite flowers in Season 3, which are roses, tulips and cosmos flowers.
They have had Katsaridaphobia since they were a young child that crawled on their arm once. They hate what they look like and the fact that cockroaches carry bacteria. They dislike seeing their friends being mistreated. Especially hated the fact that Nick was being mistreated by his abusive father, Francis Nack (belong to @ericaportfolio). After Nick and his friends escape from Francis and his mobs, Val often stays with Nick and comforts him. They care deeply and are loyal to their family and friends.
Due to their love of fashion, Valentino got along very well with Nick Nack and became close friends in Season 3. Both are flamboyant, love poems, music, and understand the beauty of art. The two even shared their interest and liked to hang out together.
Val enjoys Mortimer’s company and having tea with him. They often talk about their family to him and mention that Mortimer somewhat reminds them of their old friend that brings back good memories.
Just like Nick Nack, Valentino has a complicated relationship and is at odds with Riley (which annoys Riley now that there’s two of them who are passionate about art). But they respect her and like her determination.
Valentino loves Daisy’s pie and is always grateful for her help when they run out of fabric and threads or clean up in their boutique. They are willing to fix or make new clothes and dresses for Daisy for free along with the Handeemen as they are their dearest friends. They appreciate Daisy’s kind words about their work and how compassionate she is.
Valentino has a bit of a complicated relationship with Scout, but not as bad as Riley and Scout’s relationship to each other. Despite their differences and the frustrations that Val tried to convince Scout to try to wear dresses or other new clothes they made, they do respect her and have a soft side with teens and children.
Cruella Movie and Rarity from MLP:FIM were the major inspirations for this character to be a fashion designer. I’ve been thinking about creating my own Hello Puppets OC and my first Non-binary character for a long while, but couldn’t figure out what to write down and the design for them. But now, I finally did it and I’m happy creating this OC.
I also want to mention that I thought about Nick and Val having a romantic relationship or at least felt something for each other during the show. Because again, as I mentioned before, I always see Nick Nack as Bisexual.
And I thought Nick and Val’s romantic relationship would be like Amity and Luz from The Owl House, or Fizz and Asmodeus from Helluva Boss (DON’T watch that show if you’re under 18). I figured they would be cute together. So yeah. If you guys want to draw my OC Valentino, feel free. ^_^

Headcanons for Nick Nack
Since I have mentioned that I like to make Headcanons so I decided to make one rn. Starting off with Nick cause I've got a lot to say. some of them would be silly, wholesome or something like that. (I might make my confessions about Nick but THERE ARE NO NSFW CONFESSIONS FROM ME)
Headcanons
in general
I headcanon him to be mixed race. Chinese French to be specific (Hehe putting mixed headcanons into a character cause I'm also mixed but ethnicity wise)
He's Riley's younger step brother
His age is set to about 30
He knows how to speak 3 languages (English, French and Mandarin) but he does know phrases from a few different languages.
Nick can sing in different languages a is able to sound fluent while singing those songs.
He sings really beautifully. His step sister would say that he sounds like a dying animal but she secretly enjoys it.
He is the least favored out of the Handeemen
He has an eye color changing mechanism that was later added and was an idea that Owen came up with before he was going to make it.
He has "Colored contacts" to change his eye color since his head structure is a little different from the others.
He has faceplates that can be changed.
In game
If someone says that he's their favorite, he'll cry and thank them. He also would let you go since he doesn't wanna kill a fan of his.
He somehow lost his colored contacts. but they are still there somewhere in the studio.
He is often jealous of everyone else because they are more favored than him.
He always wanted Owen attention and would get jealous of Mortimer because Owen always pays attention to him.

Nick Nack has very fluffy and wavy hair but almost nobody knows since he always uses either hairspray or hair gel when ever he come out of his changing room and everyone is there.
He mostly keeps this a secret because he doesn't want anyone touching his hair. The crew knows that he has fluffy hair but is always jumped by it cause they rarely see it.
Nick Nack is the tallest out of the group.
The man also wears heels and he can RUN with them on like no problem.

Nick Nack would draw portraits of the Handeemen and even Owen of course.
Nick Nack would definitely annoy his step sister, Riley with his puns and jokes.
The man would be very encouraging when it comes to anything about art. he would give tips, criticism and things like that.
If someone has an insecurity about something he can help them with that. (If they had an insecurity of their voice, he'll tell them its beautiful and if they had an insecurity of their appearence he'll tell them that they look good and he would defend them if someone says anything about it.
Nick Nack is also insecure of his appearance since some people are creeped out by it. (Reference to the comment section on his fandom wiki page)
Nick carries a little flash light around just to do something like this:
if Nick hears anyone singing during work hours he'll applaud them after they are done which startles them a lot. (Scenario: Imagine you were singing while doing your job and you heard Nick applauding and he said "What a beautiful voice you have")
The man sings 24/7 but when 3am strikes he goes batshit.

George G.(Gustaf) Goof is is globally famous entertainer and celebrity alongside Mickey Mouse and Donald Fauntleroy Duck. He is also a widower of Glory B, and father of two children; George Jr. and Maxine Goof. Through his debut with Mickey and Donald, he was most popular entertainer as he occasionally stars in films, series, variety shows and sitcom, mostly well-known for his slapstick moments. However, despite being “goofy”, he has managed to hide his family from the public until Maxine’s college years.
Despite his current demeanor, his teen years were troubled; seen riding his motorbike in rebellious phase and had strained relationship with his family. However, his stunt tricks were recognized by Disney Studio workers and they recruited him as new member alongside Mickey and Donald. Although attended college of performing arts, he only completed 3 years as through these days he met Glory B who later become a mother of his child. Leaving college, Goofy focused on his job in entertainment to provide a lot for his new family. However, he felt fear of his family exposed to the public and dangers. He had George Jr as firstborn, and years went by he had Maxine as next child. Maxine’s mother Glory passed away a day after her birthday from the car accident on the way home with a gift for her daughter, causing Maxine to stop asking for anything in every birthday. As Goofy was being busy throughout Maxine’s childhood, he was thankful of his son for being with her but at the same time felt he is failing as father. Especially, when Maxine said she didn’t want the world to know she and him are related. Due to his absence in every parent-teacher days, Principal Mazur suspected that Maxine might go through parental neglect and privately called Goofy with advice to get involved with her life more as real father. Realizing how he have missed the time spending with his children—especially Maxine—, Goofy decided to set out the 2 weeks family road trip, but struggled to understand what teenagers enjoy. With Mickey, Donald and his son’s help, Goofy planned out every location she would like with no people bothering her. However, he didn’t know she had a date with Rox and inadvertently had her canceled their date. Later, his son fixed this straining relationship by reserving a ticket to Maxine’s favorite singer’s concert where Goofy can use this opportunity to get on stage with his daughter to meet him. At the concert stage, he shook hands with Powerline as it was revealed the singer has been Goofy’s big fan. The trip has made Maxine understand the true purpose of why Goofy worked as entertainer.
Years later, Goofy and Pete were holding party for their kids as they were leaving for college. While being happy for his daughter’s future campus life, he couldn’t help feeling depressed of him being only person in a house as George Jr already graduated and went to university to study laws out of state and Maxine would be in Oswald College. Days later, the head of Disney Studio was launching next show with Goofy as a temporary instructor of the campus for the subject “Entertainment Business” and “Performing Arts”, located in Oswald College. He happily accepted as he thought he could get to see his daughter more. This naturally caused the entire campus to know Maxine is a daughter of globally famous celebrity. While Maxine wasn’t bothered with this anymore, she felt discomfort that Goofy was always trying to be part of her daily routine. So, she tried several attempts to get him off of her campus life, eventually ended up Goofy having a girlfriend; Sylvia Marpole the campus’ librarian. Soon, he encountered Bradley Uppercrust III the rival of Maxine for X-game competition. While worried of his daughter, he was supported by Sylvia who has given him an advice to let Maxine handle things on her own as she is growing up. Meeting Bradley’s father, Goofy’s concern grew when he learned of the Uppercrust controlling or meddling with his son’s life. When Maxine discovered of Bradley’s father’s plan, she asked her father to join her in X-Game competition, which Goofy accepted. Later, at the X-Game triathlon, Bradley’s father’s scheme nearly cost lives of his son, his son’s teammate Tank, and Goofy’s daughter. With George Gr and Goofy’s help, they were saved and Maxine won the competition. As Bradley conceded defeat and collapsed from the use of drug by his father, Maxine and Rox took him to infirmary as Goofy angrily called out on his father for not only getting Maxine and Tank into huge accident but also nearly killed his own son for his ambition. However, he respected his daughter’s choice in keeping this discovery for themselves as it could damage Bradley’s campus life, even his graduation. After the show’s finale, Goofy leave the college but starts new romance with Sylvia. Occasionally, he would call his daughter to make sure she’s doing well in rest of her college years.
Though in every vacation his daughter have, she would help Goofy in House of Mouse duties as he works at the kitchen and would be seen supporting her when Maxine has to go up onstage to perform. In one of recent variety shows called “Exit Man”, he is elated to have Maxine starring frequent guest stars. Although he makes sure she won’t get stressed over her life involving in world of entertainment, Goofy continuously helps her. Recently, Goofy and Sylvia got married.

I Am On A Journey to Watch AS MANY Films with Crispin Hellion Glover in Them As Possible
I will do my best to watch the films/shows and give a high-level view of my thoughts on each.
I will continue to do this until I watch all of the films I have on my list (the list will be added to this post as well as updated throughout).
I am playing catch-up compared to my other social media accounts but, to be honest, Tumblr is perfect for this kind of thing.
So... Buckle up because this is going to be a LONG ride. (:
First, I’d like to personally thank Crispin Glover for all the fantastic performances and artworks he’s created over the years. His approach to acting is beautifully unique, and every single one of his performances are memorable. Though I haven’t had the pleasure of viewing his own films, I’ve at least seen some of his artwork through the books he publishes. Now that I’ve found myself down a rabbit hole of sorts, not just watching these movies but also listening to all kinds of interviews and such, I am a huge admirer of the way he approaches what he does and creates.
TL;DR: I’ve found boundless inspiration and joy from observing both his craft and his art. So, for that and for a lot more I’m struggling to put into words because they are genuinely such big emotions, thank you!

Why am I doing this? Because I want to!

To kick things off, and in the order in which I cover this journey on other social media platforms, a rewatch of one of my favorite slasher flicks was in order. Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984)!
If you remember this movie at all, which you should because it is the 2nd best film in the franchise, you may recall the awkward kid who kept talking about being horny, obsessed over his friend calling him a "dead fuck," and danced real wacky in that one scene. Ya know, Jimmy “Jimbo” Mortimer. Yes! That one! That was Crispin Glover alright.
Though the role is small, his performance in this is just exactly what I’ve come to expect from most, if not all, of Crispin’s performances: oh so memorable.
I love this performance a lot. Even before I was aware of Crispin Glover, I was enamored with just how strange the character was and how that differed from a lot of the other performances in the Friday the 13th franchise.
A bit of a fun fact: Crispin has talked about that dance he does and mentions that the song that was played on set during filming was not what ended up being used in the final product of that scene. Apparently, the song used for filming was AC/DC’s “Back in Black.” Cool folks on the internet have attempt to show that off so check this shit out:

As part of a double feature with Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter, I watched Back to the Future (1985) for the first time. Yes, the first time. I know how shameful for a 28-year-old such as myself.
I genuinely felt that the best descriptor for the film was "cute". It was cute! It’s one of those movies that I felt like I had really already seen due to how references to it have permeated our culture.
I can understand why the film is a classic. The way Crispin plays George McFly makes him an incredibly endearing character. I loved the “George-isms” that Crispin created, that carry over from old George to young George. It’s excellent work.
I think Back to the Future is talked about too much, in all honesty, and especially with the whole lawsuit and incredibly harmful shit that happened to Crispin with Back to the Future II, a movie which I straight up refuse to see.
But yeah, all that aside, Back to the Future was cute and a fun time.

Shout out to the free streaming service Tubi, which has been incredible kind to me and provided SO many of the films on my list.
One of those films is Bartleby (2001). Bartleby is a surrealist, sit-com-style office comedy film adaptation of Herman Melville's short story "Bartleby, the Scrivener". Crispin plays Bartleby, and genuinely ends up having few lines except for, of course, “I would prefer not to” or some iteration of that.
This film ended up being Supremely My Shit in terms of what I look for in a comedy.
I LOVED this movie, so much so that I now own it on DVD and plan to show it to everyone. I cannot recommend it enough.

Next up, Wizard of Gore (2007). A splatter/noir horror film. This is a remake of the 1970 film of the same name.
I will say that this film, overall, wasn’t that great. It has some highlights though! For instance, Crispin hams it up as a wacko magician who has an outrageously huge codpiece. And, oh hey! Brad Dourif and Jeffrey Combs are in it!
As I’ve sat with this one, it’s one where I can say the performance that Crispin gives is the real draw here. He’s absolutely perfect for something so strange and unusual as this.

Now, I should back up and take some time to talk about Willard (2003). I have a lot of thoughts, as well as some fun facts.
This remake of a 1971 film of the same name, which in turn was based off of the Stephen Gilbert novel Ratman’s Notebooks, is a standout so far for the films I've seen Crispin Glover in. I knew going into viewing it that it was well regarded in his filmography. I can understand why! It's incredible.
It is a horror movie but not in the way that is typical. To me, the horror lies in the treatment of Willard, particularly in the workplace. And then, of course, later the horror continues but more in the form of self-inflicted acclimation of choices made by Willard (if only he were nicer to Ben! Oh, things would’ve been different). I do believe reading the rats as a force of nature as an element of horror is pretty accurate.
Though the part that make this film an instant comfort movie for me/a film that immediately went on my "get to know me movies list" is Crispin's performance and the framing of Willard's abuse in the workplace. I have some pretty bad workplace-related trauma from sustained abuse by past and previous employers. I have to admit to feeling some level of catharsis in relating to the Willard character, as well as viewing him as a kind of hero despite serious pitfalls and gruesome mistakes throughout, including a variety of self-inflicted repression of emotion and being (also I'd say the character is neurodivergent-coded, and thats highly relatable to me). I also think that [spoilers] when he kills his boss with a horde of rats--not for himself, entirely, but for Socrates--I felt that in my core like, yes, it's so much harder to stand up for yourself, even if you can't take more abuse, but it's easier when you have something rally behind or protect or avenge, in this situation. Am I thinking too hard about the contents of a 2003 horror movie? Probably.
Anyway. The rats are awesome in this film too, as is the performance of R. Lee Ermey. I wish New Line Cinemas let the film be rated R. I feel like more gore and Ermey riffing off strings of cursing would've been nice. Apparently, there was an R-rated version but it is lost now. I've been able to view some of the deleted scenes and I can see where an R-rated version could have been.
A great aspect of promotional materials for Willard was that Crispin Glover recorded a cover of Michael Jackson's "Ben" (yes, it's about the rat). It's my understanding the original song was recorded for the 1973 sequel to Willard, also titled Ben. Anyway, the music video for Glover's take on "Ben" was also directed by him. While I have you here, I'd like to let you know that the opening credits of Willard feature imagery from Glover's own published book -- Rat Catching. Rat Catching, published in 1988, is a heavily illustrated piece of visual and textural art built from the 1896 book Studies in the Art of Rat Catching.
Crispin has published other works similar to Rat Catching: Oak Mot (1989), Concrete Inspection (1990), What it is, and How it is Done (1992), and Round My House (2016). In each he rearranges text, blacks out certain standing passages (a la blackout poetry), and adds his own prose and occasionally images into the margins and elsewhere, thus creating an entirely new story. Plus, as is my understanding, a visual feast for the eyes.
GUESS WHAT THE COOLEST PART ABOUT THESE BOOKS ARE?! You can get em directly from the guy himself! Literally. You can chuck $30-ish + shipping at him directly (metaphorically, of course) and you'll get a book.

On my TV back a few weeks ago was Twister (1989).
From what I had previously read about the film, it billed as a comedy but in actuality it is more drama. It is an adaptation of the the novel Oh by Mary Robison.
The film features music by Hans Zimmer, a cameo by William S. Burroughs, and, of course, a late 80s Crispin Glover doing his weird lil thing that I love oh so much. It was... bizarre!!
I can’t really say if it is good or bad--it just is. I can’t even say if the ending is good or bad, it simply is what it is. Having sat with it for a while, I can appreciate Twister for eliciting emotion. I was pretty fed up with some of the character and confused at their motivations but at least it got me thinking about what was happening and asking the question “what are they doing and why?” That’s important in its own right.

Let me just say, I was VERY excited to watch We Have Always Lived in the Castle (2018). I am a huge fan of the original novel, which I read when I was much younger. I remember starting to watch this film when it came to Netflix in 2019 but failing to finish it due to life events (I think we were moving), but I can say now that I have finished watching it!
I am happy to report that We Have Always Lived in the Castle is a fairly faithful adaptation of the novel, give or take, and was really enjoyable to see. I feel like it is a hard novel to adapt since Merricat is an unreliable narrator and it is all told from her perspective, but I think this film does a solid job illustrating that.
I'm generally very pleased with the framing of the characters in the adaptation and the performances are great. I don't think anyone else could do Charles except for Sebastian Stan. He's so good at playing a total dick.
On that note, I don't think anyone else could've played Julian Blackwood like Crispin Glover. Comparing to the novel, I had no idea how to really imagine Julian in a lot of instances but seeing this character performed in this way makes SO much more sense to me. Incredible work.
I could probably go on, but I highly recommend checking it out for yourself, especially if you're a fan of the novel!

Ohhh Lucky Day (2019)! It was AWESOME. Though, I didn’t keep enough detailed thoughts about it so I apologize for a short and sweet overview of some highlights.
I swear to god this film must've flown under the radar when it came out because I hadn't heard of it until recently (but I distinctly remember seeing showtimes for it back when it came out).
It was a damn good time. Crispin plays a contract killer of sorts who has the most over-the-top French accent (despite not being French at all) and every scene he's in is golden. His serious demeanor for some of the more ridiculous scenes just works and brought a big stupid grin to my face.
I’ve seen this film twice now it’s just a masterfully done action/comedy/drama--and yes, it really does blend the genres so well.

Before I take a break from letting this live in my drafts, I want to talk about a big one for me: Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities, Episode 5: “Pickman's Model”. The one that started this journey. And I know, I'm so utterly late to the party! I live in my own lil horror-themed film bubble most of the time until I find some performances I enjoy and really gnaw on, for lack of a better word. So this kicked it off entirely.
The whole show is a standout for me. I enjoyed every single episode and every story. I think the most technically scary was “Lot 36″ and the most relatable to me in the way it is framed is “The Outside”. Upon my first watch of the show, I just knew I'd be head over heels for the “Pickman’s Model” retelling. It's my favorite Lovecraft story, and I just love that integration of tangible art and eldritch horror. It's just the best.
I feel that the adaptation is very strong, and a great depiction of a more modern Lovecraft despite the setting and time period. I loved all the lil reference drops to other works in the Cthulhu Mythos throughout as well -- such a nice touch.
I felt the relationship that Thurber and Pickman have is so utterly bizarre and my own explanation for why there is a draw there is that "the darkness" itself as described and felt by both character acts as an allegory for queerness. I might be um biased, being a queer person and all, but that's just me. I think it's also valid to interpret the whole relationship as like human curiosity--like hell yeah I'd also be fascinated by this guy's art, if not also a bit frightened! So the draw is simply explained that way... if you so choose. Lots of ways to go on that end of things, and that's rad.
There is such a a genuine level of depth and understanding of character in the way Crispin plays Pickman. I swear there's not even that much depth in the original Lovecraft story! It's just all on this adaptation, the director, and his performance. It's outstanding, and he really steals the show (and my heart) in this one particularly.
A lot of folks, and I mean A LOT, didn't seem to appreciate the the truly old-timey Bostonian accent. I see ya’ll out there. C'mon, he worked with THE Erik Singer for that accent to sounds as true-to-time-period as possible -- at least respect it but I find it fascinating how that, being as normal for that setting as it is, given an extra level of strangeness to Pickman as a character (namely because nobody else is doing that, give or take. There are some Massachusetts accents here and there from other characters but there's not really the same level of commitment).
Also, I thought the way they did Pickman's sketchbook up as a multi-media and textural kinda piece in and of itself was a nice touch -- felt like that was purposely laid out specifically with Crispin in mind to play off the works he creates. Not quite, of course, but I think that's neat and how I’m choosing to read into it.

1. What’s your favourite sims death?
I always thought Death by Flies was particularly brutal and acted as a good incentive to not let your slobs get too... slobby. I am glad they brought it back for Sims 4.
2. Alpha CC or Maxis Match?
I consider myself to be pretty strictly maxis match. It just makes the game feel like its own world, instead of ours. Though, I do like to use makeup and eye from alpha creators. Plus my game barely runs on my poor laptop, so alpha cc is kind of like a forbidden fruit for my game.
3. Do you cheat when your sims gain weight?
I have a mod that makes it so sims don't gain muscle or weight at all. Though, the majority of my sims have their weight set to like 75% ish and I still think they look too skinny...
4. Do you use move objects?
Unplayable otherwise.
5. Favorite mod?
I swear by roBurky's Meaningful Stories Mod and weerbesu's UI Cheats Extension. If I had to play with only the bare minimum of mods, these would be the two that I pick.
6. First expansion/game/stuff pack you got?
When I was a kid, I played the MySims games, MySims Agents, specifically. When I went to go look up more Sims games, I found Sims 2 and had my mom buy Sims 2 Seasons. I did not realize it required the basegame until it was too late.
7. Do you pronounce “live mode” like aLIVE or LIVing?
I say it like aLIVE. I guess in my mind it's like LIVE television or LIVE streaming a game. It makes sense in my brain at least.
8. Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made?
It is illegal to make me choose. Though, I might make a post soon that just a bunch of random sims I have made in CAS and a brief description of their stories I never played out. Stay tuned.
9. Have you made a simself?
Ever since I started playing Sims, I have always made a simself. Though, when I was younger, the sim was like a projection of what I wanted to look like and now my simself is what I look like. For the most part. He needs some updating.
10. What sim traits do you give yourself?
Probably Creative, Art Lover and Perfectionist for Sims 4 traits. In Sims 3, probably Artistic, Couch Potato, Cat Person, Perfectionist and Supernatural Fan. That about sums me up.
11. Which is your favorite EA hair color?
This would be easier to ask my LEAST favorite color would be the true black swatch because half of the hairs just look gray. Favorite? Not really any, depends on the sim but most of my sims have the blue-black hair color.
12. Favorite EA hair?
Sims 2 peaked with this hairstyle. I tried to recreate it here in Sims 4 by combining cc, but it's not the same...
13. Favorite life stage?
Purely from a gameplay standpoint, it is Young Adult, but that is such a vanilla answer. Toddlers are up there. It would be Infants but I have yet to actually play with that life stage...
14. Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay?
It's about equal tbh. Depends on my mood.
15. Are you a CC creator?
Perhaps.

Yeah, I force them to join my discord server.

Each game has things that I like and don't like. Gameplay wise, Sims 2 100%. Building and CAS, Sims 4. I have not touched Sims 3 in a hot second but I would love to revisit it again. Sims 1 is at the bottom of the list, I only play that game for the novelty, tbh.
18. Do you have any sims merch?
No, but I do own a plumbob headband for when me and my girlfriend dressed up as Bella and Mortimer a few years ago.

Unfortunately.

Not really. The only noticeable change is that I used to religiously make irl people that I knew as sims, including my crushes of course. Now, I don't ever do that besides my simself.

Pirated photoshop.

Bands! Though, them releasing a grunge kit and a potential goth kit makes that feel more and more unlikely.

Sims 3: Supernatural holds a special place in my heart that has yet to be replicated. I just love occults and vampires and any sim packs that revolve around it. Every time I go to make a family I'm like. "These guys are cute... but what if they were vampires, too?" Every. Time.

Handee-kids for my fnaftale x Hello Puppets crossover!
In order from oldest to youngest:
Angelo Wales Nack
The eldest of the Handee-kids. His father is Nick Nack and his mother is Temptress. His mother is a wooden marionette that was once human.
Both his parents have a love for the arts, and he was their favorite project. He takes after his father's better qualities. His talent for all the art forms, his playful attitude, and endearing annoyingness. He likes messing with all his cousins, but the Ruckus twins are usually his main targets.
Abilities include:
Fire, flying, music attacks, marionette strings, water attacks, clay attacks, and painting attacks. His abilities are art based and ghost based.
Owie Springlocks Handee
(When Mortimer is pissed, he throws in Gubberson at the end. That's when he's REALLY pissed-)
He's a lot like his father, Mortimer Handee, but he's what he couldn't be.
Owie is the kind, fun leader of the kids that Owen intended Mortimer to be before the spell made him a monster.
Unlike his father, Owie doesn't need a host to feed on. In the RP, me and my friend established that the mirror spell made the puppet's souls deform. They were made too quickly, with the wrong amount and type of magic. (Their soul walls were too thin, and magic kept leaking from them like an old balloon. Plus, the agony from Owen's soul made them more violent and the dark magic made it harder for that agony to leak out with the natural pure magic in souls. Dark magic is thicker than pure magic. I have this whole thing with souls being an organ full of liquid magic for my au.)
Since he doesn't need a host, he and the other kids were given legs. He can walk and talk like a real boy!
Mortimer made him alone, not wishing to have a partner.
Abilities include:
Voodoo like his father, Fire attacks, magic flash, card attacks, wand attack, music attacks, and animal attacks are on the list of natural magic that Owie has. Along with teleportation and healing magic. His attacks are music and magician based.
Lavender Danger Tiger
She's a hybrid of a puppet and a tiger animatronic. Her ma is Daisy Danger, and her Pa is Thomas Tiger. Like her ma, she's the group's mom friend. Looking after the other Handee-kids, and helping Owie lead them.
Like her mom, she loves cooking and baking. As long as you have ingredients for SOMETHING, and an adult is around, she'll cook for you. But also like her mother, Lavender has a danger mode. She's much more dangerous in danger mode than her mother, thanks to her tiger half making her more wild when pissed. Thankfully, it's hard to piss her off, and she can remain calm in more stressful environments for longer than her mother.
Abilities include:
Fire, claw attack, bite attack, pie attack, fruit attack, shield, music attacks. She has magic based on cooking and tigers.
John Ronald Reuel Springlocks Ruckus
John is named after JRR Tolkien, the Doctor that Riley had studied the works of. Though she learned that his works were of fiction, magic and science still tend to go hand in hand.
John is older than his sister by a few seconds, and rubs it in every chance he gets. But whenever he needs to, he also uses his age to play the "protective older brother" card, to give reasons to take a bullet for Rosalind. Still annoys her, but as the older twin, he tries to be more responsible. But he's the furthest from responsible, but he's more capable.
Prefers the Chronicles of Narnia and Wings of Fire, over Tolkien's works. But still picks out books by him for his mother to read to him and his sister.
Abilities include:
Fire, electric attacks, chemical attacks, plant based attacks, bite attacks, music attacks, telekinesis, and crystal attacks. Magic is based on science and dogs. Same as his sister.
Rosalind Franklin Springlocks Ruckus
Rosalind is named after the scientist that discovered DNA. Learning this, she has a fascination with biology, wanting to know everything that the woman she's named after, helped other people learn.
Loves helping and/or sneaking into her mom's lab, and the lab of Dr. Bonnie to perform experiments with chemicals and magic. Her brother may be like how their mother was intended to be like, but she herself got SOME of her mom's craziness. But only some, to where she isn't actively a threat, she's just a kid you need to keep a VERY close eye on if you don't want to deal with a chemical fire.
She's younger than John by a few seconds, and hates it. Because he always rubs it in. How they found out was, when they were created, their mother couldn't help herself and recorded their development from when she made their souls, up until they learned to talk. The twins, in search for something interesting to learn about, found their data their mom wrote down. John hasn't let Rosalind live it down since.
Despite being younger, and more wild than her brother, she's more responsible. But less capable. Unfortunately for her, she and John are two peas in a pod. She's the responsible one, he's the capable one, and together they're unstoppable! ...or VERY stoppable- just depends on the day.
Though they are both target's for Angelo's pranks, Rosa is often the main target. Her brother let's himself get pranked too though, so she isn't alone and so they can get Angelo in more trouble.
Has a love for Tolkien's work like her mother, but also loves reading A-Z Mysteries, The Magic School Bus books, and American Girl doll books. The Hobbit always puts her to sleep.
Abilities include:
Fire, electric attacks, chemical attacks, plant based attacks, bite attacks, music attacks, telekinesis, and crystal attacks. Magic is based on science and dogs. Same as her brother.

Leighton Nack
I am finally done with Mr. Nack!!!! I'll draw our favorite Nicholas Nack as ref to their heights XD Sorry for the delay, this project was a bit overwhelming for me XD (I got like other 6 more characters to draw TT)
Leighton Joel Nack:
Born and raised int eh United States. He was raised around the coast, so he often grew up around ships
Fluent in English, French, Italian, and Spanish
CEO and Owner of the Nack's Shipment & Co company. Strangely enough, he is a fair CEO and actually does his taxes (Miriam's helps him)
Met Miriam around 10-11 as both studied at the same private institute.
He claims to be an only child, but had a late older Sister named Nicole (@dolly-royal 's OC)
He was very awkward when it came into dating Miriam, now he has more confidence and constantly showers her with love and presents.
Daddy issues run down into the family
Had a terrible relationship with his parents and despises his Father a lot
Is quite stern and impulsive. He has a lot of self-esteem issues and Trauma but refuses to talk about them.
He had the worst relationship with Nick, and pretty much gave Nicholas a lot of generational trauma.
Rarely shows his emotions outside Miriam reminded him that it is unhealthy to store them up.
Is destroyed and devastated when Nick ran away but won't admit. He nearly disowned Nick but it was in a fit of rage, he later sat in his study reflecting into how he was close to fully destroy his only link with his son.
This may come as surprising, but Leighton in a way is proud and annoyed at Nick's art career. He still desires and has hopes that Nick could take over the business, but at least he is glad Nick has found a way to maintain himself
Still, he disapproves Nick's art career and still sees it as a bit of a waste of time, but is relief to see his kid is alright.
Although it may looked like he hated his son, Leighton considers Nick as one of the things he loves the most. The downside is that he has this selfish self-projecting dream into seeing Nick achieve what he never did (On the next point).
After Nicole's death, Kristopher Nack treated Leighton harshly and never showed the slight sign of approval even after Leighton took over the company (by his own merits and as for revenge for his beloved Mimi), and was always considered as the unwanted kid by his father.
Leighton is a family man, and he adores his wife with his life. He will defend her to death and will kick ass if anyone disrespects her (depends on the level of disrespect)

Howdy Howdy, it’s ya favorite slug
Okay, ocs, here we go
Starting with the first ones I’ve made
Rocker
(Warning, a lot of these are gonna feature a lot of old art—)
Rocker is the loud, proud, smart mouthed second in command of the Basement puppets.
Their flirty and quick to anger, they often fight a lot with their leader, “The Mistress”, and are very protective of the mini rinas
Speaking of…
The Mini-Rinas
In order, their names are mini-rina prime, also knowned as prina. Mini-rina 2, 3 and rebel-rina, formerly known as mini-rina 4
There’s not much to say about them, their the students of The Mistress, their often over worked and only get a small break when the mistresses under study takes over watching them when the mistress is resting
Pearl
The nervous understudy of the mistress, she’s in charge of making sure everything is up to the mistresses Standards, taking care of the other basement puppets, and making sure a certain doctor is still alive and well…
The Mistress
To sum her up, she’s basically a gender bent Mortimer. She’s strict and meticulous, is something doesn’t go Exactly as she plans, she won’t hesitate to lash out with her whip. Hell, there are some days where she gives daisy danger a run for her money with her explosive temper.
Now, onto the aus. Or, au Singular i suppose
The SugarCrash au! (Hey, see, I told y’all I’d make that post explaining what it’s about!)
Starting with the one and only, SugarCrash Mortimer Handee
Mortimer handee was one of the first puppets to be brought to life by the famous, (or rather, in-famous, depending on who you ask) Owen Gubberson. Unlike the Mortimer your familiar with, when the handeeman were brought to life, they were given their own bodies, much to Owen’s surprise.
This Mortimer is a lot more, let’s say, slick, than cannon Mortimer. This Mortimer is an entertainer through and through, he’s dapper, cunning and a big smooth talker. However don’t let this side of him fool you, he can be just as cruel, if not more so, than cannon. There are some days where even the fearless Daisy Danger worries for her well being when he’s upset. Unfortunately, no one (for now) knows this side of him.
Riley Athen Ruckus
Riley ruckus, The resident scientist and now newly discovered Promising artist, this Riley is a bit more, braggy, I suppose? Than the one we know, Dr ruckus will take every opportunity to gloat about the achievements of the handeeman and how far their once humble little studio has come, now known by local’s as the “Real Life handee manor”, thanks to both the magic of Mortimers spell book and her (as well as nicks, but she’ll never admit this-) own creative genius. And just so happens to be the one who got their old show rebooted with one phone call❤️ (much to Rachael’s surprise and anger-)
Daisy Danger
Daisy Danger, resident mom to all employees and ragdolls, and one hell of a magic cook and baker, daisy is by far one of the sweetest puppets you’ll ever meet. That is, if you don’t get on her nerves- As we all know, daisy is Quite well known for her “Danger Mode”, but what everyone didn’t know, was how damn destructive she can get during what the main four refer to as, a “SugarCrash”. Like it’s been implied, when a puppet enters a SugarCrash, they get incredibly more dangerous than they were before. Basically, it’s danger mode on steroids, and not only that, one’s body changes into a more monstrous, almost feral like form. God only knows what daisy’s SugarCrash’s look like…
Dr. Paddywack, aka nick nack
(Sorry you guys get no visual reference right now, I’ve hit the image limit-)
Dr. Paddywack, formerly known as nick nack, Is still the resident artist of the handeeman crew, but has now gained an appreciation for science and technology. Nick is still the same old nick we all know and love, he’s creative, dramatic, and jus a tiny bit egotistical, except this nick seems a bit more… jumpy, let’s say, than regular nick. He’s just a tad bit more reserved than cannon, and. Something about the way the ragdolls tend to avoid his path seems… odd. (>;])

Here Me Out “Hello Puppets” Fans...
If the puppets reflect certain parts of Owen Gubberson, like his obsession and need for control, let’s expand on that.
- Nick has a crush on Riley because Owen has a crush on Rachel Breadstone. She’s the one who left a voicemail in Midnight Show about pulling the plug on Mortimer’s Handeemen after seeing he purchased a book for half a million dollars with the studio budget. The two of them seemed to be on nearly constant bad terms with one another, much like Nick and Riley.
- Daisy’s “Danger Mode” is based on Owen’s own anger management issues. He might not have been very violent in the games, but he did act out in an immature fashion when people said or did things he didn’t like. I.e. Hanging up the phone during a voicemail multiple times, not showing remorse when he almost caused bodily harm in the studio via falling lights, and muttering to himself when other people are talking. It could be that he gave Daisy the ability to go ape-shit because he’s not able to indulge in destructive urges, or else he’d be like his father. Speaking of...
- The relationships between Mortimer and Riley and Mortimer and Nick are very interesting, because Nick suffers when Riley messes up as shown in the security logs. Nick might be the closest representation of Owen himself, a tragic artist caught in the line of fire between family members, but Riley was intended to be Nick’s sister. She even insists on demoting Owen from “father” to “lab rat”, while putting Mortimer on a pedestal most of the time. She’s supposedly his favorite, too, so I’m wondering if Owen had a sister or sister-figure in his childhood.
- Something I’m a bit confused by is Mortimer’s role in the Handeemen television show. We know Nick taught the arts, Riley taught science with some math, Daisy is geared towards home economics (by what extent, we aren’t sure) but Mortimer doesn’t really have a specific education subject assigned to him. It could be literature, as he was in charge of the book that brought them to life, or history. My main theory, though, is that he was meant to teach kids MORALS, kind of like Dragon Tales, where a kid has a problem that needs to be solved by the end of the episode and he’s the wise old wizard with the answer. That didn’t really fit my Dragon Tales comparison, but if you know, you know. I’m wondering if Owen made Mortimer with the intention of teaching young children lessons that fathers are expected to share, but because he didn’t have that opportunity, he wanted to offer kids a father figure that would never let them down. Until Owen fucked it up for everyone with that spell.

Character Bingo: Nick Nack (HP:MS)
@dolly-royal @omggypsyesmeraldathings-blog (I know you asked for Riley too but I'm making it a separate post since its the same character :3 )
Alrighty lets begin (It's gonna be very long because I've got a lot of things to say about him)
They are so cool looking
I gotta admit, he looks very cool. Even tho some prople say he looks like James Charles (Which I STRONGLY disagree) I love his design. I personally like his clothes, the man has drip. Heck, I literally painted a white blazer for a cosplay but now I just wear it when I'm not in cosplay anymore. I also like his facial structure since it gave me a challenge to draw him before but now I've gone used too it. (I can go on and on)
Everyone but me is wrong about them
Ok, so this is just a little joke (I do believe in other people's headcanons about him) but I would make this joke of "As a Nick Nack Kinnie, he would defiantly do that" if there's something that I think he would do.
Wasted Potential
Ik hes in the prequel but he could have more potential in the first game too (Since his model was already made). I think that Nick could've been in the tea party with Mortimer and Riley at the end instead of Kathy. (IDK but stillll)
If they were real I would be afraid of them
Ok, maybe a little startled but still- I mean, he's a puppet that wants a human as his host. But I headcanon that when you say that he's your favorite, he'll stop, cry and just be nicer to you. (Since he doesn't want to harm a fan)
They are deeper then they seem
for some reason I feel like there's something more about Nick that we don't know. The fact that he might have the urge not hunt for Owen and his urge to do it is strange but maybe there's more context in the game when its realesed.

So one time I tried to look how far the fandom has got. So every fandom has R34 art so I decided to type it in on google and OH I REGRET MY DECISION. I found a Nick Nack one- (IDK if that counts tho but still)
Didn't get enough screen time
This applies for the first game. like- we only see him in the shadows and that's it.

Well kinda, I don't own any handbags but I wanna put him in a back pack instead with him poking out of it. If i had a Nick Nack puppet i would put him in there, let him poke out of it and go out with him like that for aesthetic purposes (And probably comfort reasons as well).
Nothing I like about them is technically canon
Another joke one. I do like things that are canon but I like to come up with headcanons to make me like him more than usual.
Why do they look like that
I don't mean his Midnight show ver. I meant his model that was supposed to be in the first game. What happened to his eyes? Where his is little beard thingy? (I headcanon that the eyes are supposed to be a mechanism that was added in later. like Puppet contact lenses I guess. it was later added because it wasn't in the blue prints so it was just a last minute idea Owen came up with)

Yep, that's me (As my username says it) I relate to him a lot. from my interests to maybe personality. heck I made a list of it and there's a lot of things I kin him that its scary. Ex. liking arts, having mood swings, being a tea person, likes to sing (the difference is that I think my voice sounds horrible) and more things-
They've never done anything wrong in their life <33
Ok, Ok maybe he has done some thing wrong in his life but at least he has the urge to not kill us-
